    Hi there,

    I have purchased Enfold and am using the theme for various clients sites. Somebody told me the other day that I shouldn’t be doing this. That I have to buy it for every site I have. Is this correct? Until now I have had no problem in publishing it and updating it on every site. But if there is a multiple site licence that I need, I would like to know.

    Hey Louise,

    That is correct, you need a license for each site you create. It can work for a while with the updates, but eventually they will stop working if you don’t have a license for each of them.

    Is there a discount for multiple site use? How do I go and add licences for each site?

    Hi,

    All discount questions have to be asked at ThemeForest. As for the licenses, they have to be added on the backend of the site.

    Hi yeah, thanks I have been there. And unfortunately you have to buy one licence or an extended licence which costs 2799 €, which obviously I don’t require and am not going to pay. It’s a shame, because I will move on to another product now when actually I really like working in Enfold, but I don’t want to have to pay every time I set up a new site. Seems crazy.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback, we have hundreds of customers who purchases a new license each time they sell a site. Personally I think it’s fair and logical and not remotely close to crazy.

    You think it’s fair and logical NOT to offer a discount to loyal and repeat customers? I would say that’s either bad business, because it doesn’t encourage loyalty and therefore you are losing out on an opportunity. Or an uncaring business that is earning so much money that it doesn’t care or appreciate all the little businesses who are loyal customers.

    But if you want to call it fair and logical that’s your prerogative.

    We sell our themes exclusively on ThemeForest and we are only able to make discount on the theme for everyone. We would be very happy to offer discounts to our loyal customers however ThemeForest currently does not offer discount coupons or individual discounts and therefore we are not able to offer it.

    I am not sure if that would be possible but if you would consider making a bulk purchase, then you could contact Envato support and they might offer some sort of special discount for you.

    Also, you can read more about licenses here – https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard. You would need to purchase separate license for each website you create with themes you choose on ThemeForest. These rules are not specific to Enfold but applies to each item on the marketplace :)
