Oke, I found the solution myself: I am building this new website on a subdomain and on the main domain Wordfence security was blocking the iframe!
So I whitelisted the action in Wordfence in the main domain, and now it’s working on the subdomain too!
However, that leaves me with one question: can I use the Google Maps iframe code without an Google Api key and without paying for it? It seems the answer is yes, because it is up and running now. But I am confused, because I read a lot of stuff about having to use the Api key?
Anyone can clear that up for me?
I notioced today that on 1 of my Enfold websites the automatic update function is working fine, on antoher website it’s not working. Both websites are on the same webhost, even on the samne server, and share the same plugins.
So it seems the problem is not related to the webhost?
Hello Vinay,
So what you basicly are saying is that this issue can not be solved and I am not able to use the automatic update function in Enfold…?
Hello, I have disbaled Wordfence and it still doesn’t work. I then also disabled all plugins and still no Enfold update.
How to proceed?
Thank you,
AlwinOke, I will send then now.
Yers, but still no update option…
Hi Jordan,
Yes, I placed in to the very top of my custom child theme css file.
But it does not work..
Regards,
AlwinThank you for your help Rikard, but this code does not help either…
I have build another site with Enfold (www.optiion.nl) wich shows the same problem.
Thank you Rikard,
The white box is smaller now but still not gone…

Here is the screenshot:
https://snag.gy/s75VtZ.jpgIt’s about the white box between the grey text box and the green footer. This withe box is best visible when you resize the browser on a desktop monitor. At some point you will see the white box. I have seen it on tablets in portrait view too.
Hello Jordan, how can I upload a screenshot? Don’t see any option for that?
Thank you Mike. I quess that because I am using a Child theme thet I always have to uodate using the ftp method? Because updating from the wordpress dashboard will overrwite my child theme settings, correct?
In other words: there is no other update option when using a child theme?
Thank you,
AlwinHello, I still have the same question :)
I am using a child theme and when I upgrade a new Enfold version I use the FTP method.
In the instructions I read that I have to delete the complete Enfold map and then upload the new Enfold map. Is that really the only way or can I just overwrite the old files with the new files?
Hallo Peter,
Thank you for your help.
I have to place this code in my functions.php in my child theme, correct?
Can I use this together with the code I already placed in functions.php?Alwin
Did you get last message?
Thanks,
AlwinHey Jordan,
Thank you, but this does not work. No difference at all. Strange thing is that even on a iPad with 768px width (portrait) the mobile menu is not displayed.
In Enfolds settings I set Menu Items for mobile at 990px. Does not seem to make a different either?I searched a lot on this forum and it seems tat when using the left side menu instead of an “normal” header this is a know issue in the Enfold theme?
There must be some way to use a left menu design and just display the mobile menu only on tablets I hope…?

Hello,
I think I am not using the LayerSlider at all. Can you please check http://www.online-hrm-tools.nl ? Can you confirm me that I am not using LayerSlider functionality?
I am asking this because I want to remove the LayerSlider plugin if I am not using it!
I am getting messages that the LayerSlider plugin must be updated but it is not listed in my plugins page so how can I update this plugin then?
And how can I remove the plugin?
Thank you.
Alwin
Hi Andy,
My question is not about this plugins anymore. I have deleted them now. The problem is that the 2 errors like “Avia tooltip is not a contructor” are still there. These errors seems to be related to the theme?
So what does it mena “Avia tooltip is not a contructor” and what can I do to solve this?
Thank you!Alwin
Hello my friends from Kriesi, is anyone going to help me with this please? Thank you!
Can you help me with this one please?
Thank you Yigit. So I know now that it has nothing to do with the Enfold theme. I am going to try find the issue that is creating this problem somewhere else in my settings.
Thank you Rikard!
So if I understand it correctly then in the Text editor it is possible to change some HTML code.
And it is possible to add HTML code?But it is not possible to add js code?
Hey Rikard,
No error messages, but the plugin is not working. I use this plugin on 6 other sites without problems. Now I used Enfold theme for the first time (and I like it a lot!) but I have a problem using this plugin.
