Hi Rikard,
It doesn’t seem to make any difference.
I should explain the follwing:The WELCOME page is set in ENFOLD to be the landing page
The HOME page is set in ENFOLD to be the BLOG, showing the newest entry.I tried changing the home into welcome in the css, but still no change…
StevoHi Jordan – apologies!
Added into Private below…Stevo :-)
FABULOUS!!!
Job done :-)Thank you so much Ismael
SteveIs there any chance of a reply on this one please?
Many thanks
Stevo :-)Thank you Ismael. Appreciated:-)
Yes – the menu was made smaller to prevent the need for a scroll bar, but as the additions continue, this CSS code will still be very useful!
Regards
Stevo 😊Hi there,
I have included a screenshot link to Dropbox in your Private Content.
This shows the dropdown menu – off of the main menu – which is already successfully scrolling (using the CSS code above).
I would like to add some CSS to have the scrollbar in that dropdown menu showing all the time, rather than just when you begin to scroll.
This will allow users to see that there are more items to scroll through.
Many thanks
SteveHave you installed and activated the CLASSIC EDITOR plugin…?
This should alleviate much of the issue for you, as it restores the former editor system that Enfold uses.

Would you please mind making this process clear for us all?
I’m not quite sure of the steps carried out here…Many. many thanks
Stevo :-)Hi Yigit,
2 questions related to the above:
* Is it best to delay updating to WP5 until we have that patch for Enfold?
* Will we still need to use the Classic Editor Plugin for now regardless?Thank you
StevoDecember 5, 2018 at 8:11 am in reply to: PERFORMANCE – Removing file merging and compression #1041091Hi there,
I’ve cancelled the username, as that particular issue has resolved itself – there was a form error!
However, could you just let us know a bit about this minification/compression:
Is it easy to undo once you have set this up?
Will it cause any issues with code?Thank you guys :-)
December 4, 2018 at 11:16 pm in reply to: PERFORMANCE – Removing file merging and compression #1040989Thank you. Details added in private.
I should mention that it only seems to be happening on the page mentioned, and that this is the only page that has been created since the minify & compression changes were made to PERFORMANCE.

December 4, 2018 at 11:37 am in reply to: PERFORMANCE – Removing file merging and compression #1040677ps. I also selected to use ‘Disable Shortcode Processing‘ for the code block, but this didn’t help either.

Hi Rikard,
Is the CLASSIC EDITOR plugin going to allow a fully functioning ENFOLD template, and, just as importantly, WOOCOMMERCE to function in that unchanged environment?
(…which is where the money is for many of us, and especially for our clients!)
Thanks for your time
StevoMy Instagram has gone down on ALL SITES since ENFOLD update – just to let you know.
March 15, 2018 at 2:19 pm in reply to: recent update woo simple product with addon timing out #927341It seems it’s fixed ready for the next update Ismael. I’ll await that I think, seeing as it’s fixed for now…
Thank you
StevoMarch 15, 2018 at 8:37 am in reply to: recent update woo simple product with addon timing out #927128Product buttons are used, but they were there already – nothing was changed on this site in woocommerce prior to the update.

March 12, 2018 at 9:46 pm in reply to: recent update woo simple product with addon timing out #925728Thanks Basilis.
PLEASE NOTE: I personally resolved the issue by going into each product, changing from advanced editor back to default, then back to advanced, and saving the product page again. This worked 100% on Apache & NGINX.
:-)
March 9, 2018 at 11:07 pm in reply to: recent update woo simple product with addon timing out #924789No Kahil – sounds like it’s making the issue worse!
I resolved it myself by going into each product, changing from advanced editor back to default, then back to advanced, and saving the product page again. Problem gone.
This worked for me on every single site so far.
I have no idea however what the real issue is, which is why I posted here….

March 9, 2018 at 10:19 pm in reply to: recent update woo simple product with addon timing out #924770Basilis – you misunderstand me!
I didn’t say I wouldn’t, I meant that I hadn’t yet!I mentioned that it didn’t seem useful as it was happening on 3 different server setups, including WP Engine.
I will clear cache shortly on WP Engine, then I’ll need to re-update ENFOLD to 4.2.6, and see if this works. I will then report back here.
I am leaving this until Monday as the client has big sales going on.
I hope some research into all the other complaints on this issue is happening though, as I’m not convinced it’s just about ‘cache’.
Regards
StevoMarch 8, 2018 at 9:28 pm in reply to: recent update woo simple product with addon timing out #924091Hi Basilis – No, I am not clearing cache.
I don’t think this will work as the problem is occuring universally on WooCommerce sites where advanced products are used.
The only difference on WPEngine being that it throws a 502 error immediately, rather than hanging in white space.Stevo

March 8, 2018 at 8:28 am in reply to: recent update woo simple product with addon timing out #923641ps. Another site is on WP Engine, using NGINX I believe.
March 7, 2018 at 9:03 pm in reply to: recent update woo simple product with addon timing out #923315Hi Basilis,
It is Apache (1&1).
I use Wordfence security, but that no longer uses caching (I’m pretty sure). But this did happen on every single woocommerce site, where Advanced Editor was used.

RESOLVED – Thank you Yigit
(didn’t notice this was still at 5.4)
PHP7 upgrade :-)March 6, 2018 at 8:42 pm in reply to: recent update woo simple product with addon timing out #922493UPDATE: I have noticed that if I edit the product and do the following:
* Switch to DEFAULT EDITOR (instead of ADVANCED LAYOUT EDITOR)
* Save
* Switch back to ADVANCED LAYOUT EDITOR
* Save
* View product page…the problem has disappeared, and the product will display again.
The problem being that you’d need to do this with EVERY product!Any thoughts on this ENFOLD peeps?

I am going through exactly the same issue with sites using WOOCOMMERCE ADD-ONS.
(sites without add-ons – no problem, those with WooCommerce add-ons – big problemos!)There is a definite BUG here when used with WooCommerce Add-Ons.
I get either a TIMEOUT or 502 ERROR.
If I restore the previous version – no problems.
I also switched to a default theme – no issues.
The Enfold update 4.2.5 is triggering this issueENFOLD CHAPS – PLEASE CAN YOU HELP?
Stevo :-)* * RESOLVED * *
Hi Chaps – posted in case anyone else stumbles into this:I had a setting in an app installed in FIREFOX checked
The app: Adblock PLUS
The setting: ‘Block social media icons tracking’I unchecked that – all the icons reappeared.
CASE CLOSED :-)Cheers
SteveHi Nikko,
I have put up some (private) screengrabs to illustrate this.
It’s all the social icons on the entire site – header and footer in this case.
The Firefox version is the very latest: 57.0.4 (64-bit)You’ll note they disappear entirely on the FIREFOX version.
(Yet all fine in Safari, and Chrome)Any thoughts?
Steve- This reply was modified 6 years, 11 months ago by Steve.
Hi Ismael – they’re NOT background images, they are images placed inside a section.
That is why I asked about image sizing, as I want the sections to be equal heights.
(If I just stretched as a bg photo – it is warped. I don’t want that either!)Also , do you have a snippet of QUICK CSS code to make the sections stretch full-width
Stevo :-)
