Thanks for the screenshots. It looks like this is added to your Quick CSS and it’s causing your images to look like that:

.slide-image img {
    height: 300px!important;
    width: 100%!important;
    background-size: cover!important;
}

Could you try to locate it and remove it please? That should hopefully work.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean, but I’m guessing you are looking to create something like you already have on the site? You have used the Full Width slider there, you can also try to set your image as a background in the Color Section element.

It should, but it can’t be guaranteed of course. To make absolutely sure then you would have to screenshot each page and compare the before and after states, visual regression testing is fancy name for it. My advice would be to at least have proper backups in case you should need to roll back the site.

Hi Franz,

Your content should be safe if you overwrite the theme files, to make sure your content is safe you can create backups of your site in case something should go wrong. You should probably also try to copy your site to a staging area or local installation so that you have somewhere to develop and experiment with the site.
