  • Hi,
    Sorry for the late reply, I found that you had some css in your merged css file that was hiding the layerslider, once I disabled your merged css the layerslider started showing again.
    This was the css:

                .ls-slide {
                    display: block !important;
                    visibility: hidden !important;
                    position: absolute !important;
                    overflow: hidden;
                    top: 0 !important;
                    left: 0 !important;
                    bottom: auto !important;
                    right: auto !important;
                    background: none;
                    border: none !important;
                    margin: 0 !important;
                    padding: 0 !important
                }

    Please clear your browser cache and check.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    in reply to: Sidebar widget shortcode missing #1072872

    Hey eskitaco,
    Sorry for the late reply, the dev team has been working on a solution for the shortcodes not showing in the widgets, and we now believe we have a solution for this.
    Please include a admin login & FTP access in the Private Content area so we can apply it to your site.

    in reply to: Price and Quantity next to the shopping cart #1072871

    Hi,
    Sorry for the late reply, when I add items to your cart and then hover over the icon it says how many items and the total of the cart. Unless I misunderstood, this seems to be what you are asking for?
    To show the cart icon on the shop page, please try this code in the General Styling > Quick CSS field or in the WordPress > Customize > Additional CSS field:

    #top.woocommerce-page .cart_dropdown {
    display: block !important;
    }

    Hi,
    @jaimbateman I will post the link again, but please note that this is not the official update, and we ask that you follow the instructions above just in case that your site crashes. I don’t recommend using it on every site, just the ones you have an issue with, because it is not the retail version.

    Hi,
    I think that your page is a better now.
    I don’t understand why ” Google detects “jQ (Email address hidden if logged out) ” as a penalizing vulnerability” jQuery is on almost every website, where can I see the penalty?
    Also what do you mean by “dynamically set the title tags alt images” the alt tags are set automatically, how would you want it different?

    Hi,
    Do you want the sidebar to look like the image in the Private Content area?
    The link below is the css file that is overriding that style.

    I see that you have a javascript error, do you have any custom code with this in it:

    .av-section-tab-title[href=]

    can you disable it?

    Hi,
    How are you adding the borders? I would like to recreate the issue on my localhost.
    Meanwhile to have borders, please try this code in the General Styling > Quick CSS field or in the WordPress > Customize > Additional CSS field:

    #top.page-id-954 .avia-icongrid-wrapper {
    border:2px solid rgba(211, 211, 211, 1);
    }

    feel free to adjust the color and width.

    Hi,

    @jojoba007
    , sorry, the ftp access is not working for me, it times out when trying to reach the host, and sftp doesn’t work either.
    Is this FTP or SFTP?
    I also tried to use a Dutch VPN in case my IP was being blocked.
    do you have any other info?

    @mikehenze
    do you mean that this solved your issue? This was an early release of the next update, so yes when the update comes out it will have the fix in it.

    Hi,
    Sorry for the late reply, I took a look at your site, and was able to find the “Amazing Venues” page, which is now highlighting the menu item “Wedding Ideas” I also checked a few others, but they all seemed to match.
    Do you still see any that are not correct?

    Hi,
    I deleted the “enfold-old” So while trying to figure out what is going on with your icon grid, I created a new one below yours and the links are working fine, the only difference is yours have a border around them, please check. Perhaps the old theme created them with an error, and you can use the new ones instead?

    Hi,
    @jojoba007, this has to be done via FTP, but you didn’t include FTP access, if you would like me to assist please include.
    @mikehenze, below is the link, please follow these steps, extract the zip and upload via FTP to your theme folder as “enfold-new”, then change your current theme folder to “enfold-old”, then change this one to “enfold” and refresh your site and check for the error.
    If your site crashes, change the new one back to “enfold-new” and your old one back to “enfold”
    If all goes well and it solves the error, and you are happy, then delete “enfold-old” via FTP – Not through the WordPress theme settings.
    If it doesn’t help at all, then I will need FTP & admin access so I can try to document the issue for the dev team.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    in reply to: Enfold 4.4.1 & Gutenberg #1072469

