Hey jkos,
You can upload images to an array of different services online. For example Google Drive, Dropbox, Imgur, Snipboard etc. Then you can link to the image in your reply.

Are you sure that you are using the correct file? The package that you download from Themeforest might have to be unpacked on your local machine, then use enfold.zip located in the extracted file.

The update to 7.1.1 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or upload the theme as if it was new under Appearance->Themes->Add New Theme.
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

You can edit the excerpt in the Exerpt field. If you can’t see it, then select to show it under Screen Options in the top right hand corner of the screen while editing a post.

1. You can modify the demos as you see fit, you can freely remove and add content.

Thanks for the update. I didn’t see any difference when all plugins were deactivated and the parent theme was active on my end either. I do see a 500 internal server error on the WordPress file in private, why that I’m not sure of though. Could you share server error logs with us please? You might want to reach out to your hosting provider as well, to check if they know why the server is returning an error on that file.
