Please try this in Quick CSS for your header:
```
#header_main .container {
  max-width:100% !important;
}
```
For your slider; please try to place it in the Layout without a containing element, in this case you have it inside of a Color Section.

It’s doing that because you are using full width elements on the page, in this case a Color Section. Please try adding your content to a 1/1 element instead.
