Hi Rikard, that’s great. Thank you! Details below. Backup is done every 24 hours by our hosting company and we haven’t made any changes in the last couple of weeks. We do have a child theme on the site though, so need to take that into account when updating. Thank you!

As I feel a little unsure about doing this. Can you recommend someone who can help me to install the new theme version? Do you guys offer this service? I was going to pay Themeforest to do it, but they only help with setting up from the beginning, installing WP etc. Not just updating the theme.
Otherwise I will have to see if my hosting company can help.
LouiseI have got that plugin installed but it’s not giving the option for any updates. I will check again and come back if I can’t see the solution.

Yes, when you are in the page and have to add the password into the free text field. The background of this field is green, which we want, but the text when you add in the password is grey, and you can’t see if you have added it or not very well.
LouiseI just added the code that you send me above. Do I now have to add both codes in to the contact form to make both borders and text show? Or just the last one you sent for all? Plus when I put one code in and save and then go back into the form again it has deleted the coding.

Thanks for that. I put it into the additional css field and it works in that I now have borders around the contact form, but I still can’t read the titles i.e. elements. I need for the text to also appear in that green. Can you help?Thanks, Louise
Thanks, will open the new thread. The only (not so) massive blue button I see throughout the support forum is the Search button.
Guys I am writing here because I can’t even find where to start a new topic / get help anymore? I now have a fatal error showing on my site. I can’t get into the update Enfold page, and don’t want to simply delete it and start again, because I have a child theme which is currently not showing.
I have two other sites that I also can’t update, but right now this is super urgent.
And please make opening an enquiry more accessible. Thank you.
It certainly is. Please Kriesi speak to Envato and tell them how much pain they are causing their clients!!!
This subject is crazy. I have been trying also for weeks on and off. Theme Forest /Envato have a lot to answer to for this. It’s not done Enfold or Kriesi any favours.
I added a child theme successfully with one site, using the instructions above. But another I just can’t get it to pick up all the changes. Can I ask someone to take a look please? Access details below.
I get the following error message when I try:
Destination folder already exists. /home/queentiy/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/
Theme installation failed.
I have tried installing whilst the parent theme is activated and when the child theme is activated but get the same message for both.
Should I first delete the parent Enfold theme and then install the update?

Hi Rikard
You think it’s fair and logical NOT to offer a discount to loyal and repeat customers? I would say that’s either bad business, because it doesn’t encourage loyalty and therefore you are losing out on an opportunity. Or an uncaring business that is earning so much money that it doesn’t care or appreciate all the little businesses who are loyal customers.
But if you want to call it fair and logical that’s your prerogative.

Hi yeah, thanks I have been there. And unfortunately you have to buy one licence or an extended licence which costs 2799 €, which obviously I don’t require and am not going to pay. It’s a shame, because I will move on to another product now when actually I really like working in Enfold, but I don’t want to have to pay every time I set up a new site. Seems crazy.
Hmmm the thumbnails don’t show up for me. I add them in the Ajax Portfolio Settings, but… in the end I didn’t use the Ajax drop down option in the Portfolio Grid, because then it opens the portfolio item blank, as I don’t want to have preview text. Is there a way I can add the thumbnails under the main portfolio element without having this happen?

Apologies for my impatience! You guys are normally so quick, and it was an urgent query. I find out in the end how to do it. But mainly I was looking for the elements i..e easy slider, text and accordion, which made up the style of the portfolio entry.I still haven’t worked out how to make the thumbnails come underneath the main image. Any tips?

LouiseI think I have made it work! I just deactivated and reactivated the child theme a couple of times and now it seems to have picked up all of the changes.
Yes I did export the settings. I followed the instructions someone left exactly, and most of the modifications have been applied to the child. But font, colour scheme, and some of the quick css coding hasn’t been applied even though it’s there in the quick css box in the child theme.
So should I save these modifications outside of the site and then put them back into the child theme?

I have already activated the Show element options, so I just really need to know what css code to add in to change the cell padding sizes. At the moment I have it in quick css as 75px left and right i.e.
.avia_textblock { padding-left: 75px;
padding-right: 75px;I need to adapt a few text blocks which are already narrow column blocks, as this padding makes the column super skinny.