    Hi,

    @Exec4
    glad to hear you have solved it by uploading through the theme panel, it sounds like you had tried to overwrite the theme directory. Please note that if you update via FTP, you will need to remove the old theme folder “enfold” first (via FTP) then upload the new “enfold” folder at /wp-content/themes/enfold/
    Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this will leave old files behind and cause errors.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi,
    Thanks for sharing your tip on Stripe, for changing how your link shows, I believe you can do this with the yoast plugin, please see this article. The article talks about FB, but I think it’s the same steps. To add a Message to the WooCommerce Checkout Page, please see this article.
    As for the icon, it seems this is added by stripe to show which kind of card it is, probably the best approach is to hide it for mobile with this css:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    #top.woocommerce-checkout .stripe-card-brand {
    display: none !important;
    }
    }

    When I check all 13 of your products show for me on mobile, and I see your Super Cache is turned off, so it doesn’t seem there should be any lag, unless your mobile device is caching on it’s own.
    Does your mobile browser have a setting to clear it’s cache on every close? Or perhaps something similar?

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi,
    Glad we were able to help, we will close this now. Thank you for using Enfold.

    For your information, you can take a look at Enfold documentation here
    For any other questions or issues, feel free to start new threads under Enfold sub forum and we will gladly try to help you :)

    Best regards,

    Hi,
    I’m glad that you are happy with your site now. Now that you are using a child theme, and are applying the customizations to the child theme, you will be able to update the site without losing anything.
    When I look at your site it seems to be in Dutch, but there are two language settings, the first one is for the front end of your site at: WordPress > Settings > General > Site Language, the second is in your user profile at: WordPress > Users > Your Profile > Language which is for the backend when you are logged in.
    Please adjust these to suit.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    in reply to: details for support #1072456

    Hi,
    I have deleted the “enfold-old” directory. Sorry about the issues lately, naturally we don’t want this, but with WordPress making such a big change by changing the default editor, and while we make some core adjustments issues are bound to come up.
    So please bear with us while we make the necessary adjustments.
    Thank you for your patience.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    in reply to: Remove Highlighting from Main Menu Link for Posts #1072452

    Hi,
    I believe the easiest way to do this is to add a category class to the posts, this way all of the posts with the same category will highlight the “destinations” menu item.
    Try adding this code to the end of your functions.php file in Appearance > Editor:

    // add category class on single post page
    add_filter( 'body_class', 'add_category_class' );
    function add_category_class( $classes ) {
        if( is_single() && has_category('destinations') ) $classes[] = 'destinations-cat';
        return $classes;
    }

    this code will add destinations-cat class to all of the posts that are in the category destinations
    Then please change the highlighting css above to:

    #top.single-post.destinations-cat .avia-menu li.current-menu-item {
        background-color: transparent !important;
        border: 0px solid #ffffff!important;
        border-radius: none !important;
    }
    #top.single-post.destinations-cat #header .av-main-nav > li.current-menu-item > a .avia-menu-text, #top.single-post.destinations-cat #header .av-main-nav > li.current-menu-item > a .avia-menu-subtext {
        color: #ffffff !important;
    }
    #top.single-post.destinations-cat .avia-menu li.menu-item-mega-parent {
        background-color: #f2f3ff;
        border: 1px solid #ffffff!important;
        border-radius: 100px !important;
    }
    #top.single-post.destinations-cat #header .av-main-nav > li.menu-item-mega-parent > a .avia-menu-text, #top.single-post #header .av-main-nav > li.current-menu-item > a .avia-menu-subtext {
        color: #109bc5 !important;
    }

    Hi,
    I gussed your login and was able to get in, I then noticed that the code I posted was in the style.css instead of the functions.php, I corrected.
    Now the Lees meer works.
    I also tested your contact form and I got your auto reply message. Although it did take a few minutes, it did land in my inbox.
    Please clear your browser cache and check.

    Hi,

    @mikehenze
    & @jojoba007,
    I have a patch that solves a shortcode problem that is similar to your issues, I could apply it to your site via FTP to see if it solves if you wish.
    But as this is not your thread your private info (login) won’t be private here.
    I recommend opening a new thread with your admin login and FTP access in the Private Content area, and then post a link to it here so I can find it.

    Best regards,
    Mike
