I’ve updated [manually] to version 4.2 but would still like to know why the update alert didn’t show (Theme Forest API is being used).
Also, more importantly, updating to v4.2 did not fix the issue for me.

Do you have an estimated date for this issue to be fixed please?

The Gateway issue has now gone but uploading the files hasn’t fixed this. I have cleared the site cache.
I found the relevant folder and uploaded the files via FTP but this didn’t work.

Unfortunately, I’m getting a Gateway Timeout error when I try to upload the files.
Can I do this via FTP instead? If so, do you know which folder to drop them into?Like I said in my original post, I’ve read that thread and it isn’t detailed enough.
SOLVED:
Go to Users > Your Profile, and uncheck the box “disable the visual editor when writing”
This “fixed” it for me but it’s still a bug and not truly fixed.

Any news on when the Enfold Theme will be updated?

The CloudFlare cache was cleared by selecting all files, not a single file. However, since then, I have deleted the CloudFlare account.
The Slider renders using IE but not Chrome. Surely that suggests it’s not a caching issue? I’ve deactivated the W3TC plugins but that did not resolve the issue.

I did not deactivate the Plugin [W3TC] as there are many other elements to it that I require. However, I did remove the Enable aspect of the Minify part of the Plugin, cleared the cache and this appears to have solved the problem.