I am able to install the plugin and activate the plugin. After activating the plugin there should be a settings tab but this does simple not show up. So I can’t edit the settings and therefore can’t use the plugin.
Any change this has something to do with the Enfold theme?
Hello Vinay,
Thank you. Just to be sure before I mess up the site. This is how my style.css in my child theme looks like now:
/*
Theme Name: Enfold Child Theme
Theme URI: http://www.online-hrm-tools.nl
Description: Child Theme for online-hrm-tools
Author: Optiion Webdesign Groningen
Author URI: http://www.optiion.nl
Template: enfold
Version: 1.0.0
*Now, can I just add the code from the quick settings under this code? Then it would look like this:
/*
Theme Name: Enfold Child Theme
Theme URI: http://www.online-hrm-tools.nl
Description: Child Theme for online-hrm-tools
Author: Optiion Webdesign Groningen
Author URI: http://www.optiion.nl
Template: enfold
Version: 1.0.0
*/@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) {
nav.main_menu {display:none !important;}
#advanced_menu_toggle, #advanced_menu_hide {display:block !important;}
}.html_header_mobile_behavior #mobile-advanced span > a:before{ top: 0px; }
#mobile-advanced ul{margin:0; padding:0; display: block; width:100%; left:0; position: relative;}
#mobile-advanced a , #mobile-advanced .mega_menu_title{padding:13px 28px; border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-width:1px; width:100%; display:block; margin:0; text-decoration: none; position: relative; cursor: pointer; }
#mobile-advanced ul a, #mobile-advanced .mega_menu_title{padding-left:50px;}
#mobile-advanced ul ul a{padding-left:80px;}
#mobile-advanced ul ul ul a{padding-left:110px;}
#mobile-advanced ul ul ul ul a{padding-left:140px;}/*mega menu fixes*/
#mobile-advanced .avia-bullet{display:none;}
#mobile-advanced .avia_mega_div{width:100%; margin:0; float: none;}
#mobile-advanced .mega_menu_title a{padding:0; border:none;}
#mobile-advanced .avia_mega_text_block{display:none;}#advanced_menu_toggle, #advanced_menu_hide{position: absolute;border-radius: 2px;height: 46px;width: 46px;line-height: 46px;text-decoration: none;text-align: center;right: 2%;top: 50%;margin-top: -23px;z-index: 10000;border-style:solid;border-width: 1px;font-size: 30px;display:none;}
.bottom_nav_header #advanced_menu_toggle{top:40px;}
#advanced_menu_hide{
z-index: 10050;
visibility: hidden;
opacity: 0;
top: 44px;
right: 23px;
}That’s all? Is this the correct way to do it?
Or is it also important how the functions.php looks like:<?php
/*
* Add your own functions here. You can also copy some of the theme functions into this file.
* WordPress will use those functions instead of the original functions then.
*/function wp_change_aviajs() {
wp_dequeue_script( ‘avia-shortcodes’ );
wp_enqueue_script( ‘avia-shortcodes-child’, get_stylesheet_directory_uri().’/js/shortcodes.js’, array(‘jquery’), 2, true );
}
add_action( ‘wp_print_scripts’, ‘wp_change_aviajs’, 100 );Thank you for your help!
Hey Basilis,
If that’s the way WordPress works with the HTML Text editor, than what is the use of this text editor anyway?
Sorry, I just don’t understand that..
Thanks, it works fine now!
I have finished building the site now.
I have used a child theme but I did the most editing by adding css code in the quick section in the Enfold Child Theme settings.
Can I leave the css code there, or is it better to copy the code the the style.css in my child theme folder?
Hey Rikard,
This is the site I am working at:
Now when you go with your mouse to the page “Diensten” you see the submenu with 2 extra pages. I don’t like the fact that the submenu is on the right side. I want to submenu positioned directly under the parent page (so under Diensten).
When you look at this site in mobile view, then the subpages are placed under the parent page. Exactly what I want to achieve in the desktop/non mobile view.
