Please try reloading the theme via FTP and see if the issue persists. Rename the old enfold folder and make a new one, you can delete the renamed folder when the new one works.

Did you add the JavaScript from the thread you posted? It is working for older versions and not for the later ones. And so the icons are not moved to the burger menu.
