The built in LayerSlider’s shortcodes are disabled unfortunately.
March 19, 2014 at 11:56 pm in reply to: Confused about shortcodes and advanced layout editor- nothing works anymore #240407Hi ckosheff!
The regular visual editor and the advanced layout editor are two separate entities and can not work together or at the same time. So its an either or situation.
When you are using the regular visual editor shortcodes are just shortcodes like any other theme. When using the ALB they show up as a layout.

DevinHi!
I’m not sure if this was intentional or if it was needed with one of the updates but for the short term the only way to go back would be to downgrade your theme to a previous version.
I’ll tag Kriesi on the topic as well since I’m not aware of any discussion about it or it being changed.

DevinMarch 19, 2014 at 11:49 pm in reply to: Encore directory and theme name in style.css (renaming) #240405Hey cinetheque!
You can rename it yes. However I would recommend keeping your own change log to keep track of each change you’ve made to the core files so you can still update when the files get updated.
Best regards,
DevinHi AliMese!
For customization like that you would need to go through a freelance developer. Its quite a bit beyond what we can assist with through support.
We recommend Microlancer, Codeable or http://kriesi.at/contact/customization
Best regards,
DevinHey Tanya2105!
You would need to edit and add those additional fields to the shortcode element via php in the theme files: config-templatebuilder>avia-shortcodes>testimonials.php
Cheers!
DevinMarch 19, 2014 at 11:45 pm in reply to: iPad and iPhone page links not working – **URGENT UNRESOLVED ** #240399The pagespeed acts as a cache so the css to fix the issue isn’t actually getting applied to your front at all.
Hey!
Yes, it will disable category as well as comment feeds as believe.
Regards,
DevinHey!
I’m going to close this topic for now since Peter’s response is the correct end for this and it isn’t something we have control over “fixing” as he mentioned.
Cheers!
DevinHey Marc!
No not in the same way. You can load a full set of blog elements but not content sections like that.
It sounds like it should be added though so suggest it on the feature request https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
Regards,
DevinHi!
You must add the font into the available fonts using the link Yigit provided or another plugin which will add the font into WordPress for you. Since there are so many that do this its often an easier solution for users.
Best regards,
DevinHi!
That kind of customization is beyond what we can do via support. If its a must- have feature you can either add it as a feature request here: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
or
Have it custom coded in by a freelance developer. I recommend Codeable, Microlancer or http://kriesi.at/contact/customization for hiring out the customization.
Best regards,
DevinHey winstoncuthbert!
I’m not quite sure what you mean. Are you thinking of the mega menu like on the demo site?
See if this overview for the themes mega menu helps in what you are looking for: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67651241

DevinMarch 19, 2014 at 6:45 am in reply to: Full-Width Masonry: change size each thumbnail and size each lightbox #239856Hey!
Can you point to an example of what you would like to happen with the lightbox? I’m not sure we are clear on what exactly it is you are looking for.
Cheers!
DevinI see what you mean. Add this to your child themes mobile media query (in the style.css) and it’ll clean it up:
#billing_state_field { width: 100%; } #billing_postcode_field { width: 100%; }
Hi teddybaker!
See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/move-from-a-local-installation-to-a-live-server/
That plugin is the best method I’ve found when moving things since it allows you to easily change the serialized data for the new site/domain.
Regards,
DevinHi tidusuper91!
No not currently. It would take re-styling them with the themes css which we don’t have available for nextGen right now.
Best regards,
DevinHi arcoates!
Sounds like there is a hosting issue preventing the filesize from being uploaded or a timeout on the upload. Either way you can easily upload over FTP and install that way.
See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/
At the same time you can also install a child theme so that any future customization is properly set up on a child theme.
See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/

DevinMarch 19, 2014 at 4:29 am in reply to: LayerSlider Shortcode not working – was working until I added another shortcode #239828You can use the other slideshows inside columns and elements just not LayerSlider slideshows.
Hi!
The fullscreen images/slider will always get cut off and cropped a bit depending on the users screen size. It isn’t the same as a regular slider because it always fits *fullscreen* and not just responsive. So it crops and adjusts to fill the users screen.
If you want the full width of the image to always show you need to use the fullwidth slider instead.
Best regards,
DevinHey!
Yes, you can set the option on the element to have a fallback image in which was added in with 2.6 as well as fixing the iOS issue of the video not being clickable to play.
Cheers!
DevinHi!
I think this should be a more top end fix so I’m going to tag the topic for Kriesi to take a look at so that it can get fixed within the theme and not just a bandaid from us.
Best regards,
DevinHey gerdrosenauer!
You can adjust the number to be shown on that portfolio element.
Cheers!
DevinMarch 19, 2014 at 1:45 am in reply to: Advanced layout editor to build your own blog layout? #239761So far I’ve not been able to re-produce the issue so for you as well if I can log into your installation and take a look at things first hand we can try and find out what is happening.
Hi!
As far as I know there was only ever the main large one and the smaller one. That import forces all of the available ones to load in.
Regards,
DevinHi Ignazio!
This is the first I’ve heard of it and I didn’t see any mention of it in the bug fix release that was sent out today. Can we see the issue on your site live?
Cheers!
DevinMarch 19, 2014 at 1:29 am in reply to: New version problems (CSS, Menu resposiveness, Tooltip funtions) #239751Hey!
No, this topic is not a single grouped bug thread topic. I’m going to close it off for now actually as the main issues should be fixed in the update that is getting pushed out today.
If anyone is still having issues please make a new topic outlining the specific issue.
Best regards,
DevinWhat browser is that happening in? I tried it a few times just now but can’t get that bug to happen on my end.
I’m sorry you’ve been so frustrated but take a look at this video walk through here:
HTML5 video support is unfortunately a somewhat touchy topic and WMV is not a supported video type which is why you weren’t having any success using it: http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_video.asp
Video elements can be added in place of images in your slideshow elements as well. I’ll be doing another round of videos and documentation for them now that they have stabilized with version 2.6.
