A Child Theme is needed when changes are being made to the original theme files’ code. If you are simply editing your website using the Advanced Layout Editor and General Layout buttons or any widgets, and so on; then any future update will not override those changes.

If you ever need it again, try adding this code to the Quick CSS section under Enfold > General Styling or to your child themes style.css file:
span.post-author-format-type.blog-meta img { width: 100px !important; height: 100px !important; } span.post-author-format-type.blog-meta { width: 100px; height: 100px; } span.post-author-format-type.blog-meta .rounded-container { width: 100px !important; height: 100px !important; }

Please try this plugin to clear WordPress transients if you do not receive auto updates and make sure your API key is correct: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/.
If it does not help, I am afraid you might need to update the theme manually – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Unfortunately not all Server environments are able to make use of the auto update feature provided by ThemeForest :/
Also you can update to WordPress 4.5.2 once you update to the latest theme version.

Would you mind providing a precise link to your site again, showing the element in question? We need to be able to inspect them in order to help :)

JordanHi,
Sorry for the delay.
I am not seeing what needs to be fixed with the English menu. All menu items are showing and functioning. The only thing I noticed is that the Spanish menu is still in English. You can go to Appearance -> Menus and select the Spanish Main Menu to edit.
Let me know if I misunderstood anything.
Best regards,
JordanBoa tarde Debora,
