Thanks for the update. What happens if you upload a fresh copy of the theme? You can upload it as if it was new, and don’t forgot to backup your theme settings before doing this.

You should update the theme as soon as possible. The update to 6.0.6 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or upload the theme as if it was new under Appearance->Themes->Add New Theme.
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/. You can run any recent PHP version once you have updated.

That file is a default WordPress file, it won’t be overwritten on updates. Note that the notices are not pointing to any theme files, it might be caused by an old PHP version or a plugin.

Thanks for the update. I see that Mailpoet is deactivated now, so I can’t see the problem. We can’t really say what the problem could be though if all you see is the critical error notice, we would need something more, like error logs. If you are getting critical errors, then that should leave something in your error logs. Could you try reaching out to your hosting provider to see if they can get you more info please?
