July 10, 2013 at 4:06 am in reply to: Exclude page title and Breadcrumbs from the Landing Page/Home Page #128894
Hi faterra,
For that page go to the Layout meta box on the right hand side of the visual editor. Choose the second option from the Header dropdown to not display the title and breadcrumbs.

Hi adamsqb,
This is the first time I’ve ever heard of the theme not performing well with chrome so right now there is zero intention of an update to address anything with it.
Looking at your site now with the latest version of Chrome on a windows 7 machine and OSX I’m having no delay in page load or performance issues.
In addition, the dozen or so sites I’ve built and manage using Enfold don’t have or have not had any reported Chrome specific performance issues.

Devin
Glad we could help :)

Hi Shallnotbe,
Can we take a look at one of the sites live? I’m sure Kriesi would like to log in and poke around to see if we can find a common source for the issue.

Devin
Hey Siobhan,
You’ve got the header selectors as classes which is incorrect. Just remove the period before h2,h3 etc in your Quick CSS.

Hey Fabiana,
See if the video on installing via FTP helps: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/64927356

Hey Gstar72
I answer this in your other topic where you asked as well: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-graphics-query
Just to help keep things easier to search and for us to answer please don’t make a new topic if you’ve already asked the question in another topic.

Devin
Hi Gstar72,
We would need to see the implementation live and inspect the code. If you could also provide a sample of what you are adding in that would help too.

Devin
Glad you were able to get it sorted out :)

Hi Mika,
It looks like there is a javascript error with the plugin implementation. You may need to add it in to the regular visual editor if it isn’t working with the advanced layout editor and do the layout via shortcodes.

Devin
Hi ste_thumbs,
I’m not really clear on what you mean. If you aren’t using the effect with 1.7.1 however give updating a try and then re-create the color section as there were some improvements in the parallax settings with the 1.7.1 update.

Devin
Hey Andrey,
Glad you were able to get it sorted out.
If you have not already check out the AviaThemes channel where we have some videos on using the theme and functionality and will be adding more over time: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes

Hi Siobhan,
In the functions.php file you can find all of the thumbnail sizes that the theme generates for each image uploaded.

July 10, 2013 at 3:10 am in reply to: Portfolio – Grids, Preview + Featured Images Not Working Correctly #128705Hi Siobhan,
1) The example there is using the Corona theme and is only showing the slideshow at the top.
2) The image is getting scaled to fit the width. Then whatever height the image ends up is what you get as a result. So if you want to have a consistent size, you should use the same exact image size or ones with the same ratio of width to height.
3) Again, this page is loading up the Corona theme for me as well.
Regards,
Devin
Hi Siobhan,
You just need to use the more tag. See: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

Hi web4smallbusiness,
Check your Appearance>Menus section of wordpress and you should have the menu you’ve added to the socket there.
The copyright data is editable in the Theme Options>Footer.

Devin
Before anything else, try updating to the just released 1.7.1 which has some bug fixes and may help. In addition, re-create that page completely by removing the portfolio item-saving-then re-add it in.
Great work Spinner! I love the idea of putting the whole blog post for tutorials into two tabs!!
Hi jdarko82,
Re-download the theme files from themeforest and before uploading open up the includes folder and make sure there is no loop-sti.php file. As far as I know the file doesn’t exist within the theme so it shouldn’t be there or the cause of an error.

Devin
Hi lorenzo09,
You would need to log in to their Envato (themeforest) account. We don’t have access to anything on the themeforest side of things so there isn’t much we can do from our end.

July 10, 2013 at 12:17 am in reply to: Main Nav section as a Widget Area with Widgetized Nav menu #128612Hi Holubik,
You could probably hard code in conditional ‘if-this page then show this’ code to the header.php file and have it switch the actual menu. You would just need to register new menu locations and then assign each menu to the new location.
See:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Conditional_Tags

Hi emi56,
It sounds like you may have a color section named #next as an achor. If you can provide a link to the page we’ll take a look and inspect the code to see for sure.

July 10, 2013 at 12:12 am in reply to: How to turn off hyperlink on portfolio AJAX preview img #128608Hi DavyE,
You can change the url for the image in the individual portfolio item options under the regular visual editor with the “Overwrite Portfolio Link setting option”.

July 10, 2013 at 12:10 am in reply to: How to arrange contents in megamenu through pages/sections #127231You should be able to enter all of those URLs manually by adding custom menu items. Just add the section anchor after the page url to make the link point to that section.

Devin
