I’m ‘glad’ to see that I’m not the only one experiencing this problem… I have two websites hosted on GoDaddy’s Ultimate WordPress Hosting system; both using Enfold. On one I can see all of the Enfold options, but on the other there’s just a big white space where the options should be.
Yigit that’s perfect. Thank you!

The test started immediately for you? I’m on an imac and whether I try Safari or Firefox it refuses to start up. What are you using?
Hello Rikard,
The site is hosted (since 2012) at Bluehost. My client has been updating the site himself without problems until this most recent release of Enfold.
The PHP version is 5.6Best,
James
I was advised to clear out my browser’s history and cache – and the hamburger menu now appears.
Guys this simply doesn’t work. The code referenced in the blog article (https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/switching-to-mobile-menu-on-higher-resolutions/.) only works when I’m viewing the website within Safari on my desktop. It does’t work on Firefox. It doesn’t work on Chrome. The Hamburger menu doesn’t appear AT ALL.
On an actual smartphone, an iPhone running the latest IOS and Safari it doesn’t appear at all. NO MENU. NOTHING. NADA.
How can I best help you troubleshoot this. The previous version of Enfold worked perfectly!

I’m looking for a more open way of presenting a popup box/form. Have you had any experience with Popup Maker? Here’s their link: https://wppopupmaker.com

June 15, 2017 at 6:44 pm in reply to: Page URL changes after saving the page when using the Blog component #808681Hello!
After upgrading to the latest version of Enfold, this problem went away because you included the update to LayerSlider.
Now LayerSlider has come out with a newer version. Any idea when Enfold will be updated as well?
Thanks!

April 26, 2017 at 12:52 am in reply to: Page URL changes after saving the page when using the Blog component #783202Mike hello – Here’s the access information you requested in the private area. I’ve created a special page so you can see what’s going on. Here’s the link: http://gmcla.org/gmcla3/kriesi/
To replicate the problem:
Go into Edit mode on this page
Click the Update button – note how the page’s URL (the Permalink) changes to one of the blog entries pulled in by the Blog component at the bottom of the page. What I have to do after editing any page that contains the Blog component:
Click the Edit button next to the Permalink after the page has updated with an incorrect URL
Type in what the URL should be – in this case ‘kriesi,’
Hit the Update button again.
UGH!!!April 15, 2017 at 12:47 am in reply to: Installed 4.0.5 – Layerslider is back but tons of error messages #778113Hello Enfold team,
I am sorry to report that I have found a significant issue with the latest version of Enfold and its integration with LayerSlider. I have another client, PaulVideo.com and we’ve purchased Enfold. IF you need ThemeForest’s purchase code let me know. Paul’s site is hosted at GoDaddy WordPress hosting and we’ve created a staging site. When Enfold is uploaded to the staging site everything works just fine. For a while. Then a Plug-in notification appears indicating that 1 plugin needs updating – but there’s nothing within Plugins that needs updating – everything’s up to date. HOWEVER, when I go into LayerSlider it indicates that (You have version 6.2.2. The latest version is 6.3.0.). So LayerSlider is indicating that it needs updating, yet there’s no way to do so without separately purchasing the latest version of LayerSlider? I have seven other clients, all running Enfold – and now I’m afraid to update their sites and in fact am re-installing version 3.8.2 which I know was stable.
About the PHP version. GoDaddy is currently running 6.26 I believe. Apparently the ISP’s I talk to are not upgrading to version 7 yet because web componentry updating is way behind.
April 12, 2017 at 10:58 pm in reply to: Installed 4.0.5 – Layerslider is back but tons of error messages #776972Hi Basilis,
I called our ISP and we’re currently running PHP version 5.6.14. We can upgrade to the only later version available, which is 5.6.30. I will do this tonight and see what effect it has on Enfold and our site.
I should also note that I only started having this problem with the upgrade to Enfold 4.0.5.
April 12, 2017 at 9:36 pm in reply to: Installed 4.0.5 – Layerslider is back but tons of error messages #776913Hi Victoria,
I uploaded a brand new copy of Enfold version 4.0.5 via FTP into the site, and actually had our ISP reset the rights/permissions in all directories. FileZilla was able to upload all files afterwards. Now however, I am getting all of these error messages when I update any of the site’s plug-ins (errors listed in the private content area).
Please have a look – details in your private content area!
Hello all – and thank you for the easy fix!
May 11, 2016 at 3:12 pm in reply to: VaultPress found suspicious code in one of the files included with Enfold #630755Hello Vinay,
VaultPress reports exactly the wording I sent previously, but I’ve placed that wording in the Private Content below:
Sincerely,
Jim Geiger
Hello Spitsdesign – yes we both tried the same solution. Have you also had an entire page that becomes uneditable (the loading animation comes up but nothing after that)?
Hello Jordan,
To replicate the problem, try to edit the Text Box that begins with ‘Be our special guests..’ When I try to edit it I receive an error message. Other Text Boxes on this page work as expected. If I Duplicate the Text Box that has the problem, the duplicate also generates an error message if I try to edit it.
If I place a new Text Box below that Text Box and enter some text, it works. I can save and re-edit the new text box.
BUT – If I copy the text from the Text Box that’s causing the problem into the new Text Box, and Save it, I cannot re-edit it.
I CAN create a new Text Box, and re-type the text into the new box and save it – and then edit it again.
See below for credentials:
Thank you Elliott and Rikard!
The CSS that Elliott sent works just fine!! Now my iPad 2 displays the hamburger menu in both landscape and portrait modes.
Sincerely,
Jim Geiger
HI Elliott,
I had done that but I think the display on the iPad is 1024. With that setting the mobile menu only displays if the iPad is in Portrait position.
Is there CSS available to trigger the mobile menu? Thanks!

October 15, 2015 at 11:33 pm in reply to: SecureLive reports a permissions issue in the Dynamic_Avia folder #519623Thank you Basilis – I’ve changed the folder permissions to 755 and can still edit pages within the Avia Layout Builder.
Hello Basilis,
I’d like to replicate the affect on this website: http://tobiasarchitecture.com
– the images are full-screen
– layers of text fade in and out
– the slider appears to parallax when you scroll down the pageDoes Layer Slider do this? The full-screen effect is an absolute priority for my client.
Thank you!
James
Hi Dake,
Using the Full-Width slider is fantastic! But I note it cannot be added into a Color Section, and so cannot have a parallax scrolling effect which would be lovely. On the other hand I do see that you can place a layer slider into a color section. Can layer sliders be full-screen?
Sincerely,
James
August 15, 2015 at 4:04 am in reply to: Can't save Enfold theme options, or run Advanced Page Editor… #488093Hi Yigit,
Problem resolved – WordFence detected a php file that had been modified. Once it was restored Enfold worked perfectly! You may close this thread.
Hi Ismael,
Unfortunately, editing the avia.js css file with your recommended change doesn’t enable background video playback on the iPad. Any other thoughts on how to do this?
Thanks Elliott – that works just fine!
