Hi Eli!
At the bottom of that page is the changes for 2013 September 31 – Version 2.3. You can also view Kriesi’s post here: http://kriesi.at/archives/enfold-version-2-3-say-hello-to-our-new-iconfont-uploader
Regards,
DevinThe update function checks every 12 hours so give it a few hours and you’ll get the notice.
Hey!
Can you try removing the logo, saving, re-uploading it and saving again.
Also try going to the styling options and changing something and then saving (then back ).

DevinOctober 1, 2013 at 12:51 am in reply to: Any update on making top links above drop downs inactive? #168475Hello theReal4pixels!
You can add custom links and use the # symbol in place of a url to get non-active links.
Cheers!
DevinOctober 1, 2013 at 12:48 am in reply to: builder on post as well? + optimal size for image's color section #168472Hey!
Try updating your theme files to 2.3 which was released today. I believe Peter included a one column portfolio option.
Cheers!
DevinHey NickBrunson!
Where are the icons missing? 2.3 added the new icon font manager and a few other changes throughout the theme: http://kriesi.at/archives/enfold-version-2-3-say-hello-to-our-new-iconfont-uploader
So if we can see the site live that would be best so we can see whats going on.
Best regards,
DevinHi Michae1!
Check out the blog post that Kriesi just posted and the video I did showing to add your own icons. This is for version 2.3 so you will need to update: http://kriesi.at/archives/enfold-version-2-3-say-hello-to-our-new-iconfont-uploader
Best regards,
DevinHello Andy,
As far as I know the advanced layout editor can’t support outside hosted images because of the way it interacts with the data live. I’ll tag Peter and Kriesi and see if they have looked into anything like it.

DevinSeptember 30, 2013 at 9:23 pm in reply to: Works perfectly in safari, but not in any other browser? #168378Hey kasperdue!
The only thing I see not working is the LayerSlider. You can first try disabling any active plugins and see if that helps, re-install the theme files via FTP to make sure there are no errors.
For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
Make sure that there is no conflicts with any plugins by deactivating all plugins and drop ins you have active as well.

DevinSeptember 30, 2013 at 7:38 pm in reply to: excessive spacing between elements in advanced layout editor #168299Hey drmoody!
All of the heading elements let you assign custom padding below the element. Many of the other elements allow you to do the same so check those and see if that helps.
Cheers!
DevinGlad we could help. Let us know if you have any other questions or issues.
Hi!
Your installation of WP Super Cache at the very least is not running correctly. This errors is in your source code:
<!-- WP Super Cache is installed but broken. The constant WPCACHEHOME must be set in the file wp-config.php and point at the WP Super Cache plugin directory. -->
There also still appears to be 14 plugins active, at least at the time of posting this. Try deactiving all of them including any drop ins like Jetpack. Then log out of your WordPress admin, close your browser and log back in to try and write a post.
If that doesn’t work, switch to one of the default WordPress themes and try again. If you are still unable to post you will probably need to re-install the WordPress files again (except for the wp-config file which has your database content and the wp-content folders).
Cheers!
DevinHey jdrakeproductions!
Can we see the site and example section live? The only delay in loading the photos is going to be from the size of the images and the rate at which the server responds with the data.
If its an ajax portfolio section then the entire content of that page needs to load in when the user clicks on the portfolio and only doing one item at a time isn’t really doable.
Best regards,
DevinHello Bogusz!
Since we aren’t familiar with the plugin the best source to ask would be the plugin author. From the looks of it, the fixed position is getting added but there is some conflict with the positioning.
Regards,
DevinHey Raymmar!
The first thing to do is update your theme files. The version you have currently installed was updated a day after its release to fix a number of major bugs (1.9.1) and we are just about to launch version 2.3. So re-download and install the current version that is available from your downloads on ThemeForest and see if that helps first.
Since this isn’t the default comment system that ships with WordPress the theme has no styling or coding in place that is really effecting the current comments. So we’ll need a bit more information on how you’ve installed the plugin, modified the theme files to support it etc.

