Try to install the latest version of Enfold (should be v1.7.1) and try to use the smtp plugin – i.e. http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/easy-wp-smtp or http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smtp/ or http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

This is not a quick hack but it requires major changes to the template builder framework. We’ll include such an option in the future but for now this is simply not possible…

You can use ftp – navigate to wp-content/themes/enfold/css/ and download the file. Then edit it and upload it again. You can also use a plugin like: http://wordpress.org/plugins/solid-code-theme-editor/

1) Please try to re-upload all wordpress core files. You can download the latest stable version here: http://wordpress.org/latest.zip

2) Try to increase the php memory to 128M: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

3) Make sure that the folder permissions of /wp-includes/ and /wp-content/ are set to a reasonable value (eg 0755).

Make sure that the wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/ folder is writable. Enfold will use this folder to create the dynamic css file (called enfold.css). It contains the styling settings which you configured on the theme option page and if Enfold can’t write or create it you won’t notice any changes even if you save the options.

Unfortunately there’s (currently) no real fix for this issue. The content container height depends on the content and if there isn’t enough content the container height won’t cover the viewport height – in this case the content container ends before the bottom of the screen and the body background is visible at the bottom. I’d suggest to use the same color for the socket and the body/html background – then the user won’t notice that the body/html background is different and the user will just notice that the socket height varies from page to page.

I found some jquery scripts – eg http://josephfitzsimmons.com/home/simple-sticky-footer-using-jquery/ or http://www.egstudio.biz/sticky-footer-with-jquery/ which will add a margin to the footer div if the content container height doesn’t exceed the viewport but I feel it’s very buggy and doesn’t always work as expected. In addition it will maybe break the responsive layout (didn’t test this though)

However if you want to try it add following code to the bottom of enfold/js/avia.js:

There’s no youtube icon in the font icon set at the moment – Kriesi will probably add a youtube icon to the icon set in the next update. For now I’d suggest to append the youtube icon as an image to the icon list. In header.php replace

You can use following filter to exclude pages from the sidebar – add the code to the bottom of functions.php

and replace 20,25,30 with the page ids of the pages you want to remove from the sidebar menu…

Each menu item has an id – you can use this id to hide each item. To find out the id just investigate your website with the developer tools or firebug – I made a short video to demonstrate the workflow: http://www.screenr.com/38xH

Now you can hide all your “section” links with following css code (insert it into the quick css field):

}

Instead of 721, 709, etc. insert your custom ids (ids of the section links).

Then use following code to show the items on a certain page:

display: block;

}

Again, replace the 721, 709, etc ids with the section link ids and replace 75 with the id of the page which contains these sections.
