The first thing I would recommend that you do to speed up your site would be to add a caching plugin, I have recently had very good experiences with WOT Cache.

If you would like to hire someone to speed up your site for you then I would recommend that you contact a service like SteadyWP.

The version of the theme you are running is very old, I would recommend that you upgrade to the latest version which is 4.2: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

After that you can use this in Quick CSS:

Could you try to activate debug mode: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/, and then copy the shortcodes from the regular editor into the shortcode window under the theme builder to see if that works?
