  • I found the source for this: it’s in this experimental feature section of the theme’s layout preferences (see image).
I unchecked the overlay section and got the icon back. Not in the same sizes as before, but still…

You should know your own theme a little better, I might want to say.

Experimental theme options settings that caused problem

    Thanks, Basilis,
I disabled each and every plugin: no change to the annoying on-hover behaviour. Please try again, this does not look good at all!

Plus our developer looked into the code, he found no way to disable the white overlay. Why not make it a choice in the backend? If I don’t want it I uncheck «show white overlay». But we cannot find any such option…

In the changelog for version 4.5 I find this listed:

    – fixed: an issue with image overlay display

Not yet fixed in my experience…

    Thanks,
    Olaf

in reply to: Other distance between masonry images than 1px and large? #581714

    Hello, Rikard,

thanks for your reply. This is what I mean:

Here the images are spaced one pixel apart from each other (available option one). Distance option two would be: large (no size or number indicated). So if i’d like a spacing of 4 pixels how would I go about getting that?

    Thanks again,
    Olaf

in reply to: Speed in accordion slider variable? #581711

    Hello, Vinay,

thanks for the reply: you can find the link to the accordion slider in Elliott’s post above, and it’s also used in the Builders demo theme/website. What I would like to be able to control is the speed of the different elements moving aside when I hover over them. I’d prefer a speed about half of what it is right now…

    Thanks!

in reply to: Speed in accordion slider variable? #580609

    Sorry for the confusion, Elliott:

I was not thinking of auto rotate speed but of the speed that one part of the slider moves when hovered over, the change like when the curtain opens. That is a bit fast for my taste, how the content comes shooting in…

    THX again!

in reply to: Enfold theme update not showing in dashboard #563833

    Thanks, Elliott,

I forgot to mention that I run WP locally on MAMP. There were no expired transients…

I manually added the enfold theme and that solved the problem!

    THX
