Hi Melanie,
not sure if you are trying to upload via WordPress Dashboard as WP has only 2MB limit and Enfold is much larger then that so you do need to do it manually via FTP.
We personally use FileZilla and its very easy just drag and drop to the wp-themes folder.

perfect Ismael css worked :)
and this theme is for someone else we are teaching them basic things but will not be managing it and its 2 mothers with 4 kids between them and without a photoshop so they will not be able to re-size every single image. So glad you shared the css and would be great if this can be added as part of the theme if possible (at some point as i know the list is long :)
and really thanks so much greatly appreciate the support

I will try to play with this. I was also thinking about what Devin wrote regarding preventing Database corruption, so I just thought of something:
~ what about if somehow we can have an option to “save” a page (like a base) and then once we want to create a new page we can have an option of: use “saved” page. This way we don’t mess up the code but still have an option to use the same base. Then we can re-arrange and play around like if we have “copied/pasted” The HTML code.
Of course this option would only work within the same website but it would still help a lot by saving tremendous time, especially for bigger sites. Not sure if something like this would be possible to implement and if yes i can post it on the request page.
thx

May 10, 2013 at 9:13 pm in reply to: How to copy the source code of page edited with Advanced Layout Editor #118523oh we just wanted to post this question. i think its the same, we need the code as we often use “Text” editor to copy paste HTML and edit part of the code in stead of building the page from scratch. We already purchased 2 enfold licenses and we’re hoping to make this “the” theme and purchase more licenses as we go along, but it would take lots of work if we need to build each page from scratch and xml file exports/imports entire website not just a single page. so is there a chance for this to be added? should we post on feature request page?
thx

May 10, 2013 at 8:20 pm in reply to: How to create a Full Background image under Blank page? #117904Hi Ismael and Devin,
Not sure what happened but somehow I have tried again and it works on the original page created (called /blank) but i cannot re-create the same effect with any other blank page (now up to version /blank-5).
Would appreciate if you can let me know what to do as i have spent lots of hours on this and ran out of options.
Here is what i have so far:
1.) original page settings screenshots:
1.1 – advanced layout with selected “Color Section” and inside inserted an image and few other elements http://demo.globalads24.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Picture-6.png
1.2 – opening “Color Section” and inserting background with Stretch to fit http://demo.globalads24.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Picture-5.png
1.3 – and i get exactly what i need the sunset background with an image (and other elements) in “front” http://demo.globalads24.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Picture-7.png so this is what we need
2.) now i tried to recreate this with many other pages and every time i get the same thing and here are screenshots:
2.1 – first step i create a new page and choose blank page on the right (no footer/header) and also below on the right no side bar nor header or footer here is a screenshot http://demo.globalads24.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Picture-9.png and i used to get blank white page like on the demo of enfold but in stead i get the background that is on regular pages plus a white line in the middle here is a screenshot http://demo.globalads24.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Picture10.jpg
2.2 – 2nd step i choose advanced layout editor and insert “Color Section” as in the original here is the screenshot http://demo.globalads24.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Picture-11.png and in stead of getting the full stretched background like in the 1st one i get a line in the middle here is the image http://demo.globalads24.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Picture12.jpg
2.3 – now if i insert another image like i did in the original (/blank): screenshot http://demo.globalads24.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Picture131.jpg it doesnt cover the whole screen in stead it has still the background from regular pages on top and bottom you can see it here http://demo.globalads24.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Picture17.jpg
3.) we also tested on different screen sizes and on smaller screen it covers the whole screen so here are the 2 screenshots (sorry these are different images as not sure where to get the code so can copy paste so added some other elements)
3.1 – 15-inch covers the whole screen http://demo.globalads24.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Picture6.png
3.2 – 24-inch it does not stretch full screen http://demo.globalads24.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Picture-16.png
so not sure how to re-create the original (1.3) so any tips would be appreciated
thx so much
jasmine
Ismael i did exactly that but it doesnt show on “blank pages”
Devin i just tried that also and the full screen background is still not showing.
below are the screenshots
1.) here is where i uploaded background the regular way http://demo.globalads24.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Picture817adj.png
and it shows like this on the website page(s) http://demo.globalads24.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Picture-814.png
2.) here is the color selection and background added http://demo.globalads24.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Picture816adj.png
it shows as orange on top and images below but no full screen stretched background http://demo.globalads24.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Picture-815.png
thx

Hi Devin,
So if i create this extra folder where would that be? i added 3 possibilities in the image http://oi39.tinypic.com/99gnjc.jpg
so would it be under:
1.) example domain.com/Replete (meaning moving the current site to this folder like a duplicate) and domain.com/Enfold (creating a new site with new template)
2.) example domain.com/html/Replete
3.) example domain.com/html/wp-content/Replete
or something else
And once I create these 2 folders (Replete and Enfold), i can run them simultaneously, but only Replete will show until i finish building Enfold, that way there is 0 downtime on the website. Is this correct?
Thanks
jasmine
at the moment for the blank pages we have one option: 1.) Blank – No Header, no Footer
if we can add 2 more options:
2.) Blank – No Header
3.) Blank – No Footer

thx jasmine :)
