Please try assigning a custom class to your grids in the Advanced tab, then try CSS like this in Quick CSS:

.your-custom-class .flex_cell {
    padding: 10px;
}

Replace your-custom-class, with the class you added to the element options.

Thanks for the update and clarification, I understand the problem better now. I activated debug mode on your installation, and moved your content to a test page. The first one broke like your page did, so I tried copying each text block in manually in a second test page. This content seems to be causing the problem:

I tried removing the quotes in this text: ‘Time to Dance’, and that seems to have worked. Could you check and verify that behaviour on your end as well please? I’m not sure why those quotes are causing problems, but you would try replacing them with the regular single quote characters instead: ‘

Thanks for the update. I tried reproducing the problem on your site, but I was not able to. I edited and saved the front page 5 times, and it worked as expected every time. I’m not sure if there’s anything we can do about this, since it’s not a general problem with the theme. I’m guessing that most likely due to some intermittent problem with your hosting environment. The error message you are referring to is generated by the browser, and it’s basically saying that the server closed the connection.

Thanks for the update. I see that you are overriding the full screen slider in your child theme, and it’s working as it should when I activate the parent theme. Please try replacing the files in the shortcodes folder in your child theme with the parent theme files. You can add your customisations back in after that.
