September 25, 2014 at 5:33 pm in reply to: Adjusting product image size with WooCommerce plugin #325123
Hi gb!
In your WooCommerce settings you can change the size of the image that is added to the page. Go to WooCommerce Settings>Products tab and look for Product Image Sizes.
After saving you’ll need to regenerate your thumbnail images using http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

Unfortunately customization is outside of the scope of what we cover via support. We do however actually have a post on our online documentation to get you started on customizing the single product page here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/change-woocommerce-single-product-page-layout/
Regards,
DevinHey!
All of each slideshows responsive-ness is handled by that individual slideshow and how you set up the items in the slide.
The text however will not change in size because it is currently set at 60px !important so its being forced to 60px no matter what.
Cheers!
DevinHi Ddbmiller!
All of the responsiveness of the slideshows are handled on that specific slideshow’s settings when editing it. There hasn’t been anything on the theme side of things that has changed so it might be a matter of re-saving those options or making sure they are still set.
Best regards,
DevinHey @sorinlati!
This is not coming from the theme itself. Ask your hosting provider to scan your account for malware, delete the theme folder completely and then re-install it from a fresh download just like you did the first install of the theme.
You will need to have google re-scan your site after you’ve cleaned up the server otherwise you will keep getting flagged. Unfortunately in these situations we don’t have any way of helping other than this general advice.

There is nothing on our side that can control what gets flagged as spam. That is up to your mail service and your domain reputation to that spam filter.
Cheers!
DevinEach item on your index page would be an image with a link pointing to that sub page that has the portfolio grid of the chosen category.
September 25, 2014 at 3:27 pm in reply to: SEO Issue: bold name field in avia customer review affects SEO negatively #325030Hey mw75!
I would say bold being positive or negative to SEO is not really definitive. If you don’t like it or feel its a negative then its pretty trivial to change or even not use the name field at all and add the name to the testimonial text area.
Cheers!
DevinHey!
Try deactivating plugins that have also not been updated to work with WordPress 4.0. Specifically anything that is set to run in the page editor.
Then go further by deactivating all plugins if selective deactivation doesn’t work.
By itself the theme works with 4.0 but a handful of users have had issues with the WordPress update and plugins with the theme active as well. A smaller subset has reported issues but we’ve not actually found any bugs when digging deeper.
Regards,
DevinHey mjaraas!
What is the actual url for the site? So far the symptoms you’ve described have been fixed by the 2.9.2 update.
Cheers!
DevinSeptember 24, 2014 at 6:48 pm in reply to: Oddity when editing home page – does not happen in other themes #324523You could try doing that for sure. From the WordPress plugin page you can download previous versions of the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/developers/
Hey diefleischerei!
In the theme options go to the Import/Export tab. You can then import in the demo data.
After, because of an issue with the menu and importer, go to the Appearance>Menus editor of WordPress and create a new menu to assign to the “Enfold Main Menu” area. Otherwise the menu shows up a bit messy.
The mega menus can be created from there as well though they aren’t able to be imported so we have a video to assist you in creating them here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/setting-up-your-mega-menu/
Regards,
DevinHey!
Try going to the WordPress admin and then Dashboard>Updates. From there do a re-install of WordPress 4.0.
After, do a full re-install of the theme files over FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

DevinHi uweda!
It would be on the ThemeForest account holders page. If you don’t have control of that account you would need to re-purchase the theme or talk to ThemeForest to see if they could transfer it to you.
Regards,
DevinHey TheodoraPhotography!
You’ll need to contact ThemeForest support directly. We have no ability to support any issues on ThemeForest’s end unfortunately bug the Enfold 2.9.2 update is needed to work with WordPress 4.0 for sure.

