Updating to the new version does not fix this issue, per the other support topics indicating that there is a massive gap between browsers. For example, Avia_Slider aka easy slider, only works on one version of chrome, and not on firefox or safari. Updating does NOT solve this issue alone. The update itself is lacking vital code for cross browser compatibility, and this is in relation to the theme short codes which are native to the theme. Please advise.
Enfold has had repeat issues with Javascript calls, some calling every second. This theme has had some page load speed issues because of this, for some time now as well. I have done everything I can to get a response from the team and they insist it’s not the theme causing page load speed issues. Good luck with this, as it is definitely the theme not having optimizing javascript.

I have since updated the theme, and now only chrome on desktop is working. Chrome on iPad isn’t working, and firefox isn’t working on any type of browser as far as the sliders go. It also doesn’t work in safari. This is very frustrating as I purchased this theme because the developers showed pride in the theme by advertising it as responsive and functional on all browsers. The Slider is a pinnacle part of the theme, as a short code within the theme builder, but it seems to be neglected on this latest update on every single browser except Chrome. This is a huge problem. Please help me figure out how to make sure the slider works on ALL browsers, as this theme advertises.
Any tips on confirm the overwrite files “dialog”? That’s the only aspect I didn’t understand
This actually helps a lot. believe it or not, media temple was about 1% as helpful as your post. Thank you for your time!
I’m going to keep trying on addittoday.com on my own. Feel free to close this ticket. The last ticket I entered is my top priority right now.
Awesome Ismael! Thank you so much. Feel free to close this ticket!
As you can see, when you go into edit the item on the home page, the size indicated from within the avia layout builder for ‘Special Heading’ is being over-ridden by the new theme. Any idea what is causing this issue? It is seen again in the Trusted Digital Advisor section of the website
This reply has been marked as private. This should do the trick. Feel free to close this ticket for now. Thank you!
Fantastic. Thank you so much for providing your help on this.
One last question: is there a way to have the icons that aren’t given a circle border be a bigger size than the icons that have a circle selected. Reason being, is I use both on my site, and make the on page navigation arrow icons much larger than the other icons in order for them to be seen. This code makes all icons the same size, making the arrows pointing down the page hard to view on mobile.
Thanks again!!
PS
just wanted to say that this actually really improves the mobile experience of the theme. I’ve ran dozens of trials and put in support tickets for mobile crashing and I think the CSS may have been a main culprit. Please pass on to anyone having issues with mobile if their page is using any type of CSS that mine is. This includes safari, firefox, and chrome.
Thanks again Josue and support team!!
Thank you for this this should work!
Thank you again Josue! This worked, but to a limited extent. The Icons on mobile are causing the browser to crash due to the CSS. Is there a way to disable the CSS as well on the icons in regards to their transition and the shimmer the icon border puts off when hovered? I still need the tool tips so that on mobile, when someone selects an icon that links to another page, they can see the tool tip then push the button again. If this is not doable, I guess I will do away with the tool tips but it’s not preferable since it’s such a cool feature.
I’d keep the CSS in general but it doesn’t seem to want to render consistently.
Thanks again!
I found the issue it was within W3 Total Cache when trying to minify the CSS. Thank you for your time and effort. You guys are the top support team.
Hello. I have always had that option checked. Did you see something in the code that made you recommend this? Are responsive CSS queries missing from the site? What could cause this?
alright thank you feel free to close this ticket!
Feel free to close this looking at isolating this issue. Will put in another ticket once I have more information.

Feel free to close this ticket thank you!
Feel free to close this I’ll let you know if I have any other issues with revolution slider.
If I use this, where do I update within the interface? I don’t like to update themes manually via FTP as that can cause issues sometimes if not working properly.
I’m having some issues with page speed and getting all the CSS from the fontello icons to load. Working on fixing this issue now. Feel free to close this ticket.
I found the source of the image size error sorry for the confusion. When loading an image as a background image, the automatically selected size is not the size of the image. Working on optimizing that now.
In regards to loading images to fit the right size, on mobile, is there a way to load a different background that is better for the screen? The big image backgrounds kill mobile page load speed.
Yes thank you! Please feel free to close this ticket
Josue,
You are awesome. Have a great weekend!

Hi again,
I’m putting this into a functions.php i created for the child theme that we’re using and when I add this in it’s crashing the site. One more question about this, does this piece of code just prevent us from seeing the errors that’s happening? Or is it actually helping compatibility issues?
Thanks!
I’m going to build a few layer sliders and return to this thread with examples of what I need help with. Layer slider caused a lot of issues which is why I guess I was referred to Rev slider, which works perfectly on other themes, but lags on Enfold big time, most likely due to native Enfold code vs Rev slider plugin code.
I have also used layer slider full screen without issue before, so the grid itself may be the issue since you said it doesn’t incorporate some forms of media.
Ismael,
thank you for your response. Since the update, I haven’t had any issues with this problem specifically. Thank you for your help!

Devin,
I appreciate your response, but as a mod, your experience as a developer is black and white to your theme customers. I worked through the heartbeat API and all your other recommendations, and keep coming back to the notion that the theme is the issue, as I have multiple themes running with no instances of these exact problems. They are specific to Enfold.
Thank you for letting me know that you have everything figured out, but I will continue to project screen shots onto the support forum until I get an answer that says more than “well it works for me”. Granted, your response is detailed and relevant which I appreciate, and thank you for notifying Kriesi, but I also have downloaded dozens of themes and never had these issues either. I believe it is various theme related issues in the .PHP that is causing these unnecessary calls.
Frankly speaking, it’s evident that the the PHP calls, HTTP requests, and other redundant calls are keeping the site from loading even on the most basic of pages, and it still crashes mobile browsers. I really didn’t think it would take this much effort on the forum to get some exact answers. Let me know if you need access to provide better insight
