Thank you, I just wanted to see if there are any errors in your Quick css.

If the theme’s merging css does not work for you, you can minify the files with your caching plugin so that would not really be the speed issue.

Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css, if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css

I think the word “menu” should be hidden in portrait mode on mobile.

You do not need to buy the theme to update it if you have your license key or Envato token. Yes, it is safe to update from 4.5.3 to 4.6.x but still, it is better to have a test server where you do it first and always have a backup.
