The pages built with the Advanced Layout Builder are rendered with the /enfold/template-builder.php file and so the changes in the single.php will not apply in this case.

Well, those are titles for the mega-menu and they are stipped out when the menu changes to the mobile version. Normally a column would have links under it and so they would show on mobile.

You can disable the image size generation at all.
