Hey JEFFIRE,
Please increase your memory limit to 128M.
Here’s how you can increase it: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/increasing-the-wordpress-memory-limit/Best regards,
NikkoHi B,
That warning points to the js files that are dependent of jQuery migrate, which has been removed from WordPress during the major version release (5.5).
What version of Enfold are you using?
If you’re using Enfold 4.7.6.3 then please flush out the cache and clear the browser cache since it’s already been patched.
If it’s Enfold 4.7.6.1 and below then you’ll need to update it to the latest version since it’s using jQuery migrate.
Once you have updated to the latest version of Enfold then you should be able to safely deactivate and remove the jQUery migrate helper plugin.Best regards,
NikkoHi shihanze,
Thanks, I will look into it but I’m not an expert with servers, I’ll just try to find whatever I can get to help with the issue.
We’ll wait for the credentials then.Best regards,

NikkoHi annepizarro,
Thanks for creating the staging site and giving us admin access.
The original uploaded image that’s being fetched is already removed in the uploads folder (the only ones remaining are the cropped ones).
I tried to use a different image and it works properly, you’ll just need to re-upload those images and it should work properly.Best regards,
NikkoSeptember 18, 2020 at 7:25 am in reply to: icons / images disappeared from the ALB editor after updating to 4.7.6.3 #1246670Hi oholm,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
I have checked it and noticed that the images have been corrupted, I have replaced the ones in the builder.
Clear the browser cache and you’ll see it get fixed now.
However, I would recommend to re-install Enfold as there are lots of those icons in different folders that are corrupted as well.Best regards,
NikkoHi shihanze,
I have inspected it further and I think the problem is within your server.
I was getting 404 Error (Not Found) in admin-ajax in the console when trying to Save.
I tried to do some tweaks in Appearance > Theme Editor to check what’s causing it but I could edit anything except CSS files.
Switching to default WordPress theme doesn’t work as well and the same issue still persists.
To know what I’m talking about, please do the following:- In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Appearance > Themes, switch to TwentyTwenty
- Go to Appearance > Editor, select Theme Header (header.php) (located on the sidebar)
- Right-click on any part of the page the click Inspect then click the Console tab
- In header.php (line 3), add a single dot (or any text) after * Header file for the Twenty Twenty WordPress default theme. (this won’t affect the site as it’s just a comment/note)
- Click Update File button
You should get this message:
Something went wrong. Your change may not have been saved. Please try again. There is also a chance that you may need to manually fix and upload the file over FTP.But in the console, it will say this (changed website name):
POST https://website.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 404 (Not Found)Re-installing your WordPress version didn’t fix or even using a file manager plugin to replace files didn’t work as well.
Please try to talk with your hosting provider regarding the issue (you can use the default WordPress theme just to prove that it isn’t a theme issue but server settings issue or a security one.Best regards,
NikkoHi manuel,
We’re happy to hear that :)
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!Best regards,
NikkoHi jstonestreet,
We’re glad to hear that :)
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!Best regards,
NikkoHi Alan,
I’m not really sure what you’re trying to achieve but if you’re trying to do like some excerpts and then read more button for pages, then you’ll most likely just use the Button element and add the link manually.
Best regards,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,
NikkoHey Lene,
Can you update Enfold to the latest version (4.7.6.3)?
There are similar issues like you have that has been resolved through updating to the latest version.
Try to update Enfold manually via FTP or cPanel: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-theme/#reinstall-or-update-using-ftp
I would suggest cPanel since it’s a lot faster than FTP.Best regards,
NikkoHey flavoursmedia,
Can you try to add the code via hooks?
Please follow the instructions here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/add-custom-js-or-php-script/#add-a-script-to-footer-sectionBest regards,
NikkoHi jcreklamy,
No worries, we’re glad to hear that :)
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!Best regards,
NikkoHi James,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
I have checked your site and noticed there’s a js error in the console.
And it most likely due to Enfold is already outdated (3.8.4), you need to update it to 4.7.6.3 and also PHP version (5.6), please update it to 7.3 after Enfold is updated.
The issue is most likely due to compatibility.Best regards,

