Hi again,
Can I expect this to be resolved?

Any progress? The problem persists. Thanks.

EmilMay 14, 2019 at 1:10 pm in reply to: Buggy elements in Safari – reppear after opening another browser tab! #1100518I’ve updated to Enfold 4.5.7 and WordPress 5.2 and the problem persists after clearing cache on server and browser :(
May 9, 2019 at 10:18 am in reply to: Buggy elements in Safari – reppear after opening another browser tab! #1098833Hi Victoria,
I’ve deactivated all plugins, cleared cache, checked in a private browser. Still an error.
I’ve checked the dev console in both Safari and Chrome and there are no errors. I’ve reproduced the error on 3 different computers in Safari.

Hmm that’s odd.
I’ve cleared my cache, deleted all cookies, tried in an incognito window and tested it two more computers, but I still get the same buggy behaviour. My OSx and Safari is up to date (12.1).
Here’s a recording of it: https://www.loom.com/share/a4fa3cb5f4ba4b59942b4ebee4e9b489
I talked to my web host two times. The first time he couldn’t replicate the error either. The second time another person could, both in Safari. They said it was a theme thing and I should contact you guys :)
What other fixes could there be?

Thank you
Thanks, seems to work!
Hey Ismael,
1) I’ve tested it on Safari, Chrome and Firefox on a Macbook Pro iOS 10.13.3. The problem is there on all of them, but it’s irregular.
SafarI: http://b3.ms/j0oM8WWVLnxy it bumped down
Chrome: It got stuck
Firefox: It got stuck2) I stay on a new tab/browser/window for 20 sec or so. It was easiest to bug it out on Safari, the other two took some time.

Uploading latest Enfold theme by FTP = Still an error
Disabling all plugins = Still an error
Changing to Enfold parent theme = Fixes the error? To my knowledge, though, we haven’t fiddled with the parent files, so I’m not sure what’s causing this or how to fix it. Can you guide me in the right direction, reading the console error?
Thanks
UPDATE:
I seem to have fixed the error by enabling Lightbox Modal Window in the Enfold child theme settings. Not sure why that broke anything though.
http://b3.ms/5KBn4Q2gMo4jIf you have any idea that’d help me and others from getting that issue I suppose:)

Hi Yigit,
If I re-update the theme via FTP; will it keep all my settings?

Yes, of course :)
Please see the credentials below.
Okay, Thanks
Okay makes sense. Thank you
Hey John,
There’s nothing wrong: the code is working as intended. I’m just asking if it’s possible to have a content post open as a pop up when clicking a portfolio item.
Perhaps “buggy” was a wrong word to use – I just don’t think the design and the open effect is good.
Seems to work – thanks
Perfect, thanks RIkard
Hey there,
We built our startup MVP based on Enfold:
Craft features more than 70.000 pieces of art-of material from high-quality films, games, animation and other digital media productions. We pick the top professionals, including currently 3 Academy Award nominated films, and showcase all that went into creating the productions. Normally you see the final piece, we show you the story behind it.
There is a paywall, so you’re only able to see what we did to the theme on some parts of the site. Here’s a few screenshots from inside the member’s area:
http://b3.ms/8Wj9o0VvALKg
http://b3.ms/a8XAjZxNABDx
http://b3.ms/yk5MWpy59Q2WHm, that’s sad.
It needs a big overhaul. It’s a mess really.
I would start by:
Removing the title bar
Remove the sidebar
Center the post archive
Make a separate between the posts
Include images in the post previews
Justify the text sectionsThanks
I have a child theme with a style.css file. Something’s seemingly changed with the headers, though:) I’ll go about it manually then.
Cheers
Hi Rikard,
Thanks, but that only applies for one type of heading. Another got one capitalised and is too thin. What changed about the class of the headings and why?
Hi Ismael,
Adjusted the position of one image – how? By custom css or in the Avia editor?
I’ll need to reproduce it on my live site :)
All the best,
EmilHi Rikard,
Totally forgot about this post.
Of course, please see Private Content
February 23, 2016 at 5:09 pm in reply to: Disable lightbox on many pages / allow for certain #587804Applying a color section a custom class, does that affect the NextGen shortcode inside it? It’s not like I want to disable lightbox from the color section itself, only its children/content/elements
February 23, 2016 at 4:11 pm in reply to: Disable lightbox on many pages / allow for certain #587770Sounds good!
Though, Nextgen Gallery elements are shortcodes and not Enfold elements, so enabling the custom css field, won’t really affect them I assume?
Then it would require me to know what “elements” of NextGen Gallery should be excluded and their class?
Or perhaps – can you apply it to, say, a Color Section and it will affect every sub-element such as a NextGen shortcode?
February 23, 2016 at 2:40 pm in reply to: Disable lightbox on many pages / allow for certain #587728Hey,
Thank you for contributing to the post.
But, that solution still requires me to write every single instance of page ID into the code, and every time I add a new page. Or am I missing something? Is there no less manual way to go about it?
Hi Rikard,
No, I didn’t get it fixed, sadly. And I still experience it on several devices in latest Chrome, Safari and Firefox.
:/
Any suggestions?
Best
EmilNope, doesn’t work sadly. Still pops for half a second.
This is the custom css (child theme) I have on the search field. But tried inserting it in Enfold custom CSS as well. Didn’t work.
.avia-search-tooltip { /* wider search field */ width: 400px; border-bottom: none; opacity: 0; } #top #searchform>div { max-width: none; } @media only screen and (max-width: 989px) { /* helps search icon appear on mobile in hamburger menu. Found it on kreisi support */ #top #searchform>div { display: block !important; opacity: 1 !important; padding: 0 1em; } }
And thanks :)

Yep, Supercache is installed and trying out W3 Cache at the moment. The behaviour appeared before W3 though.
Also a CDN, yes; Amazon Web Services S3 and Cloudfront.
