Hi,
I’m having the same issue with a tab section that has been respecting the settings until yesterday. Could someone please help?
Hi,
I know there is a menu there at the moment, I mentioned that in my last message, that’s the main one, but it’s styled for the desktop, not mobile. I’m only using it for now because nothing else is working.
I’m not using any plugin? It’s a setting in Enfold that allows you to use a different menu for mobiles? I’ve created a second menu but whenever I use anything other than the main one, nothing shows up.
I’ve narrowed down the issue; its whenever I try to change the menu being used for mobile. I’ve tried two different menus but no items come on them. I thought maybe everything was the same colour so I couldn’t see the words but changing the colours in the advanced styling didn’t work either, the only colour that had any effect was the background colour.
I’ve got the main menu on there as a temporary solution but I need to do a mobile menu.Thanks for your help.
Thats odd, not sure why that would be, I’ve not added the security plugins yet?
Could you try again please and let me know if you still have the same issue?Cheers
Hi, thanks for the quick reply, credentials below
November 16, 2020 at 1:52 am in reply to: main content background image hidden behind header #1260610Hi,
It sort of works but of course pushes it off the bottom of the screen in some cases and also is no good for a left side menu. Could you advise how I’d do it to always be in the centre of the main area with the whole image visible?
Cheers
November 12, 2020 at 1:02 am in reply to: main content background image hidden behind header #1260032Hi,
I might have done it but not sure its the right way;.main_color {
background: #ffffff url([URL]) center center no-repeat fixed;
background-size: contain;
background-position-y: 150px;
}Alas, that didn’t seem to have any effect. The same page has a similar issue when you scroll to the bottom and the image of the guy sawing resizes to fit the screen as the URL bar comes back when you scroll up.
I think we may just have to live with it
Thanks anywayHi,
Just FYI, in the video, I’m using the Google browser, not safari. hope that helps your research. Is this something you’ll be able to fix as I can’t ask everyone to find/change settings in Google Chrome iPhone apps :)
Cheers
Thanks for the reply, link to a video (sorry not sure how to screencast on a device) in the private content.
Cheers

December 3, 2019 at 11:33 pm in reply to: Stop featured images cropping in single posts and thumbnails #1162401Hi,
We’re almost there! THats working for the portrait images but its squashing the landscape ones. The same isn’t happening on the gallery page using a masonry gallery.
All I wont to do is have the preview pics for the blogs look like they do on that gallery page.
Cheers

I’m sorry to keep on but I’ve tried everything you’ve suggested but literally nothing changes. I’ve cleared caches everywhee I can find them and regenerated the thumbnails more times than I can count.
The images are showing as I need them too on the Gallery page, I just need the thumbnails in the blog lists and on the single post page to display in the same way.
Really appreciate your patience and help.
Cheers
November 20, 2019 at 10:31 pm in reply to: Stop featured images cropping in single posts and thumbnails #1158619Hi,
I’m talking about the images further down the page (and on the articles page) where the posts featured image is shown. In fact, anywhere the posts featured image is shown.
They look like this
https://snipboard.io/UpW68E.jpgbut my client wants to be able to see the whole image. So the same size container, but the whole image contained inside it without any cropping. If this could be universal across the site, wherever the featured image is displayed, that would be awesome but primarily, when using the blog posts tool in the Aviva layout builder please.
Sorry if I’ve not been clear,
Thank you
November 19, 2019 at 10:06 am in reply to: Stop featured images cropping in single posts and thumbnails #1158080Hi,
Sorry, but nothing has changed from any of these suggestions. Surely this can’t be that hard can it? Just whatever the container size is, make the image fit it with its original aspect ratio….? Can someone please help me, my client is getting a bit grumpy this is taking so long.
Appreciate anything you can do, cheers.

Thats odd, is the correct URL and works fine for me, also works fine in
https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/iwastellingarthur.com
Could you try again please?
http://www.iwastellingarthur.com/Sorry, I wasn’t clear in the original post, I’m talking about the clipping of the images, not the size on the screen.
All the uploaded featured images are a mix of portrait and landscape as well as different dimensions. What I’m trying to do is have them displayed in their correct ratio, with no clipping. So for thumbnails that are set to 100×100, a featured image of 1500×1000 would display as 100×67.
The same would apply to a single post, I don’t want the full 1500×1000 image to be shown as the featured image on the single post, just the whole image, in original aspect ratio, reduced to fit the frame specified.Does that make sense?
May 28, 2018 at 9:20 am in reply to: woocommerce checkout page pauses during load and breaks payment option #963004Im sorry, but why is this a customization job? Something isn’t working in the theme and I need it fixed? Could someone please read this thread from the top and see if they can help me sort this out?
Thank you
May 20, 2018 at 11:32 pm in reply to: woocommerce checkout page pauses during load and breaks payment option #959536Hi,
I’ve given you login details if you want to check these things and speed this up a bit. But yes, it still happens when stripe is deactivated.
Cheers
May 14, 2018 at 11:04 pm in reply to: woocommerce checkout page pauses during load and breaks payment option #956733No, it happens on all browsers but that last time I mentioned, I just happened to be using Edge and it happened to be a longer pause before the refresh.
May 10, 2018 at 9:58 pm in reply to: woocommerce checkout page pauses during load and breaks payment option #954908Hi,
I’ve done that but alas, it has not fixed it, in fact I just tried it on MS Edge and there was about a 7 second pause between the pages first load and second load (where it corrects itself). Any other ideas?
Cheers

May 7, 2018 at 12:15 am in reply to: woocommerce checkout page pauses during load and breaks payment option #952409Hi,
Its been tried in all kinds of browsers – in fact its multiple customers who reported it. Its a pain that it doesn’t happen all the time but you should at least be able to see the page load, then refresh itself. Do you know whats happening when its refreshing itself like this? It only does it when I use Enfold, all other themes it just loads correctly straight away.
May 4, 2018 at 3:28 am in reply to: woocommerce checkout page pauses during load and breaks payment option #951206Hi Victoria,
Sorry, I sent you to the live site which has a modal credit card payment as a work around. Correct details of staging site which has the error (most of the time) below.
When I say double load, I don’t mean everything is displayed twice, I mean the screen loads, then refreshes. When it loads the first time, it displays the credit card area like the screenshot below, then when it refreshes, it shows the credit card area properly. The problem is that it doesn’t always correct the credit card area as it reloads and often the credit card area remains in its first state… unusable. I don’t know what its doing and why its reloading itself?
Can you either give me your IP so I can check if its blocked or just edit a new copy of the file which is part of your theme and send it to me to use?
