    Hey TheodoraPhotography!

    You’ll need to contact ThemeForest support directly. We have no ability to support any issues on ThemeForest’s end unfortunately bug the Enfold 2.9.2 update is needed to work with WordPress 4.0 for sure.

    Regards,
    Devin

    Same for me.

    I think it’s inconceivable for an answer especially when it is written, “premium support” on the purchase page. It’s not our job to see that both parties communicate effectively together.

    This drawback has created a problem for me with my client today because they needed to quickly update information on their website.

    I proceeded to manually update the theme. Either put the site in maintenance, download the theme in my TF account, delete it and upload the new one.

    I think at least it’s a solution that you could have answered at this time to help your clients.

    Otherwise, I am very satisfied with the performance of Enfold theme.

    I am having the same issue. This is why I HATE updates. There is always a problem in some form. Now I can’t edit my website – all the pages just sit with the “loading” spinner. Please advise. I have deactivated all the plugins- I’m running wordpress 4.0 (which I’ve manually and through the dashboard updated twice) and I have Enfold 2.9.2 installed.

    Hey!

    @TheodoraPhotography
    : As a temporary solution, please update the theme via FTP. Refer to this link for more info: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    @nparent
    : Sorry for any inconvenience this problem might have cause you. I’ll ask Kriesi to take a look. For the meantime, please update the theme via FTP.

    @mjaraas
    : Do you mind if we take a look at the website? Please try to deactivate the plugins, see if that changes anything. Enfold 2.9.2 should fix any issues with WordPress 4.0 but third party plugins that are not compatible with the latest WP release can ruin things up.

    Regards,
    Ismael

    I think I finally solved it. Not sure what order of what I did solved it, after a few manual re-updates, turning off and then on various plug-ins we are up and running again. Thank you!

    Hi!

    Glad to hear it. There was a script update with WordPress and I know for many users it was an issue with their local cache trying to use the old script (either from Enfold or WordPress or both).

    As for the ThemeForrest issue I wish there was something we could do about it but as of right now we can not. Kriesi provides support outside of ThemeForest voluntarily which is what the Premium support is. We simply don’t have access to or can even interact with Envato employees any more than you can as a user.

    Best regards,
    Devin

    Hey!

    You need to update your theme to Enfold version 2.9.2 which is the update that brings the theme up to compatibility with WordPress 4.0 :)

    Best regards,
