Hey justdima,
The shop page cannot be edited with the Layout Builder, that is why it’s disabled.
If you need further help with the LayerSlider problem, then please post admin WordPress login details in private, and let us know how to reproduce the problem.
Best regards,
RikardHi Tanja,
Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.9.2.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If not, then please post admin WordPress login details in private.
Best regards,
RikardHi,
Thanks for the update. I tried adding coordinates manually to a Maps element on a test page, and that seems to be working as it should. I can’t see any error messages either, which is a bit strange. Does it make any difference if you deactivate all plugins?
Best regards,
RikardHi Salvatore,
Great, I’m glad that you found the problem. We can’t debug unsupported third party plugins unfortunately, could you try reaching out to the plugin authors for further support please? You could also try looking for an alternative plugin.
Best regards,
RikardHey Claudia,
Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
.html_header_top.html_bottom_nav_header #header_main_alternate .main_menu { float: none; }Best regards,
RikardApril 4, 2022 at 9:15 am in reply to: new version of enfold broke site with Events Calendar Pro #1347102Hi Paul,
Which version did you update from? The support period is only valid for 6 months, after that it has to be renewed.
Best regards,
RikardHi,
Thanks for the update. It looks like the staging site has the default layout, and the live site has been customised in some way. How exactly did you customise the live site? You might have overridden the default WooCommerce template, or altered it with one or more plugins?
You can check the default layout on the demo page in private, it looks very similar to your staging site. https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-shop/checkout/
Best regards,
RikardHi,
I’m not sure to be honest with you, but it might be your security plugin which is blocking the traffic. Could you try to install and configure this plugin, to see if that works better please? https://envato.com/market-plugin/
Best regards,
RikardHi,
Thanks for that. I’ve added the new versions of header.php and footer.php to your child theme, and it’s working as it should now. If you need to access the old files, then they are still in the child theme, called __header.php and __footer.php. If you don’t need the old files, then you can delete them both.

You will need to replace header.php and footer.php in your child theme with the parent theme files. If you need help with that, then please include admin WordPress and FTP login details in private.

Thanks for the update. Did you read my first message?
Are you overriding footer.php or header.php in a child theme? If so, then please try to replace those files with the parent theme files, then add your customisations back in after that.
If you need further help with this, then please include admin WordPress and FTP login details in private.

RikardHi,
Thanks for that. The .htaccess and WordPress login details are working, but the FTP details are not. Please check and verify them, then post again. Also make sure to include the host address.

RikardHi,
Thanks for the update. I’m not sure if I fully understand the problem you are having, but if you are referring to the excerpt, then that has to be added manually to each post if you are using the theme Layout Builder. Please refer to the screenshot Nikko posted. If you are using the Classic Editor, then the Excerpt field can be activated under Screen Options in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Thanks for that. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.9.2.1) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.9.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/Best regards,

RikardHi,
This CSS seems to be hiding the images:
.yith-wcbm-css-badge-50642 div.yith-wcbm-css-s1 { width: 0; height: 0; border-right: 65px solid #e0004d; border-bottom: 65px solid transparent; z-index: 12; }You can try to override it with something like this:
.yith-wcbm-css-badge-50642 div.yith-wcbm-css-s1 { border-right: 0; border-bottom: 0; }I checked the URL in private, but I actually think it looks better on your staging site. If you want some custom CSS, then please let us know exactly what you would like to change.
Best regards,
RikardHi Matt,
Thanks for that. I see that you haven’t added the key under Enfold->Google Services, could you try that first of all please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/google-map/#how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key
Best regards,
RikardHey welti,
Please try this in your functions.php file:
function change_geburtstag_placeholder_text(){ ?> <script> jQuery(document).ready(function($) { $('#input_38_51').attr('placeholder','yyyy.mm.dd'); }); </script> <?php } add_action('wp_footer', 'change_geburtstag_placeholder_text');Best regards,
