I have the same Issue too. Enfold 4.4.1 and WP 4.9.8. Updated to Enfold 4.5.4 and WP 5.0.1 and same issue.
Thanks Mike, much appreciated.
I installed the plugin. I went to google and got my keys. Not sure why your colleague thinks that is so difficult for users and uses that as an excuse for it not to be in the core theme.
However, I have a staging site setup. Installed plugin, entered key, went to my contact form. Completed the form, completed the 4+2 equation and checked the box to confirm I am not a robot. I was then presented with the Submit form …. perfect. Except .. the reCaptcha no longer shows if I try to fill the form in again. I have deleted my history and cache and cookies. I have used a proxysite but the recaptcha is not displaying. Any ideas?
I have added the site link below in private.
Many thanks,
@Yigit, yes. Thank you.
I think we have seen this issue with Chrome before.H
December 17, 2018 at 7:24 pm in reply to: Remove dots in full screen slider without removing the down arrow #1046457Yes, thank you. I have no faith in any kind of option like this making it to any future release of the theme. Why make the theme easier to use when you can add lots more code to the quick CSS file and remember what it was, and where you put it for the next time you build a site? Like so many things. There is so much inconsistency with this theme it is untrue.

Hi @Vinay,
I believe you have now accepted this as a bug in my post – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/custom-footer-page-how-to-prevent-it-appearing-in-search-results/#post-1046422
The only reason “every site is built with different settings and custom code is because of issues like this – your theme not working properly and you keep throwing out code here, there and everywhere instead of fixing the issues and putting them in the core. Please, just make the theme work as expected.
If you think it works as expected, then please stop using programmers to design the software.
Regards to @kriesi
HThanks @Rikard,
I will try this when you fix the problem with footer templates appearing in search results ;)

HOW do we install this new plugin?
Why is it not part of the core theme?December 17, 2018 at 6:41 pm in reply to: Custom Footer Page – How to prevent it appearing in search results #1046422@Günter – thanks, I hope you understand the problem, as it seems not everyone does.
I simply want to search the site using the inbuilt search function that you add to the header.
I do not expect the footer page (nor any other template page) to appear in the search results.
Can you ensure the fix is detailed in the Changelog in the release it is fixed in, please, as I have simply opted not to use the search for now?
I see the same thing as brunet77 – white boxes ! (this is an issue with Chrome and is Forum wide – I can see @Victoria’s comments with Firefox)
Also note: My ESET Security is now blocking cloudfront.net resources (not sure why).
Hope that helps.- This reply was modified 5 years, 11 months ago by Cliffy.
Hi Rikard,
I have created a new page on the Enfold Health Demo and copied the code (using debug mode) from one of the live pages.
I get the same result. The code is below in private.
If you view the page ON MOBILE, you will see the shadow border at the top does not display on the First 1/2 element of each color section.
(Under the Color Section Heading are two WhiteSpaces. These are what I used to solve the problem, by inserting them above the two 1/2 elements (moved out of the way, so you can see the issue)).Have you thought about using a Facebook Group for support for this type of problem solving. It makes it so much easier to share screenshots etc., you may also find other users benefit too and help each other solve problems.
I hope this helps.
Hi @Rikard,
I can’t let you see the problem because I fixed it, but below, in private section is a link to the live site so you can see the exact layout if that helps.
You may see where I added the 1px whitespace to fix the issue.
Hope this helps,
HDecember 8, 2018 at 12:05 am in reply to: Custom Footer Page – How to prevent it appearing in search results #1042253@Vinay. Can you guys accept this is a bug and will be fixed in a new release?
This is not about hiding a page from Google.
ENFOLD knows the page ID. It is clearly defined in the Enfold theme settings.
A user should not have to start hacking code when the expected functionality of a feature is NOT to appear in search results. It is common sense surely.
Thanks @cg I will give this a go.@ismael, Sorry, I have no idea why my comment went in this thread. I was responding to the fact that the footer section produced a blank space after it when a sidebar was on the page. It is the same effect as adding a full width element on a page that has a sidebar. I’ll have to find the right thread and respond.
I tried this code – it does not work! NOTHING now shows in the ajax search.
I am trying to find a solution so that the custom footer page does not show in the AJAX search OR the main search page. Why has this not been tested before you rolled it out? Surely, this should have been on the design spec so that custom footer content is NOT included in search results.
I have noticed a significant increase in spam also. I very rarely got any spam and now there are 100 x the amount I thought it was because i had moved to another Hosting provider, but actually, it is a better hosting provider than previous.
It seems a shame to dismiss this as an increase in the Russian population rather than an Enfold specific issue ;)I reported this issue just the other week, but nobody in support recognised that this had been reported previously. I hope this gets fixed in the next release.so we minimize the quick CSS (which is no longer quick by the way, there are so many bits of code that should really be options within the theme).
November 21, 2018 at 2:08 am in reply to: Remove dots in full screen slider without removing the down arrow #1035883@Jordan,
I think it had something to do with .scroll-down-link, lol.Still stand by my last comment though. Putting these options in the interface prevents stupid users like me from getting it wrong ;)
:)
November 20, 2018 at 1:16 pm in reply to: Huge, Massive, UX problem with Custom Footer Page #1035577Sorry no. I am not prepared to leave a client site looking broken. I have had to change the site to accommodate my customer request.
Do you not have a test install to try this out for yourselves? Perhaps someone in your testing department? Product marketing department?
If not, I will have to provide step by step instructions for you to do so.November 16, 2018 at 2:25 am in reply to: 4.5 – added: Animated Numbers element into a circle (but not on mobile) #1034226Thanks Basilis,
Appreciate the reply.

