Hi morariuhoria!
Please update the theme to the latest version and then clear your browser cache. That should fix any issues you are currently experiencing :)If that does not help feel free to post us your wordpress admin credentials as a private reply and we will gladly take a look at the issue :)
Regards,
KriesiHi!
Ja, auch das ist möglich denn grundsätzlich ist das forum ja öffentlich und für jedermann lesbar :)
Regards,
KriesiHi guys!
I am afraid collecting issues in this thread is no longer viable since the problems we are encountering now are likely due to different plugins/server settings/customizations.
I will close this thread since the solution for the general problem with Enfold and WordPress 4.5 is to update to the latest version. If that does not help: Please open a new thread with a link to your site and login credentials added to the private content field . We will have a look at each of your installations individually ;)
Cheers!
KriesiPS: older themes (choices, abundance, eunoia, etc) that got the “general” wordpress 4.5 javascript problem are already updated and are waiting for themeforest approval ;)
Hi Frankmen!
Nein, updates sind davon unabhängig. Zu denen hast du immer zugang, selbst wenn kein aktiver Support mehr vorliegt :)
lg!
KriesiHi Guys!
Older themes which are affected will be fixed today.
For everyone else experiencing problems with Enfold: please note that we cannot reproduce any other issues with the theme, so if you encounter problems we need you to link to the actual installation that runs WP 4.5 and Enfold 3.5.2, so we can take a look if there was something we are missing or if there is something you are missing :)
Regards,
KriesiHey!
@Stevo does not seem that the changes we added are applied to the file. there should be no instance ofhref*=#
when I search the file, yet in your file there are still 3 of those. I would recommend to try to replace the files again or update to the 3.5.2 version already available on themeforest.
@hostfusion all of those elements are working fine for me. please link to your installation and make sure that you have either applied the fixes correctly (as noted above, there should be no instance of the string href*=# in the avia.js file) or use the latest themeforest file set.
@AJDesignCo mind posting me a link with a more detailed description on whats the issue? Seems to work fine for me as well :)Best regards,
KriesiHey @stevo !
Did you clear the browser cache after updating? I am afraid with the new fixes in place I cant reproduce the issue and the masonry is working fine for me…
Regards,
KriesiHey!
The problem in that case was that after updating my local installation to 4.5 the javascript libraries where loaded from cache and therefore I didn’t catch the problem. Sorry for the that, entirely our fault that we didn’t check more thoroughly here.
Good news is: Its actually a minor problem with some of the javascript expressions in the file enfold/js/avia.js and a fix was already uploaded to themeforest. we are just waiting for approval by themeforest right now.
Meanwhile you can apply the fix yourself in case its urgent and you don’t want to downgrade to wp 4.4.
Just replace the content of the file enfold/js/avia.js with the content posted here: https://gist.github.com/Kriesi/99a2a977b93c0f1bced99f093c82c7baCheers!

I used no browser tools, at least not on windows. (There probably are some but I was really to lazy to set up a full test environment ) The approach I took was to remove mobile specific rules from the css and checked on iOS at which time it started behaving the same way. I then tried to apply different fixes to the CSS and checked on iOS and Windows Mobile at the same time. Thats when I noticed that there is a simple solution that fixes the problem on all platforms.
Basically good old trial and error testing ;D
Cheers!
KriesiHey!
Got my Nokia Phone 2 days ago and was able to do a few tests. It did take a while but surprisingly there might a super simple fix. Just wanted to ask you if you can check for me, since it works perfectly fine on my lumia and also does not affect my iOS phones.
In shortcodes.css in line 248 change
.avia_mobile #top .av-parallax{position: fixed; z-index: -10;}
to
.avia_mobile #top .av-parallax{position: absolute; z-index: -10;}
This actually solves all the fixed bg problems for me. would be glad if you could try this. (please try without the modification javascript added earlier and also make sure to clear your browser cache first)
Cheers!
KriesiHi Oliver!
the share buttons at the end of blog posts, as well as the icons on the top right of the header are safe to use as far as I can tell. The do not communicate with facebook because they are basically just links and need to be clicked by the user to load either facebook or the facebook sharer
Cheers!
KriesiMarch 16, 2016 at 12:55 pm in reply to: Advanced LayerSlider 5.6.2 lost styles in Enfold 3.4.7 and cannot save styles #598903Hey!
This should be fixed with layerslider 5.6.3 which will be included with the next enfold update (3.5) Please let us know if it does not solve the issue for you after updating
Regards,
KriesiPS I would say that I hope you enjoy your new Windows Phone but, from my own limited experience with it, I’m pretty sure you won’t ;)
Haha, I am afraid that might be true but never say never :P
March 15, 2016 at 6:08 pm in reply to: Layerslider – Preview not working and problems when edit and save #598522interesting. will let the layerslider team know about the bug. glad we figured it out ;)
Hey!
