You likely have open html markup in your content just before where elements are disappearing, please check for anything like that. If you need further help, then please include admin WordPress login details in private and let us know how to reproduce the results that you are seeing on your end.

Hi,

Thanks for the clarification. That is the reason I suggested CSS to activate the mobile menu at an earlier point, there’s not enough room to accomodate all the menu items on smaller screen sizes.

Hey Leo,

If the critical error is triggered by code in your child theme, then you need to remove all the code from the child and update the PHP version after that. Then you can add the blocks of code from your child back one by one to see what triggers the critical error.

Thanks for that. The jQuery error is gone now, but the page you linked to is looking very strange. It has two scrollbars for example, and a gigantic footer. Are we allowed to temporarily deactivate plugins?

Hi,

You can try to update the PHP version as it’s outdated anyway, but I don’t think that it causes the jQuery error. Please try clearing all the cache from your caching plugins and leave them deactivated for a while to see what happens then. Also, I’m not sure why you would need 3 separate caching/optimisation plugins? I would suggest that you chose one of them and remove the others.

If you haven’t added any content to the widgets then they are automatically populated by the theme. Once you add your own content, then that will be visible instead.
