Hi yes9310,
Can you try adding this CSS code as well:
#after_submenu .content { padding-top: 0; }Best regards,
NikkoHi GregDunn,
Please try to add this CSS code in Quick CSS, located in Enfold > General Styling:
#top .avia-video iframe { background-color: #fff6eb; }Best regards,
NikkoHi Jozef,
Enfold 4.0 uses API key to update and check for theme updates however envato has already closed the use of API key in favor of using tokens, To update I would suggest doing the following (make sure to backup your site first):
Login to ThemeForest and download the Enfold theme.
1. Right-click over the downloaded zip file and extract/unzip it.
2. It should generate a new folder, open it and look for the enfold folder
3. Right-click the enfold folder then zip it, here’s a tutorial on how to create a zip file in windows: https://www.howtogeek.com/668409/how-to-zip-and-unzip-files-on-windows-10/ (this should create enfold.zip
4. Log in to WordPress as and Admin.
5. Install and activate a maintenance plugin and put your site in Maintenance mode.
6. Go to Appearance > Themes, switch to a default WordPress theme like TwentyTwenty then delete Enfold.
7. Click on the ADD NEW button.
8. Click on the UPLOAD THEME button.
9. Click BROWSE and choose enfold.zip file
10. Click the INSTALL NOW button and switch to Enfold or your child theme.
11. Remove the maintenance mode then deactivate and remove the maintenance plugin.
Once update is done, generate an envato token and register your theme so you can check for new updates and update it via theme options, check further information on this here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/Best regards,
NikkoHi awjensen,
Thanks, this is now working properly.
I have set Self hosted videos and audio features (WP-Mediaelement scripts) to Always load media features (WP Default Behavior), in Enfold > Performance.Best regards,
NikkoHi subnoodle,
Thanks, please provide us with the password as well.
Best regards,
NikkoHi Mark,
I have checked it on desktop and laptop and it seems to show properly on my end still, also tried in Chrome and Edge (screenshot in private content).
Can you try to login using the account you gave us? and check if it also shows the same result.Best regards,
NikkoHi brand,
I apologize for my mistake in my previous answer.
The 3 dots are the excerpt and since your post is using Advanced Layout Builder, it can’t fetch any content.
To fix this issue, you’ll need to edit the post then on the upper part of the screen, click Impostazioni schermata (Screen Options) then check Riassunto (Excerpt) (this is done on this site, do this on your other sites). Then scroll at the bottom and you’ll find Riassunto Text Field and put the summary that you want to appear. (I’ve modified one of your posts)Best regards,

I’ve changed the layer visibility from Forever to until the end of the slide and it seems to work properly now, please check again.
Best regards,
NikkoHi awjensen,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
The text was wrapped in a < span > tag when I checked to which has an inline style of color:#000000 (black), I have removed it and it’s showing properly as white.
Let us know if you need further assistance.Best regards,
NikkoHi Hans Chr,
You’ll need to access it via FTP or cPanel.
You should see it in public_html (if it’s only a single domain is hosted), if multiple then most likely it’s public_html > (name of your site).Best regards,

NikkoNovember 10, 2020 at 4:50 am in reply to: website fonts and colors change after importing parent theme settings #1259458Hi Emese,
The issue showing seems not be of an invalid login but more of a security one.
Some regions may not be allowed access, can you try to temporarily allow other regions? or atleast try to whitelist my current IP (remove it once the issue is fixed).Best regards,
NikkoHi Talker77,
We’re glad that we could help :)
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!Best regards,
NikkoHey subnoodle,
Try using (Email address hidden if logged out) or you can just create a temporary admin account and delete it once the issue is fixed.
Best regards,
NikkoHi webmanu,
Okay, I’m glad to hear that :)
Have a great day!Best regards,
NikkoHi webdesigndmc,
I tried to login to your site however the credentials does not work on my end, please check.
The stretched header does seem to appear both on Chrome (not consistently) and Firefox on my end.
Do you have a js script that’s setting the height of the av-logo-container?Best regards,
NikkoHey Uwe_S,
For your site that’s using Enfold 4.2, try to do the following (since envato has already stopped using of API keys in favor of tokens, make sure to have a backup first):
On your other site (4.7), please generate a token and register the theme, instructions and further information can be found here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
And then update it via Theme Options (make sure to backup as well).Best regards,
NikkoHi redeyedprince,
Putting a readonly attribute for the input field should help with what you want to achieve.
However, we are not familiar of the said plugin, you may want to contact the plugin author/support to help with it.Best regards,
NikkoHi Talker77,
Please add this CSS code in Quick CSS, just replace the color:
#top .main_color a { color: blue; }Hope it helps.
Best regards,
NikkoHey 219innova24hsl,
The issue looks similar to this issue: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/14254943/mbstring-php-and-mb-strimwidth-issue
Try to ask your webhost to enable Multibyte String or mbstring.Best regards,
NikkoNovember 9, 2020 at 10:57 am in reply to: Layer Slider not showing up on page after Layer Slider warning arrives #1259201Hi rasa,
Thanks, I think for some weird reason which I could not find, that page does not work properly.
I tried to recreate it on another page I created and it worked properly (link in private content).Best regards,
NikkoHi kilimats,
That row will be bigger once it’s set to Pricing Row and also the column that will be set to Highlight Column.
Other than that, it’s via CSS. Can you give us specific color and size? so we can try to give a code that should work.Best regards,
NikkoHi awjensen,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,
NikkoHi bburzycki,
You might be using Enfold that’s version 4.7.6.1 or lower which uses jQuery migrate which is now removed by WordPress 5.5
The temporary fix for this is to install and activate this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/
Enfold 4.7.6.2 and up shouldn’t have this issue.Best regards,
NikkoNovember 9, 2020 at 6:54 am in reply to: Critical Error on site post trying to update theme #1259188Hi bburzycki,
Can you try to check the error_logs generated and post it here? so we can at least know what’s the cause of the problem.
Can you also tell us the WordPress version and PHP version on your site?
I tried to check on your site but it returns:Forbidden You don't have permission to access this resource.Server unable to read htaccess file, denying access to be safe Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.Best regards,
NikkoHi tck,
I have checked on the site and the theme is really outdated, I would suggest doing the following things.
Create a staging site (basically a duplicate of your live site) where you can test the updates first. Here’s a simple tutorial you can follow: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/
Then on the staging site, do the following:
(skip this on staging site)
(skip this on staging site)
If all is good after doing these steps, then backup (helpful links below) your live site and perform the steps listed above.
– https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/backup-theme-settings/
If there are issues after updating the staging site, you can post here and we’ll check and try to fix it.Best regards,
NikkoHey awjensen,
Can you give us a link to the page mentioned? so we can inspect further.
Best regards,