NikkoSeptember 17, 2020 at 2:50 pm in reply to: Enfold site seems to overload the server every time I try to edit a page #1246546Hi Marcel,
Can you try this method of updating Enfold:
- Login to ThemeForest and download the Enfold theme.
- Right-click over the downloaded zip file and extract/unzip it.
- It should generate a new folder, open it and look for the enfold folder
- Right-click the enfold folder then zip it, here’s a tutorial on how to create a zip file in windows: https://www.howtogeek.com/668409/how-to-zip-and-unzip-files-on-windows-10/ (this should create enfold.zip)
- Log in to WordPress as and Admin.
- Install and activate this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
- Go to Appearance > Themes.
- Click on the ADD NEW button.
- Click on the UPLOAD THEME button.
- Click BROWSE and choose enfold.zip file
- Click the INSTALL NOW button

NikkoHi Jeff,
The shopping cart does require Woocommerce, but I believe that’s the only requirement.
Can you give us access and link to the login of the staging site? so we can try to investigate further there.Best regards,
NikkoHi danielsami,
Thanks, I tried it again however I’m still getting the same error.
Most common issue with this is increasing memory limit, however it with the number of plugins installed 256MB should be more than enough.
I’m not also very familiar with PCRE JIT but it may be the key to resolving the issue.
I don’t think the issue could be resolved quickly since the cause is hard to figure out and most likely some issues with server settings, would it be okay if we just add the pages manually instead?Best regards,
NikkoHi rachelryerson,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
I noticed that your WordPress is using the latest version (5.5.1) while Enfold is already outdated (3.7.1), the current version is 4.7.6.3 which contains patches for WP 5.5.
Please update Enfold to the latest version as well and don’t forget to have a backup.Best regards,
NikkoHi shihanze,
Thanks, I see you are using PHP 5.6, can you try to switch to PHP version 7.3?
Let us know if this helps.Best regards,
NikkoHi visualabmedia,
Thanks, you’re site is now working using Enfold 4.7.6.3, WordPress 5.5.1 and PHP 7.2
The Blank Screen after updating is caused by THB Portfolio plugin (deactivated this plugin).
LayerSlider WP is also causes some warnings because it’s not updated and still 5.5.0, since it doesn’t seem to be used it’s deactivated as well.
WP Downgrade | Specific Core Version is also deactivated (preventing updates)
Chimpy is causing a minor warnings as well, but I haven’t deactivated since it can be ignored and also I’m not sure if it’s used.
You can change passwords now and remove temporary admin access.Best regards,
NikkoSeptember 17, 2020 at 11:50 am in reply to: Enfold site seems to overload the server every time I try to edit a page #1246490Hi Marcel,
The error says the purchases could not be accessed, username could not be accessed as well as the email.
I believe the permission you gave is not sufficient.- View and search Envato sites (checked by default)
- View your Envato account username
- View your email address
- View your account profile details
- Download your purchased items
- Verify purchases of your item
- List purchases you’ve made
Best regards,
NikkoHi Hain,
Please file a refund request at ThemeForest/Envato as they handle all the sales-related matter.
We try to approve them as soon as they get sent to us by Envato, so please be patient, it will go through eventually if it’s approved by Envato.Best regards,
NikkoHi top1projects,
You’re welcome. :)
Please add this as well:@media only screen and (max-width:767px) { .home #full_slider_1 .avia-slideshow-inner, .home #full_slider_1 .avia-slideshow-inner li { height: 300px !important; } .home #full_slider_1 .avia-slideshow-inner img { width: auto; max-width: none; height: 300px; } }Best regards,
NikkoSeptember 17, 2020 at 5:27 am in reply to: Enfold site seems to overload the server every time I try to edit a page #1246421Hi Marcel,
The reason why it’s not showing the latest version in Theme Updates because API is no longer used by Themeforest/Envato for Theme Updates.
You’ll need to put the Envato Private Token (you’ll see the field above API key)
Here’s how you can generate the token: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token
Make sure the following permissions are checked:

Best regards,
NikkoHi Angel,
I apologize for my mistake.
Go to Enfold > Sidebar Settings > disable Page Sidebar navigation
Let us know if this helps :)Best regards,
