`The only thing I had typed was the sentence. I saved it and went to dinner. I opened it back up and that’s what came up. It doesn’t always do this, but sometimes it does this for a certain block. Other blocks no.
I’m only mentioning it as there could be a little bug somewhere. If I’m the only one who gets it, then something is corrupted i guess. I’ll do a fresh install before I go live.
Well basic as it is, that’s good info to know. I thought #body was the tag, so I’ll remember that for the future.

By any chance do you if it’s possible to make the light gray lines between menu items shrink to approximately the height of the text?

Second question to ask; If I put this widget in a footer slot the text is black and I can’t really see it. If I change the color to white, it will affect how it looks in the sidebar in the blog. How can I make it white in the footer and black in the blog sidebar?

Ok, good call on the template. THat way it’s saved before I make a sizable change.
Know any good trusty plug-in’s to manage revisions or limit them? Not sure if there’s a best one.

I’m not using any plugins at all. Also, I always just click publish, so maybe that’s the wrong way to do it.
As far as going back to previous revision, I rarely do it. However, the 2 times I needed to do it because the page content just disappeared and I was left with a blank container or two. Those times I tried to go back and grab the previous version and had no luck. I ended up redoing the entire page… which was a pain. I’ve gotten to the point I’m using evernote and snapping a couple of content grabs every now and then. I’m worried I’ll lose some major content that I have to re-write again.
How do you limit the number of revisions to 3? I’d like to be able to do that too.

Any advantages to using Formidable Forms? You mentioned you used it. It must do something unique and different from Gravity Forms?

– JohnDamn, I just lost another page due to some unknown reason. No funny code, just regular stuff from the Avia Layou editor. I saved the page and it came up with one sentence of text and the rest of the page was blank. Went to use the restore and it didn’t work.

Actually I’m running a bare bones wp install at the moment while I build it out. Not sure what’s causing the problems.
One issue I noticed that is alarming is I can’t use revisions and go back to an earlier time of a page. Can you see if you have that problem? Right now when I do it, I just get the exact copy of the current page I was working on. This error alone is making things tough to experiment.
Also, do you recommend a plugin or something to manage large volumes of revisions? It seems like this theme doesn’t store the data like I normally have seen in the past. For example, if I don’t use the Avia Layout builder I don’t see any code at all for the page.

Well after more use, the visual editor is pretty messed up. I’ve had visual elements I put together just go away. Also characters keep getting inserted into my paragraphs and it’s annoying as hell. It happens EVERY time.
Devs, please tell me you are aware of these bugs and they will be getting fixed. This patch has caused a lot of headaches having to re-do modules. Even doing the restore function to a an earlier version didn’t work. I’m probably going back to 1.3 until this gets sorted out.

It’s a fairly simple fix. Select the slider that’s off and then click on the global settings. Look for “responsive under” & “layers container” and put in the size frame your using. Ex. I used 1210.
That fixed it for me and hopefully gets it working properly for you.

To expand further, every time I open up an element that has text entry it adds another
<p><br/>to the top and bottom each time.The menu is fine. I was just wondering if it was possible to have a picture stretch to fill the entire screen and put a message in the middle. I just want the message centered no matter the screen size… similar to the maintenance screen but without the border & frames near the message.
Could create a neat splash page that way.

Ismael you rock! That looks cool. Last question regarding that section… how can I remove the vertical separators between the social icons. They stand out harshly against the black. I’d just take them out completely.

Is there an email address I can sent the link to? By the way, I’m looking at the screen using Firebug and the containers are definitely off center for the middle graphic in the column. Weird.

Would it be possible to have the gallery sliding or rotating to display further items on the list? i.e. have company logos scrolling on the bottom of a page for example. Personally I’d rather see the icons gently scrolling across rather than a full list 1×6 or whatever scrolling at once.

I had the same issue. I fixed it by doing the following:
1. click on the slider you want to use
2. Upper left corner there is a button for global settings
3. In the “Layers container” box I put the width of the site template I’m using: 1210. Also in “responsive under,” make sure to leave 1140.
4. Save settings.
That seemed to fix it for me. Hope it works for you.
