Thanks!Rikard,
That worked. Thank you so much!July 7, 2021 at 1:51 pm in reply to: After updating to (4.8.3) images and videos are not working #1309110I was able to solve the problem. I went to Enfold > Theme Options > Performance and disabled CSS file merging and compression and Javascript file merging and compression. Refreshed and wa la video and images are back up.
Thought this may be helpful for anyone using Siteground hosting and the SG Optimizer.I am having the same problem. Every time there’s an update my Fullwidth easy slide images disappear.
You can disregard. I decided to purchase Slider Revolution and it has solved the problem hopefully once and for all.

Thank you for your reply! That might work, but the image is a background image and just has the text on top of it.
I’ll see if I can make it work the way you suggested.
What solved my problem was a premium plugin called wp-rocket. My clients site was loading really slow and had bad score on the Google Page Speed test for mobile and desktop. Once I installed wp-rocket and configured it, it’s getting a lot better score. Almost 100.
Hope this helps.Ismael,
It is also random when compression is disabled. I activated the siteground optimizer plugin and it seems to be working now.
You can close the tread and if I have furtherThank you!

I am still having the same original issue after updating the site and disabling these in the Performance area. (I’ve enabled them again)
My client is not too happy their site is not working in IE… I hardly ever use IE- Edge but it’s the default browser on Microsoft computers and most people don’t know to use a different one. I don’t know what to do.
Can someone check to see if you see the same thing I do. No images at the top in the slider or grid…
Checked the website in IE today and even with those settings disabled it is still not showing the images.
Thanks Rikard
It seems when I enable the file compression, after disabling it, the site doesn’t show up properly in IE. If I leave it disabled, what does this do? will it slow down the site or will it be okay to keep it disabled? The site shows up correctly when it’s off.Ok Thank you! I finally found the update, it wasn’t showing for me. Not sure what you mean by toggle the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings after the upgrade.
I found the settings, do you mean disable all 3, save and then enable them?
Thank you That worked!
That worked! Thank you so much for helping Jordan! :)
Added to quick css and no change on mobile.