I don’t really know what I mean other than this function is “buggy”. I am not trying to add a page of text (though accept I may be trying to put more than a simple sentence).
It would help if, when you release new features, you had somewhere that explained what exactly they do (and don’t do). :)
The issue I explained above works on one page but not the other (with the same text) but something went wrong somewhere.
I have it working now (but don’t know why).
I’ll remove the login details.
Thanks anyway.
HIt would be nice if you introduced a z-index field to all elements. I used the Agency demo https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-one-page-agency/#work for some inspiration but moved the 3 boxed further down (into the next colour section) with a larger negative margin and the buttons stopped working.

November 11, 2018 at 5:15 pm in reply to: update 4.5 destroys access from mobile access and google crawlers #1032244What does unpinning mean?
Does this post suggest we should NOT update live sites to V4.5? because it will impact on Google Search / Rankings etc?
If we do, what exactly do we need to do to fix the issue? This does not seem something that would affect one user, but ALL users, but I’ve not seen lots of complaints – I’m just concerned about updating my client websites now.I managed to reproduce the problem with starting the page again from scratch. I entered a long sentence with no line breaks and this caused the same issue. I went back and pressed Return to break the text into different lines. This displayed correctly.
I then went back and removed the line breaks so it was all one long line of text and this then worked. How strange.
Please have a look at the page I linked you to, to see if you can figure out what is causing it.
Many thanks. How strange, I paste the p/w from here and it doesn’t work. If I paste it from my master list it works. I pasted it here from my master list.
See below for updated info. Many thanks.,
Wow, so glad I came across this thread, thanks for raising it @goldengate415
Is the advice/easiest option then to ignore Enfold minification options if you have plugins installed other than those above (such as the popular highly recommended The Events Calendar) and use something like autoptimize? It’s tea drinking time here – no filters required ;)

I was creating a blog post through the Advanced Builder rather than the default. I only encountered the error when adding the Social Sharing Element to the post and then trying to save. Removing the social share element means I can save the content without the error.
I hope that helps the dev team.H
September 30, 2018 at 3:02 pm in reply to: config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/av-helper-masonry.php on line 362 Error #1016280I’m sure you are @dude, but do they listen? This has been an issue for over 2 years ;) As are many many other issues that are not fixed. But we don’t know this because there is no roadmap, list of bugs, issues etc. We just keep adding to the gazillion posts here. ;)
