August 13, 2013 at 10:52 pm in reply to: Entypo Icon Font Not Appearing in Safari on Windows #135142Just an aside, Safari is no longer supported on Windows by Apple as far as I know.
Hi Nicolas,
For the buttons, Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:
#top div .widget_shopping_cart .button {
min-width: 105px;
}The interface issue is from your SEO plugin and not caused by the theme.

Hi TIMODENIJS,
What version of Enfold and WordPress do you have installed? Have you tried disabling all active plugins?
Regards,
Devin
Hi RobPhrase,
There isn’t any theme support for browser zoom. Responsive means that the site will modify itself based on the size of the screen.
So when you use the browser’s zoom function, it isn’t the same as looking the site on a smaller screen.
As for a fix, I really don’t know. I’ve never run across any css to target or even identify when a user has used zoom.
Regards,
Devin
Hi Mark,
You can target it and then re-set the styles as needed:
h3.commentsclosed {
background: transparent;
}So box-shadow, color, padding, text shadow etc can all be set to their base values or you can modify it however you want.

Devin
Hi AbacoSoft,
The LayerSlider plugin included is a modified version for use with the theme. So the skins aren’t applicable or included. Some other functionality like shortcodes are also not available so that it will work within the theme without issue.

Devin
August 13, 2013 at 1:22 pm in reply to: problem centering a css button inside of a toggle / accordian shortcode #134863Hi nheird
You need to make the button display:block so that it can have the defined width and the margin trick will work.

Devin
Hi Niels,
Take a look at this video: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/64927358
I go over the layout editor and make a quick layout. This is the long version go over all elements available a that time: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/64927359 (needs to be updated with some of the new features)

August 13, 2013 at 1:08 pm in reply to: Twitter RSS widget: Twitter follower count doesn't update #134368Can you try disabling your other active plugins and then removing and re-adding that widget? With 9 active plugins it could be a code conflict preventing it from properly working or something like that.

Hi designprime,
Just trying to track what has been still been the issue reading the thread here but not having any luck really following it.
Please re-state what your issues are at this point as I’m fairly certain we are beyond what we can do via support at this point and its much more in the territory of needing to be done by a freelance developer.
There is a limit to what we can do for specific customization :)

Devin
Hi Sean,
That is a pretty in depth change actually. Have you tried both responsive layout sizes in General Settings>Responsive Layout? There is a wide version and a standard version.

August 13, 2013 at 12:58 pm in reply to: Sliders still not working correctly after 1.9 update #133336Hi Even,
That is exactly what I do in this video: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
However, you could also open the theme folder and drag and drop each folder within the theme and then make sure there are no upload error.s
I’m going to close this topic now however as its getting off topic and too many voices with too varied of issues. So see if replacing the style.css file in your parent theme folder works first as well as re-uploading via FTP.
If not, just make a new topic outlining exactly the issues you are having now.
For anyone else please do the same so that we can properly address each issue individually.
Regards,
Devin
I don’t think Nick would set it up incorrectly which leads me to believe it may not actually be a w3tc issue. You may want to try re-enabling w3tc but then clearing the cache for it.
Then disabling all other plugins besides w3tc and clear the cache again. Now check to see if the lightbox works again. If it does, it could be a conflict with another plugin and w3tc instead of w3tc itself.
I don’t have any resources for w3tc at the moment but I’m betting a google search would turn up some tutorials.
You can change all comment settings under Settings>Discussion. The theme doesn’t do anything but style them.
Can you create a temporary admin account so I can log in and take a look?
You can send the information to my email at DevinVinson (at) gmail.com. Make sure to include a link to this topic so that my spam filter doesn’t grab it :)

Hi ediblecities,
You got it! You can either use widgets that have the functionality you want (menus, recent posts etc) or regular text widgets with the content you want as you’ve suggested.

Hi Jake,
No, the testimonials are all static data right now.

Hi chilli-mind,
Unfortunately not, IE8 doesn’t support the css3 that is used for those effects.

Hi jimbolgs,
That gallery specifically is just the default WordPress gallery. So if you are using a regular visual editor you can add the gallery using the Add Media button or by using the gallery shortcode: http://codex.wordpress.org/Gallery_Shortcode
If you want to use the theme’s gallery/easy slider you can choose the image size from the dropdown in the shortcode modal window.

Devin
Yes that is correct. Typically you can make your life easier by structuring it like this in your css file:
.term-css .page-thumb,
.term-css2 .page-thumb,
.term-css3 .page-thumb,
.term-css4 .page-thumb {
display: none;
)Just a bit easier to quick read and add new lines to :)

Hi wesdacar,
I would contact BlueHost and ask them to take a look at your clean 3.6 installation if you have the extra chance. They are generally really good at helping solving issues.

Glad Ismael could help. It isn’t the best UI but once you get used to its quirks it does the job :)

Hi Jwinst,
Make sure that you aren’t logged into WordPress and that the admin bar is hidden by some other plugin. I’ve seen this happen one other time with a user on an older vesion of Safari but it fixed itself after some local cache changing out at some point with no change to anything on the theme.
If you have any plugins installed you can try disabling them and see if that helps as well as clearing you local cache for the site.
I can take a look at it on my end as well though I do have the newest OS+Safari combination .

Devin
Hi Jan,
If you let WooCommerce set up your pages then you already have the login/account page created. If not, you can create one and then in woocommerce>settings>pages set that page using the options there.
There are also probably some plugins available that allow for that kind of thing in widgets but I don’t know any offhand.

Devin
Hi mmsh8765,
With the under construction plugin running there is nothing we can look at. If you are running WordPress 3.6 you must be using Enfold 1.9.1+.
Other than that its a pretty big guess as to what is even happening without seeing the issue live.
Regards,
Devin
Hi Jeff,
You can follow along with this video: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
As long as the theme has the same name you don’t lose any theme settings.

Devin
Hi penumbra,
If you have the pages/posts/portfolio items in your WordPress “trash” they will not re-load in. The trash still counts for slug names and loading in the dummy data.

Devin
August 13, 2013 at 12:21 am in reply to: Sliders still not working correctly after 1.9 update #133333Hi Chad,
Are you using version 1.9.1 of Enfold? Are you running any plugins or drop-ins?