Since I cant tell how long it will take to fix the windows issue I will not postpone the 3.5 release any further, its been too long for me as well. Making all the demos simply takes too much time ;D
3.5 will be released at the end of the week and if I am able to fix the Windows issues they will be added to one of the minor releases in the near future
Best regards,
KriesiPS: Nokia Lumia already ordered :P
Hey Guys!
I am afraid that I cant make a statement (even after such a long time, for which I apologize ) that tells with absolute certainty how we will handle this problem. I think I literally asked every person I know if they got a Windows Mobile Phone, which allows me to test the site. And the answer was always the same: no. What I will do now is buy one of the phones online, test it for a few days and then return it. I am simply not willing to invest any money into this dying eco system I am afraid. If I can solve the issues within the few days I got the phone I will include the fixes in the next update.
One thing I would like to notice is that, other than with desktop related browser, the chance that an issue is not fixable is a lot higher. I had to experience this on firefox for android which works in such a different way than all the other mobile browsers that we simply had to drop support after 2 releases. Fixing those issues would haven taken weeks and there is a point were its not worth the effort, if you take teh low market share into account. The same might happen here, thats why I cant give any final statement (yet)
I will post again in this thread after I received my new phone :P
Regards,
KriesiHi!
Thanks a lot for the solution! Will include it in version 3.5 of enfold so you dont have to change it anytime an update is released :)
Regards,
KriesiHi!
thanks for the effort. will add all of that to enfold version 3.5 :)
Cheers!
KriesiMarch 15, 2016 at 2:32 pm in reply to: Layerslider – Preview not working and problems when edit and save #598389Hey!
I just checked tried to edit the “Home” slider and added a small Welcome label with rotation, transition and padding, color and font changes and everything seems to work perfectly fine for me (in goggle Chrome). Mind letting me know which browser you are using? Maybe thats whats causing the issue.
Best regards,
KriesiHey!
I am not sure if the latest update of woocommerce or wordpress changed the behavior but I was not able to reproduce the issue. The slider works fine for me no matter if I disable or show out of stock products. Once we have released the next theme update please also make sure to update woocommerce and wordpress and let us know if it solves the issue. Enfold 3.5 should arrive at the end of the week ;)
Cheers!
KriesiHi Guys!
We are still not sure why this is working for most of user and does not work for others. My best guess is that its something to do with a server setting. Anyways, since envato is deprecating the function for this and we will use their new one in the near future I just hope that this will solve the issues. I have been told that this should work better for special server settings so please make sure to keep the theme updated via ftp until we had the time to test and implement the new update mechanism :)
Sorry that it takes so long, unfortunately its a rather weird bug for us to solve
Best regards,
KriesiMarch 14, 2016 at 7:05 pm in reply to: Layerslider – Preview not working and problems when edit and save #597933Hi!
I have uploaded the latest version of the layerslider plugin to your plugins folder and activated it and it seems that it fixes some of the issues. Would you mind checking and letting me know if there are any problems remaining? We will include the plugin with the next update this week but want to make sure we got all the bugs. Otherwise we need to make sure to inform the layerslider team so they can provide a fix for the other problems as well :)
Please make sure to deactivate the plugin once you have updated to enfold version 3.5 since the plugin will overwrite the theme-layerslider, which means if we update the layerslider in future versions you will stay on the plugins version
Best regards,
KriesiHey!
I was able to fix the basic versions of the blog like default view and grid view. However I am afraid if you are using the advanced layout editor there is little chance we are able to properly create all the correct meta data because of what Ismael said.
I am closing this thread for now. If you are encountering any problems with your default blog posts schema after updating to 3.5 (will arrive at the beginning of next week) please open a new thread :)
Best regards,
KriesiHey!
I will add the sslverify argument directly to the api call so the snippet should no longer be required. Please let me know if this fixes the issue after updating to version 3.5 – the new version will be released at the end of this or very early next week ;)
Regards,
KriesiHi guys!
I found whats causing the issue. Next update will be out within the next few days and it will solve the list problem ;)
Cheers!
KriesiHi!
Actually the theme uses 5.6.2 for a while now (since december) – The next theme update which should arrive soon will also fix a small bug that was introduced by the creators of the slider but the version will stay the same
Best regards,
KriesiHey!
Sorry for the late reply but the less file no longer exists. somwhere during version 2.x we completly changed the way the grid works and since then it is no longer based on the less file. the comment at the beginning of the file is a leftover from previous times that was never deleted.
Sorry for that, and for the long wait for an answer
Best regards,
KriesiHey jezza1961!
You can get the video in full resolution here: http://videohive.net/item/design-overhead-desk-with-wireframe-and-computer/10101008
We purchased an extended license of the video and made a deal with the creator so we can use it in our online demo and customers are allowed to use it that way, but we unfortunately cant redistribute the source files…Best regards,
