Here is the info.
Thx!Hi Yigit,
Thank you so much for changing that code! I don’t think there are any other changes, but I will check to make sure.
I will try get the FTP details to you as soon as possible (today hopefully). Another person in the team has them and I need them to send those details through.
I’ll be in touch as soon as possible,
Chris
Hi Rikard,
Thanks for your reply. I will do a manual update via FTP and let you know if it solves the issue.
Thanks!
Chris
Hi Yigit,
I’m having the same problem as Archie – my theme is stuck in Version 4.4.1. and I can’t get it to update automatically. (In addition, I also actually am having problems with the sticky header – from reading this thread though, it seems that once I solve the update issue, the sticky header issue will automatically resolve itself)).
I’ve posted about this issue here (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/api-key-not-working-for-theme-update/#post-1291064) but haven’t gotten any help yet and I need help fast, as I need to solve this issue for my client.
I’ve tried updating via the dashboard and via theme options, but none have worked. I’m now considering updating manually via FTP, but I’m worried that that will overwrite my customisations. (I have activated the child theme – will that make things safe automatically, or are there other measure I need to take to ensure that nothing gets overwritten?)
Maybe Yigit you could take a look at my back end and make the update yourself? That would help me out a lot! I’ve provided the login details below.
Best,
Chris

I just read this post (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-wont-update-sticky-header-not-working/) which referenced this fix (https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/). Updating via the dashboard and via theme options doesn’t work, so I want to try the manual update via FTP.
My question: The video in the Enfold documentation files doesn’t mention anything about a child theme. Is it safe to do a manual update via FTP or will I overwrite my customisations and changes and have to re-do everything?
One thing that I thought might be the problem:
I saw from the image attached on how to find the API Key that they want the default API key. Could that be the problem, that I asked my client to generate a new API key when he actually needed to send me his default API key?
I’ve asked my client to send me his default API key, but in the meantime I’m trying to sort this out as soon as possible, so I also wanted to post here in case this isn’t the correct solution.Just to note, my client wants the changes to the site to be done within one week, so I have a lot of time pressure, and if I could get a quick solution I would be very grateful!
Thank you!

ChrisSeptember 16, 2020 at 2:14 pm in reply to: Consent Modal – Button placement on mobile very hard to use #1246334Hi everyone,
I’m also experiencing problems with the mobile version of the cookie and privacy settings modal window. The buttons seem to stick to the bottom now, but when you scroll down, the screen cuts off parts of the modal window (and those parts don’t re-appear, so the modal window itself ends up getting smaller and smaller – it looks really gimpy and weird) and it also isn’t possible to scroll down all the way to the bottom on some of the sections of the modal window, so you can’t reach some of the sticky buttons.
Is there a way of fixing / overhauling the mobile version of the cookie modal window?
The phone I’m using is an iPhone 7 (iOS 13.7) and the browser I’m using is Safari.
I’ve added my login info in case that helps (the site is still under construction)
Thanks and best,
Chris
September 16, 2020 at 1:53 pm in reply to: Change hamburger menu colour before fly-out on two specific pages #1246332Also to note:
I adapted this custom CSS from a previous solution I used for another site where I needed to change the colour of the hamburger menu icon for AFTER the fly-out menu comes out (NOT before). So maybe I also made a mistake in the code when adapting it for being beforehand.September 16, 2020 at 12:27 pm in reply to: Avia Layout Builder – screen not scrolling with drag and drop #1246312Hi Rikard,
I updated my child theme and now it’s working perfectly.
Sorry for not thinking about doing that before!Thanks, you can close this thread.

June 15, 2020 at 4:07 pm in reply to: Featured image not showing when sharing URL on social media #1222704Hi Rikard,
This is a bit strange – I’d already tried your suggestion but it hadn’t worked, but now when I tried it again it did work. So now finally everything seems to be working.
Thanks!
Chris
June 3, 2020 at 3:07 pm in reply to: Featured image not showing when sharing URL on social media #1219093So now the issue has been solved for Twitter, but for some reason Facebook, which was working earlier, now is not showing the featured image any longer.
I’ve attempted various solutions (e.g. disabling the open graph metadata for Facebook in the general tab but keeping the featured image for the homepage; or clearing the Facebook image for Yoast on the homepage but keeping the open graph metadata for Facebook in the general tab) but nothing seems to work.I wonder if you could log in and take a look and try solve it?
The goal of what I’m aiming for is: to have the homepage banner image show up on Facebook and Twitter posts when I share the http://www.digitalservicesact.eu link.
Thank you!

Actually, before you close this thread, there’s another problem now …
I will describe it shortly in the next message.

June 3, 2020 at 9:04 am in reply to: Featured image not showing when sharing URL on social media #1218971Hi Rikard,
Ok, I figured out the problem. I was trying to change the general Yoast settings (in the Yoast menu), but when I looked at your image I realised you were changing the local settings for a specific page. I went to my home page and the Twitter tab is just like in your picture. I added the image there, and now it’s working!
Thanks!