DevinSeptember 24, 2014 at 3:45 pm in reply to: Does Enfold theme come with the plugin 'LayerSlider '? or do I have to purchase #324344Hey rob!
It comes with a bundled version of the plugin yes.
The rewrite error could be a Windows issue but I have very little experience with Windows servers. Try going to your permalinks settings in the WordPress settings and changing them to default (no pretty permalinks). Then see: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Permalinks_without_mod_rewrite

DevinSeptember 24, 2014 at 3:41 pm in reply to: Fixing the little bug about the mega-menu when import dummy-data #324338Hi bcndisseny!
The menu issue should be fixed in the next release rolling out which is within the next week at most.
Best regards,
DevinWhat method did you use to move the sites database? You must make sure to do a correct find and replace that also fixes the serialized data so that the new url works correctly.
See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/move-from-a-local-installation-to-a-live-server/
I would say there is most likely nothing out there that would add on to the themes own template function to allow you to have a single editable template. The design of the layout builder is to make creating and editing content quick and easy. It isn’t the best solution when dealing with a huge swath content but I wouldn’t say WordPress in general has good solutions for that anyway.
If you wanted repeatable and later changeable elements the best solution WordPress has is either template files written in php, shortcodes written for those specific calls or a combination of the two.
You could actually also add in a widget area to your template type pages that you can control from the Widget area alone for all of the pages.
Hi adjuan!
Kriesi has customized the Kriesi.at site with his own child theme so lots of the effects and customization are possible with customization but are not part of the core theme.
Everything that the theme comes with is shown in the actual Enfold demo: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/

DevinSeptember 23, 2014 at 8:04 pm in reply to: single-portfolio.php isn't the portfolio template file??? #323884Hi emgidy!
That is the correct file if you are using the portfolio and the regular visual editor. If you are using the drag and drop builder then the theme uses its template which is the template-builder.php file.

DevinHi NSCduclos!
No unfortunately not. The trigger for the animation wouldn’t work inside of another animation.

DevinHi!
Do you get the same error when you completely disable qTranslate? That seems to be the big conflict that I can see.

DevinSeptember 23, 2014 at 4:47 pm in reply to: Oddity when editing home page – does not happen in other themes #323786Hi!
I *think* this is related to a semi ongoing bug with Yoast’s WordPress SEO plugin. I’ve run across similar issues now for multiple users who have it active.
I’ll tag the topic for Peter as he has an ongoing relationship over there to make sure Enfold is always compatible I believe.
Best regards,
DevinHi chinmaytam!
1) WooCommerce uses the already created “Shop Overview Page” sidebar area and generally ignores the page settings for the “shop” page you choose in the WooCommerce options. I moved your widgets from the custom sidebar into the correct one and they show now.
2) You can manually change the font with:
.widget_recent_entries li a { font-style: italic; font-family: "Georgia", "Times New Roman", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; }
And then customize as needed.
Cheers!
DevinHey Condesign_kista!
Try switching to any of the twenty something themes and see if the link works. There shouldn’t be anything on the theme side which could or should effect files inside of the uploads folder being accessible.
You can update your theme and not lose any settings without using a child theme. You only need to use a child theme if you modify the actual theme files.
See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Regards,
DevinWhat you described is actually exactly how the current templates work. You would create a generic layout and save it as a template. Then for each page created the user would click on the template for it to be added into the page where the user would only need to add text and images into the layout.
Its something Kriesi has looked at briefly but the main issue with doing it on posts is that content traditionally shouldn’t be modified so heavily. Its a major step back for anyone looking to build a long term site using WordPress to load up their post data with shortcodes and custom layouts when the data on Posts is supposed to stay pretty standard.
September 23, 2014 at 3:50 am in reply to: Layer Slider not displaying the images when building the slider #323436Hi!
I’ve just updated the other topic and in checking your site specifically there is actually an error showing in dev tools.
On a clean Install of the theme, WordPress and the bundled LayerSlider there doesn’t seem to be any issue with the preview functionality.
Cheers!
DevinHey!
I just did a quick install of Enfold 2.9.2, WordPress 4.0 and LayerSlider 5.2.0 and the preview worked without issue.
@icvdm – You have an error somehow in your LayerSlider code. I can’t say how it got there or even where it is but if you check dev tools you can see the error message. Try doing a quick theme re-install over FTP and then creating a new slideshow. This is not present in any other theme version I have ever come across so somewhere along the line there was an incorrect bit of code introduced into your instance of the plugin and/or slideshow and LayerSlider isn’t able to overcome it.There is no indication that 5.3.0 has any fix for 4.0 but Kriesi typically keeps the plugin up to date along side the theme updates.
Best regards,
