Hi!
Yes, many users complained about the button styling (not consistent in design, not flat, don’t fit into the minimalist theme design, etc.) and Kriesi decided to change the button styling.
Cheers!
PeterHi sododesign!
Please try to insert following code into the quick css field
#top .avia_textblock p a{max-width: 100%;}
Yes we plan to release it as a standalone plugin but not in the near future. It will probably take several months and we plan to release new themes first before we release such a plugin.
Cheers!
PeterHi!
Did you select the “Montserrat” on the theme options page (Enfold > Styling)?
Regards,
PeterHey!
As far as I know Enfold just supports a full-width LayerSlider but I’ll tag this thread for Kriesi.
Cheers!
PeterOctober 21, 2013 at 9:00 am in reply to: Display Media item Title instead of Media item Description in Lightbox #178319Hi!
You can use following function:
add_filter('avia_load_shortcodes', 'avia_include_shortcode_template', 15, 1); function avia_include_shortcode_template($paths) { $template_url = get_stylesheet_directory(); array_unshift($paths, $template_url.'/shortcodes/'); return $paths; }
to overwrite shortcodes with your child theme. Just place it in the child theme functions.php file, then create a folder called “shortcodes” in the child theme folder and insert the gallery.php file into it. Then open up gallery.php and replace
$title = trim($attachment->post_title) ? esc_attr($attachment->post_title) : ""; $description = trim($attachment->post_content) ? esc_attr($attachment->post_content) : "";
with
$description= trim($attachment->post_title) ? esc_attr($attachment->post_title) : ""; $title = trim($attachment->post_content) ? esc_attr($attachment->post_content) : "";
Best regards,
PeterHey Compustar82!
Personally I can’t reproduce the issue – the blog page setting shouldn’t affect the feed query at all. However did you try to a workaround. I.e. set a private page or a “Draft” as blog page and make sure you don’t add this page to the main menu. Then the users can’t access the page/blog but a page still “shows” the blog and the feed should work.
Best regards,
PeterHey!
Yes, can you please post a link to your website – we’ll check the source code.
Best regards,
PeterHey!
Please try to use an iframe to embed the html document. You can use a generator like: http://7thspace.com/webmaster_tools/iframe_generator.html
Just switch to the “html editor” and insert the iframe code. You don’t need to insert the js/css files because the iframe will load it automatically. The only limitation is that you can’t “share” the javascript/css code between the frames. I.e. you can’t use a js function from the iframe with Enfold and the Enfold code won’t work in the iframe but the advantage is that the theme code also won’t mess up your website ( http://192.210.206.48/hitachi/hitachi.html )
Cheers!
PeterHi!
I found the issue but not a solution. In your case the WordPress SEO plugin breaks the archive links. When you deactivate it they’ll work again. This is NOT a theme issue because if you switch to the TwentyThirteen theme the links won’t work too and as soon as you deactivate the SEO plugin the links start to work again (regardless of the theme you use). You can try to use another SEO plugin or buy the premium version: http://yoast.com/wordpress-seo-premium-release/ and contact the Yoast support team to fix the issue.
Best regards,
PeterHey prabu_venkat!
No, Enfold doesn’t support a sort filter on taxonomy pages but you can create several portfolio grid pages with the layout builder or with the portfolio shortcode.
Cheers!
PeterHey!
I posted my setup here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/i-need-advice-with-java-script/ – it’s basically the default setup (auto mode).
Regards,
PeterHi!
It’s probably a server configuration issue. Make sure that W3TC generates the compressed files and that all necessary directories are writable. In my case W3TC uses the wp-content/cache/minify/000000/ directory to save the compressed files but it may vary from server to server. As far as I know the plugin developers also over professional support for the plugin setup. Go to Performance > Support and purchase a ticket. Then they’ll check the server configuration for you and change it if necessary.
Regards,
PeterHi Bruno!
No, Enfold never supported W3TC (or any other cache plugin) “directly”. However you should be able to use W3TC with Enfold.I use it on my website too and I didn’t notice any issues.

