After clearing the cache, it worked ok….
And be sure to clear out the cache after update….
After updating, my sliders did not work either; but, after clearing out the cache, it worked….
Seems to be working now; had to clear cache…..
I uploaded Enfold 3.0.4 and still have the problem of sliders not showing up. Others have done the same, they’ve even reuploaded, deactivated plugins….no change. Something is not working right in 3.0.4
Ok, thanks; can close this thread.
ok, thanks. Might it be also that I was running Enfold 3.0.1? I am installing 3.0.2 right now.
okay, thanks….
I have deactivated all the plugins, emptied the cache and cleared the history. The page loads so fast I cannot see if the alt text has changed or not! One, or more, of the plugins is slowing down the page loading quite a bit. Most of the plugins are media library related…..Let me know what you might see….

There are three pictures near the top which when loading for the first time will show the alt text, but will go away quickly as the page loads; for that reason, I doubt I could get a screen shot; after the site is cached on a computer, the alt text may not show up.
Thank you.

the first couple of pictures on top, the rainbow, palm front and little water fall have, when page loads up first time and I see the alt text, very large alt text font. I’ve noted this on other images as well throughout the site, but not all of them….
That did the trick! Many thanks….
Didn’t work. I did look through the forum and noticed that there was a change from prettyphoto to something else and that I should, perhaps, be using 2.9.1. I am using 2.9 and did not see an option in the download page for 2.9.1….anyway, here’s the site, the blog page….where if you click an image it will bring up the lightbox and you’ll see the background, faded, subtle, but there and a distraction….
That worked! Thanks…..
That didn’t make any changes at all…..
Enfold 2.6.2, WP 3.8.3
Disregard; I figured it out….
ok, thanks. I’ll upload the newest version. If that doesn’t help I may just delete that gallery and put it in again; its the only gallery that has this problem and redoing it might solve the problem as well. You can close this thread.
Sorry it took so long to reply; I’ve been waiting for another crawl for the errors to show up, and sure enough…
So, here is an example from the crawl errors report:
galleries/kepaniwai-park-iao-valley-maui-hawaii/maui-photographer-13/
But, here’s the thing….these individual pictures are in a gallery found at:
mauiislandportraits.com/galleries/individual-gallery/ but, as you can see, the error omits the/individuals-gallery folder, though it is is included, there will still be a 404. Also, there are other galleries on this individual gallery page, but they don’t appear as errors, only this one gallery of images.
Thanks for any help. -Ken
(p.s. I just put in 301’s for these in the .htaccess so they may not show up as 404’s – I can remove the 301’s if you’d like to see how they go to 404 I can do that.)- This reply was modified 11 years ago by kenwae.
Thanks!
p.s. I do have padding at 0 but would still like to make it a bit tighter…
Thank you!
October 19, 2013 at 4:31 am in reply to: How To Redirect old .html pages to WordPress pages ? #177694I’ve tried plugins, but they haven’t worked; thought I’d give the one you suggested a try, can’t hurt….and it works!! Thank you very much!
Thank you; I will first install the update and if that doesn’t do it, disable the plugins….
That did it! Thank you Josue!!
It’s been very neat seeing a variety of sites. My website had been built with Expression Web. For many many months now I’ve been thinking of changing it over to WordPress. It was very difficult choosing a theme. A friend pointed me towards Enfold and helped me set it up and now I have a new, modern website!
Yes, that did it. Thank you very much Ismael!
