I’m glad I found this thread, but I’m slightly confused as to what I should use for what I’m doing. I have a button that links to the contact page. I want to use it as the CTA at the bottom of specific pages and posts. But if I want to change the way the button looks, or the text on it, or even what it links to, I’d have to change that on every single button I have out there.
Other than the plug recommended by Guenni007, is there a way to make this happen in Enfold? I can’t find the “Page Content” element that Ismael suggested. Unless I’m thinking of the wrong thing when he says “Page Conent”. I probably am! LOL
September 22, 2020 at 3:14 am in reply to: More on transitioning an old post to Advanced Layout Builder #1247498That’s very odd — I know y’all have used that login before. I changed the password and that’s in the private content. If the username doesn’t work, use the username kriesi.

August 27, 2020 at 2:05 am in reply to: featured image, title, and meta have disappeared on just one blog post #1241057What a relief. I managed to make the post look like all of the others. Thank you!!
I found what I needed to fix this!

I guess reading the documentation is a good idea! ;)
Thanks!
Thanks Victoria — will do!
How do you do this if the Animated Countdown element only works with time, rather than plain ole numbers or dollar amounts? I want to show how we cut costs for a client, going from $0.15 to $0.02 cost per result. — I can get the countdown to count UP to $0.02, but that’s not really ideal.
I also need to count down using percentages, like so:
Cost per Purchase
2017 $3271
2018 $606 (86% improved)
2019 $414 (32% improved)OR
Cost per Lead
Early 2017 $696
2017 $217
2018 $101
2019 $93.I was also trying to do this with progress bars, but that only allows for percentages that go up to 100%, and I have stats that look like this, showing year over year improvements:
Number of Leads
2017 0
2017 209 (100%)
2018 2,140 (924%)
2019 2,577 (18%)I’m starting to think that I’m not going to be able to make this part of our site look slick with the features in Enfold, but maybe somebody has some ideas. Thanks!
Michaela, were you able to make this happen? If so, would you be willing to share the secret? :) Thanks!
How interesting. So that only happens when the separator (which is there purposefully) is above/below a color section or between two color sections? How odd and annoying. Thanks — I’ll just redo these parts of the page.
If I deactivate the Enfold markup, won’t that jack up the design of the page I’m working on?
1. Ok, thanks. I’ll see if there’s a plugin.
2. If I have a Facebook ad, coded for conversions, that sends a user to a blog post, what is the chance that, if someone who came to that post from that ad shared that post, that the recipient reading the shared post would count as a conversion? I know that’s long and complicated and as I’m retyping it, I’m realizing it’s probably out of scope for this forum. But maybe someone knows. I’ll never know unless I ask! lolThanks!
I’d like to know the answer to this as well. Thanks!
HI there! I was doing what Mike suggested in this thread — using a custom html widget to create the title for another widget, but that custom html widget seems to add 30 px of padding to the bottom of itself (see screen shot). I tried to edit with css, but each time I add custom html, it gets a new ID. All I can think of is to add each custom HTML widget, check the ID, and write custom CSS for that ID.
I’ve scoured the wordpress.org plugins and Google, trying to find a way to make this work. Finally I found this: https://thewphosting.com/how-to-link-widget-titles-in-wordpress-without-using-a-plugin/
I was worried it wasn’t going to work because the article is from 2015, but so far, my test appears to work. YAY! FYI, the code snippet goes into your functions.php file.

Thank you again!
WOW! That;s GREAT! Thank you so much, Jordan.
So it had nothing to do with the code I pasted in my original message, then?
Will your CSS apply to each layer slide I install? For example, the home page has that little white line, too.

I just decided that I’d live with the shortcode box until there’s a patch. I have my settings back on the right, so that’s more important right now. If I get aggravated with the shortcode box again, I’ll deal with it then. :) :) :)
Guenni007 — thanks for that cool tip about making the the elements stay near the top of the page…what a great feature! I don’t have it, but it’s a great feature! :) I was having the issue of the page not scrolling while I was dragging, too, but it seems to have rectified itself all on its own.
May 1, 2020 at 8:39 pm in reply to: Default WP 5.4. editor shows together with Enfold Advanced Layout Editor #1208940I had the problem with the extra shortcode box when the bug first showed up, so I switched to classic editor and things were fine…until 2 days ago when I noticed that the document settings to the right had disappeared — everything after “featured image”.
Not sure if the download I just got from Envato and reinstalled is the newest thing, but I did it anyway. I still had the same result. I switched back to block editor and now I have my settings on the right, but the shortcode box is also back.
And that link definitely took me to a 404 for 2 days.

April 30, 2020 at 5:28 pm in reply to: Default WP 5.4. editor shows together with Enfold Advanced Layout Editor #1208563I hate to be a bumper, but the link above from @victoria leads to a 404 page and I still don’t know how to fix this issue. I’m on a deadline and can’t do what I need to without having access to the Advanced Layout Editor. Please advise. Thank you!

Ooops! Sorry for the late response. I will give that a shot! Thank you!

Ooops! Sorry for the late response. Yes, I’m all good. Thank you!
Awesome! Thanks!
But I do not want to import the demo and overwrite everything I’ve done so far. I guess I need to set up a demo server just for that?
I think we’re good! Thank you so much.
You are a champ, Victoria! That totally worked for the home page.
It doesn’t stretch all the way across, though, on the other pages, but then I realized I could change that highlight/alternate color from #f8f8f8 to #ffffff in General Styling. All is well now! Thanks!
February 7, 2020 at 12:47 am in reply to: Customize header bar on single post in Enfold 2017 #1182199Thank you so much, Jordan! Worked perfectly.
Thanks for looking into this!
