I can’t reproduce this problem on a test installation, and we haven’t had any other reports of this problem from other users, so it’s likely that the problem is local to your site. If it works when the parent theme is active, then it’s likely that something in your child theme is causing this to happen. If you should need further help from us, then please share server error logs with us.

Thanks for the login details. Are you overriding header.php or footer.php in your child theme? If so, then please try to replace those files with the parent theme files, then add your customisations back in after that. If you need further help, then please include FTP login details in private.

I’m not sure which image you are referring to since there’s no slider on the about page. I’m guessing that you mean the top section with the background image? If so, then I would recommend that you try to use an image which is at least 1500 pixels wide.

The version you are running is not compatible with newer PHP versions, updating should hopefully resolve the problem though. All you should have to do is to update the theme, you don’t have to rebuild the site. https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.