PeterOctober 20, 2013 at 9:11 am in reply to: Fullscreen Slider: change the height of 100% to 100% – 100px #178026Hi!
I just noticed that my code won’t work because the hasClass check is wrong . It must be
this.$slider.height(slide_height); if($('body').hasClass('page-id-3014')) this.$slider.height(slide_height) = this.$slider.height(slide_height) - 100;
instead. If it still doesn’t work just try:
this.$slider.height(slide_height); this.$slider.height(slide_height) = this.$slider.height(slide_height) - 100;
Best regards,
PeterHi!
Yes but these layouts just depend on the gallery layout option: http://www.clipular.com/c?5165993374515200=qwo9NxwVTuduxR8hyamWoZ2k4Vk&f=.png
If you want to build a custom layout use the “Don’t display images at all” and then you can use the text editor (underneath the gallery images) and the column shortcodes, etc. to build a custom layout.Regards,
PeterHi!
You can suggest it in the feature requests thread. Afaik only 1 user requested this in the past and I’m not sure if this feature is really useful for the majority of our users but we monitor the feature request thread and if more user request it we’ll look into it.
Regards,
PeterHey!
I wonder if the logo resize script doesn’t work properly in your case. Try following – open up enfold/js/avia.js and replace
if(navigator.appVersion.indexOf("MSIE 7.") == -1) avia_resize_menu();
with
/* if(navigator.appVersion.indexOf("MSIE 7.") == -1) avia_resize_menu(); */

Please try Relevanssi: http://wordpress.org/plugins/relevanssi/ and this code: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-code-update-for-2-2-to-use-relavanssi-plugin/#post-168752
After the plugin installation go to the configuration page and search for the “Indexing options” – there you can select/deselect the post typesyou want to add to the search index. Deselect the “portfolio” checkbox and save the settings.
Best regards,
PeterHey mgma!
Please make sure that the /wp-content/themes/enfold/includes/helper-markup.php file exists on your server.

PeterOctober 20, 2013 at 8:49 am in reply to: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in … postslider on line 443 #178015Hey!
Afaik this is not easily possible. You can try a plugin like: http://wordpress.org/plugins/display-posts-shortcode/ and you can use the html field to embed the shortcode into the slider. Maybe it gives you useful results. If not please hire someone for the customization of the LayerSlider.
Best regards,
PeterHey Konstantin!
You need to modify /wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/toggles.php – replace following line
$start = array(__('All','avia_framework' ) => true);
with
$start = '';
Best regards,
PeterHey!
I just noticed that Kriesi did not add the filter to the accordion function but it will only affect the portfolio filter. I’ll ask him to add it to the accordion function too.For now you need to modify /wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/toggles.php directly and replace following line
$start = array(__('All','avia_framework' ) => true);
with
$start = array();
Regards,
PeterHey JochenBake!
1) Kriesi is not allowed to distribute all files he uses on the demo page (images, etc.) and thus the dummy data is a bit different.If you need help with a certain page/layout please post your question here and we’ll help you.
2) No, you can’t buy additional templates for LayerSlider.
Regards,
PeterHey!
I’ll mark it for Kriesi. Maybe he can provide a solution.

PeterHey redfelt13!
ZipArchive is a standard php function: http://www.php.net/manual/en/class.ziparchive.php
If your server returns an error like “Class ‘ZipArchive’ not found” please contact your hoster and ask the hoster support staff to activate the php class/function for you. Maybe they need to update the php version or change the php.ini config file for you.Regards,
PeterHey!
Thank you for the notice. We’ll fix this in the next update.

PeterOctober 19, 2013 at 3:28 pm in reply to: Previous/Next buttons on Portfolio Items restrict to 1 category? #177888Hi!
It’s currently not possible to restrict the next/previous buttons to one category if you want to use it with portfolio entries. Basically it’s a wordpress limitation which will probably be fixed in 3.7 or 3.8 but for now it’s not possible. Also see: http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/17807
Cheers!
PeterHey!
I’m also using W3TC on my website ( http://inoplugs.com ) and I didn’t notice any issues with the file compression yet. I made a screenshot of the option page – maybe my configuration helps you somehow: http://www.clipular.com/c?5517652411809792=iuOkx8l4yotW5ggOPu73g1iBt94&f=.png and http://www.clipular.com/c?6424294238191616=5TK73bEboe0mNw5TU_tZbHjbJSU&f=.png
If the “auto mode” does not work try to deactivate all plugins (except W3TC) and the compression should work. Then activate the plugins one by one and clear the cache every time you activate a plugin. By going this way you can determine the plugin which breaks when you try to compress the js files and you can contact the plugin author and ask him to look into the issue.
Best regards,
Peter -
