NikkoHi evabo,
We apologize for the delayed response.
I could see the issue, however, we’ll need to check the backend and try to figure out what’s causing the issue.
Can you give us temporary admin access? just post the credentials in private content.Best regards,
NikkoHi julhobart,
We’re glad that we could help :)
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!Best regards,
NikkoHi Rob,
Thanks, this seems to be unusual behavior, but I was able to fix it by doing the following steps:
1. Disable all plugins
2. Switch from child theme to parent theme
3. Edit Homepage (or other page) then click the Advanced Layout Builder button to fix it. (No need to do it on multiple pages)
4. Switch back to the child theme and enable all pluginsBest regards,
NikkoHi aruizhuidobro,
Are you referring to the Social Icons Widget & Block by WPZOOM plugin?
I have posted a screenshot in my previous post (private content), can you confirm if it’s correct?Best regards,
NikkoHi aruizhuidobro,
Can you try adding this CSS code in Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS:
#top #wrap_all #header .av-menu-button a { height: 100% !important; } #top #wrap_all #header .av-menu-button a .avia-menu-text { display: block; padding: 0 16px; border: 0; border-radius: 0 !important; }Best regards,
NikkoHi aruizhuidobro,
Thanks, I could see the social widget at the bottom (Footer 1 of your site), I have attached screenshots on my end both in frontend and backend (private content).
Best regards,
NikkoHi aruizhuidobro,
Thanks, I have modified it, please review your site.
You don’t need to go to Customize, go directly to Appearance > Menus and you’ll see it show up :)Best regards,
NikkoHi rob2701,
Thanks for providing us with admin access, I have checked it and although I could see the issue you mentioned but I could not replicate the issue on my end.
Can you setup a staging site for us? so we can try to troubleshoot it without risking your live site.
Here’s a simple tutorial you can follow if you don’t have experience creating one before: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/Best regards,

NikkoHi aruizhuidobro,
I tried to check your site but it’s down on my end:
This site can’t be reachedBut I could verify that your site is up in https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/
Is it perhaps not allowing some countries to access it?
Also, please try to install Classic Widgets and see if it helps.Best regards,
NikkoHi aruizhuidobro,
The Enfold Restaurant Header doesn’t need to use the Header Widget Area, you just need to go to Appearance > Menus, then expand the menu item and you’ll see Menu Style and set it to Button Style (Bordered).
Hope it helps.Best regards,
NikkoHi Rob,
The last query string is not required.
On my end, I only get this:https://domain.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=13841&action=editWhat version of Enfold and WordPress are you using?
Best regards,

NikkoHi briantduncan,

Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!Best regards,
NikkoHi Greg,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
The reason the footer is broken is that the header.php in the child theme needs to be updated, you can check this thread for further details: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/missing-footer-after-updating-to-enfold-4-8-6-3-please-read-this-first/
Hope it helps.Best regards,
NikkoHi ariane1001,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
The av-helper-masonry.php file in the child theme is causing the issue, specifically, the add_date_query function is already removed in the recent versions and replaced with date_query.
This is now fixed but I would suggest updating the file mentioned.
Please review your site.Best regards,
NikkoHi julhobart,
You’re welcome. :)
Can you try adding this CSS code in Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS:.avia_codeblock span.av-icon-char { display: inline-block; }Best regards,
NikkoHi ImaPappy,
The error is still pointing to the favicon causing the Mixed Content error, can you try to remove the Favicon in Enfold > Theme Options > Favicon? then check.
If the issue still persists, try to check in Appearance > Customize if a favicon is set as well (remove it).Best regards,
NikkoHi advteksol,
Thanks for the screenshots.
Click on the Text tab, then you’ll see some code that looks like this:<img class="size-medium wp-image-965 alignleft" src="https://enfold.test/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/image.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="150" />After the height attribute, insert this:
style="margin-right:16px"just adjust the 16px value (the default value is 10px).
Hope this helps.Best regards,
NikkoHi Jul,
There’s no option for that however you can use this workaround:
1. Add a Code Block
2. Add this code in the Code Block:<span class="av-icon-char" aria-hidden="true" data-avia-icon-tooltip="The Tooltip">
</span>3. Replace The Tooltip to the Tooltip Text of your choice
4. Replace the URL http://enfold.test/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/portfolio-large-1-300×150.jpg with the URL of your image
5. Change the value of width and height, then save.
Hope this helps.Best regards,
NikkoNovember 20, 2021 at 2:14 am in reply to: Cannot Edit an Item – Changes will not take effect #1329756Hi Eleina_Shinn,
It seems the issue is caching, the frontend seems to be cached as the backend is already updated (no errors) but the front of the site does not make any changes at all.
Some servers have built-in caching in their system so even if you don’t have a caching plugin, pages are still cached, please check it with your hosting provider and temporarily disable it.Best regards,
NikkoHi Maureen van Goethem,
We’re glad that we could help :)
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great weekend as well!Best regards,
NikkoHi John,
You can use Layerslider WP that is bundled within the theme without buying the pro version of the theme (with pro you can use more effects and more templates are unlocked).
You can create a new slider in LayerSlider WP > Sliders > Add New Slider.Best regards,
NikkoHi ariane1001,
Can you give us temporary admin access on sites that still has issues? please post the credentials in private content.
Also please post the specific pages, so we don’t need to check on all pages.Best regards,
NikkoHi Maureen van Goethem,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
I have checked your site and in order to fix the issue you’ll need to update the header.php file (based on the latest version) of your child theme.Best regards,
