    hi there – please see my site http://www.c4journal.com

    I’m trying to add a new item – ‘Shop’ – to the existing menu in the header at the top of the site. The existing menu, as you can see, already contains Home, Archive, About, and MATCAxC4

    This shout be straightforward, but I’m struggling! In Appearance–>Menu, the options to ‘Add New Menu Item’ are greyed out, and the only option available is to create a new menu – which makes the old one disappear. Can anyone help? Sorry, trying to add a screenshot but i don’t seem to be able to.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. You haven’t created any menus at all, the theme will display all published pages in the menu if no menus exist. Please try creating a new menu and assign it as the main menu under Apperance->Menus.

    Hi Rikard,

    so if no menus have been created, all published pages will automatically display in the upper right hand corner?

    I had tried this last week – publishing a draft ‘shop’ page to see if it appeared – but it did not show up in the menu.

    Yes that is correct. A draft is not a published page.

    yes, i understand that a draft is not a published page. we created a ‘test’ page for the shop, and published it – but it did not show up in the menu.
