Your actual page looks reversed from the screenshot you posted, not sure what going on there? Could you link directly to the page where you got the screenshot from maybe?

A child theme file will override any WordPress file like functions.php, header.php, single.php etc, but not theme specific files.

That is the default behaviour when using full width element like Color Section or Grid Row, please use a 1/1 container element instead.