June 2, 2020 at 1:44 pm in reply to: Featured image not showing when sharing URL on social media #1218770Hi Rikard,
I did set up the Yoast Twitter tab as much as was possible. The Twitter tab in Yoast works from the Facebook tab as a base. What I mean is, it say on the Yoast Twitter tab: “Twitter uses Open Graph metadata just like Facebook, so be sure to keep the “Add Open Graph meta data” setting on the Facebook tab enabled if you want to optimize your site for Twitter.” And on the Facebook tab I have set the featured image.
Also on the Twitter tab it has the option to set up the Twitter card, which I’ve done. Here it has the option either to use just a summary, or a summary with large image, and I have gone for the summary with large image option. It doesn’t allow you to designate which image is used though, so I assume it must take this data from the Facebook tab.I have taken two screenshots and shared them under this link:

May 26, 2020 at 9:44 pm in reply to: Featured image not showing when sharing URL on social media #1216695Hi Rikard,
Thank you for the tip!
I already had Yoast installed, but hadn’t really used it, so I went to my Yoast tab and was able to get the featured image to show when sharing to Facebook. Thanks!
However, it isn’t showing on Twitter, and I can’t figure out why. I’ve enabled the Open Graph meta data setting on the Facebook tab inside the Yoast plugin, which works as a foundational setting on the Yoast plugin for all the other social media platforms, and on the Twitter tab I’ve enabled the Twitter card meta data, using “summary with large image” as the default card type to be used.
As far as I can see, there are no other settings for me to enable on Yoast, and yet the featured image still isn’t showing up on Twitter.
Any suggestions?
Thank You Victoria!

February 13, 2019 at 12:26 pm in reply to: Mobile (hamburger) colour change in Fly-out menu and Search icon colour change #1066456Hi Nikko,
Thanks so much for your work on this – I appreciate it!
Unfortunately though, while problems 1 and 2 from the very top (my first post) are sorted out, the search icon is still showing as white (i.e. you can’t see it) when the fly-out menu is open on the mobile phone. (see my third post in this thread on January 29, 2019 at 3:53 pm)
I’m sorry thst stil problem is still persisting!
Maybe there’s a code somehwere in my Quick CSS that is clashing?February 13, 2019 at 12:22 pm in reply to: Easy slider caption title and text alignment on mobile screens #1066452Thank you Nikko!
It’s working perfectly, like a charm!
I really appreciate the help.
So, there is one small thing that still needs a tweak – on the homepage, on the tablet in landscape mode, the caption text (below the caption title) goes off the bottom of the banner. This is only for the tablet in landscape mode. And it’s only for the hompage, and the reason is that there’s a little bit more text on the homepage banner.
So, I think I know how one can solve this poblem, but I’m not sure what the code for it would look like. I think you would need to write a code that specifically targets the tablet landscape mode screen width (and no other screen widths) and let the caption title and caption text extend a little further along the page – i.e let the caption title only take up two lines instead of three, by letting the lines be a little longer.
Does that make sense?
Would you be able to tell me what code could accomplish that?
Thanks so much!
After this fix, then everything will finally be sorted out :)Hi Ismael,
Thanks so much for making that change!
However, it doesn’t seemed to have helped :/
I even edited your code to take the max width down to 50% and even 30%, but there was no change.
I cleared the caches on both my tablet and mobile phone as well.February 11, 2019 at 1:18 pm in reply to: Enfold masonry gallery – disable caption excerpt (mobile phone only) #1065414Hi Viktoria,
It worked perfectly. Thanks so much!

February 11, 2019 at 1:12 pm in reply to: Mobile (hamburger) colour change in Fly-out menu and Search icon colour change #1065413Hi Nikko,
Thanks for your response.
I pasted in your code, and while it worked for making the search icon black on the fly-out menu, it also made it black before the fly-out menu comes out (which doesn’t work for me as it’s now too difficult to see against the background of my mage banner
I modified the code to this:@media only screen and (max-width:767px) {
#top #header #menu-item-search a:before {
color: white !important;
}
#top #header #menu-item-search a:after{
color: black !important;
}
}… but that just made it white before and still white afterwards (which is the original problem).
Any more suggestions?
Thanks so much for your help on this!
February 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm in reply to: Easy slider caption title and text alignment on mobile screens #1065409Hi Nikko,
now it’s my turn to apologise for the delay on my end.
Thanks for your response – I replaced that code, cleared the caches on my tablet and mobile phone, and had a look, but the problem still persists.
Perhaps you’d like to take a look at my back-end yourself?
I just set up a temporary login for a moderator (Vinay) to use on another forum topic that I have running – I can give you the URL too if you’de like.
BestHi Vinay,
Sorry for the delayed reply.
Thank you!
I’ve created the temporary login and will give you the link in the private content area.
Thanks again, appreciate your help!
