Hey Guys,
I like the new menu options but I am having same issue on mobile display. my logo is squished, the social icons are in the way and the menu covers up my logo.
please see thepsychreport.com and narrow browser to see.
thanks!

Hi Yigit,
That worked for the title, but caption still appears on hover. Is there a way to remove that too?
Thanks,
ENHi Yigit,
Tried the code. Doesn’t seem to work. I cleared the cache as well as tried in another browser. Still when your mouse hovers over image/caption you get title or caption in little yellow box. You can view here: http://thepsychreport.com/the-psychlist/

ENDecember 30, 2013 at 5:51 pm in reply to: Image Scaling works in Avia layout editor but not on page when viewing #203766Hi Devin,
I think I have had the same problem, though the posts are private so hard to be sure. If you’d like me to start a new thread please let me know.
Here’s the issue:
All the images that were put into my posts in the text box, and then scaled down using the % feature suddenly appeared as 100% images on the front end of the site, even though in Editing mode they appeared scaled as I originally had them.First, I tried re-uploading pictures and rescaling them with the % feature, and again the images appeared as I wanted them in the editor but were at 100% on the front end.
To fix the problem I used the automatic scaler that you discuss in the reply above and that worked for a couple of my images where the pre-selected sizes worked. However, many of the images I uploaded did not conform to the pre-selected sizes and the only option I had to return my site to normal looking was to manually resize the images in the media editor.
To sum, it seems the % scale feature (for images in a post) works in the editor but fails to appear scaled in view mode. Although I have fixed the images as I discussed above these were two pages where I had problems: http://thepsychreport.com/essays-discussion/art-a-tail-or-a-song/ and http://thepsychreport.com/essays-discussion/babies-and-the-science-of-morality/
Thanks. I appreciate the help.

Yigit,
I pasted in the code, but I still have the same problem. Team member page pictures are out of alignment. http://thepsychreport.com/advisory-board/

October 10, 2013 at 2:40 pm in reply to: Body and Sidebar Weird Separator Highlight after update #173603Hi Josue,
The code you gave me stopped the scroll over effect from gray to black, but now the sidebar divider stops halfway down the page…please see at http://www.thepsychreport.com. Any thoughts?

We were able to figure it out. Thanks!
Thanks for adding to feature request, but based on your response realize I may not have been 100% clear with what i was asking.
I am primarily wondering why the two screen shots here are different, http://enester1.imgur.com/al
Ideally the Blog posts display within a post, would look like the Blog Posts display within a page. I am wondering how I can make that happen.
-Thanks
Evan
Hi Josue,
Should be able to access them now. Thanks.

August 13, 2013 at 2:28 am in reply to: Sliders still not working correctly after 1.9 update #133335@Nick @ Devin
Thanks for the help. A few questions. How do I update my enfold theme when I am using a child theme. Initially I suspected what I am about to describe was wrong but couldn’t figure out any other way: I simply dragged and dropped the enfold update folder to replace the old enfold theme using ftp. Is this incorrect? I wasn’t sure. Butmy wp theme dashboard reads 1.9.1, and I thought the child theme was pulling from that file, so I assumed updated. I am guessing that Devin’s comment “I’m unable to pull up the main style.css file for Enfold on your theme which could also indicate a permissions issue so checking your chmod permissions might be a good idea as well” might also have to do with this, but I confess I don’t really know what you mean, or what to do.”
I appreciate the help. Talk to you soon,
Evan
August 12, 2013 at 12:58 am in reply to: Sliders still not working correctly after 1.9 update #133329Yes the slider on my main page is turned off because it hasn’t worked since the update. Thanks for the info on the gif. But that’s the only gif i have used and i haven’t used it in a multi slide slider. check here to see example of problem for both easy slider and post slider http://thepsychreport.com/easy-slider-post-slider-test/

August 10, 2013 at 4:17 pm in reply to: Sliders still not working correctly after 1.9 update #133327Hi Ishmael or Devin,
Still hoping for some guidance. Let me know what I can do/give you so we can solve this problem.
Thanks,
Evan
@Ishmael
WP Nivo slider plugin doesn’t affect Easy Slider and post slider. Only downloaded WP Slider after spending too much time with a broken slider, and looking for a back up option. Nevertheless I deactivated the plugin and cleared the cache and the problem persists.
Tried a few other things as well, but to no avail. The problem still exists. The issue is on my homepage so I had to modify for time being. please see issue here: http://thepsychreport.com/easy-slider-post-slider-test/
Deactivated Plugins. Restarted browser. Still the same. Same on mobile as well.
Hi,
I updated to 1.9.1 but i am still having the problem with the easy slider (chrome, safari; mobile and desktop). Please see the page here http://www.thepsychreport.com. I use a child theme so I have been updating the enfold theme via ftp. My WP dashboard reads 1.9.1 on my Available Themes page. I am not sure if I am missing a step, or if it is still a problem with chrome (which according to google is up to date). I have also tried building new sliders (easy, full width, and post slider) but I get the same problem.
Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you.
Evan
I tried it in the quick css but no cigar. If i am using a child theme should i go through custom.css? or does it not matter?
Hi,
Easy slider and post sliders not working after 1.9 enfold update. Easy Slider is stuck on first slide. Post slider gets stuck after one forward/backward click. here is a link for you: http://thepsychreport.com/
thanks,
evan
i am also having this problem. see photo here http://thepsychreport.com/test1/ vs. desktop view at http://www.thepsychreport.com
“Welcome to The Psych Report (Beta)” is cut off
Installing the google fonts plugin, allowed me to return to open sans, but any ideas why the font changed?
I am having the same problem with open sans. Update to 1.8.4 and now font is different. Open Sans is selected in theme options but open sans is not showing up on the front end. http://www.thepsychreport.com. thanks
http://thepsychreport.com/kriesi-link-test/….all the colors should be different, but are showing up red
I have a follow up question. I can get the link to work, but the icon color when I make it a link defaults to the theme’s link color, in this case splash red, and once i click the link the icon is underlined. I want the link to work as social media button would. any suggestions?