DevinSeptember 30, 2013 at 6:26 pm in reply to: Website loading slowly. Laggy experience when viewed over phone or mobile device #168247Hi promowl!
The best thing we can recommend is to use a plugin like w3tc, WP Super Cache and to make sure your images are all optimized to use the lowest possible file size while still keeping their quality.

You can save layouts using the Templates button on the upper right hand corner of the advanced layout editor. You can then click the same templates button and then click on a template to insert that saved data on any other page.
It isn’t a true template that gets updated whenever you modify the parent but it does allow for quickly sharing a single avia element into multiple layouts.
Best regards,
DevinHey ligend!
The theme doesn’t have any support for alternate color schemes on different pages so you would need to customize the other section/page using css to alter its colors and style.
Cheers!
DevinHey!
As far as I know the hover option on ipads is always set to be stuck to on until the option is re-clicked on (touched).
For the other issue we’ll need to see the site live and inspect the code.
Best regards,
DevinHi nickeary!
You can change the width that the menu switches to the mobile menu following this post: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/top-menu-with-the-social-icons-bigger?replies=5#post-132320

DevinHey comitzuu!
No, not at the moment.
Regards,
DevinHello!
For #1, this is the only way to accomplish this using the theme functions. The ID you use must be no spaces and just plain text. Just like in the image example above with the word contact.
The color section then outputs the anchor into the html so that when a user clicks on a link with #contact at the end of it, the user is taken to that anchor in the browser.
#2) Version 2.3 will let you add your own selections from fontello as icon fonts but right now there isn’t a youtube icon that comes with the theme.
#3) We don’t have any recommendations for that kind of plugin at the moment.
The new questions:
1) You can edit the footer/socket in the theme options Footer section. You can remove the backlink by adding [nolink] to the copyright field.
2) Homepage #7 isn’t using the easy slider for the main slideshow. Its the full screen slider. The easiest way to add color to the captions would be to do it with inline styling right in the images caption options. For example I just tested using:<div style="color:red;">Caption Title with HTML styling</div> <div style="color:red;">Some text with styling info</div>
The theme will add some break tags onto the title and it looks a bit off in the back end but it works on the front end.
For general server questions and domain issues you would be best suited to talking to your hosting and looking into a plugin like this one to export your wordpress database: WP MIGRATE DB

DevinSeptember 30, 2013 at 3:34 pm in reply to: !URGENT! # in-page links on main menu not working #168162Hi!
The anchors are just like any other anchor you would set in a regular html page. The browser goes to them and puts it at the top of the screen. What you are seeing is the anchor being behind the menu because the menu floats above the content.
So if you want the viewer to land below that then the anchor needs to be further above the content as you’ve done with the support pages and sections.
Regards,
DevinHey!
That would just be removing a style declaration from the slider. If that was causing the issue it might work by adding it to your footer.php but it wouldn’t explain it happening on some page loads but not other.
Cheers!
DevinSeptember 30, 2013 at 2:49 pm in reply to: Transparancy of content background, custom mouse-over and no menu borders? #168144Hey!
That is probably doable but it is going to take some experimentation and customization beyond what we can do via support. Right now the main colors just don’t have support for rgba color choices which is the easiest way to add transparency to the color.
Best regards,
DevinHey!
Set all the WordPress settings for your home page to “Your latest Posts”.
Then from the Enfold options set your homepage using the dropdown in the initial main theme options page.

DevinSeptember 30, 2013 at 1:55 am in reply to: builder on post as well? + optimal size for image's color section #167925Hi oliviad!
Posts within WordPress aren’t really mean to be pages and its best to process them with as little heavy layout interaction as possible to keep sites future ready.
Full screen images should be 1920 wide and anywhere from 300 to 500 pixels tall.
Cheers!
DevinHey yukanl!
The next version being released within the next day or so includes the ability to add your own icon font set from fontello.com . So if they are there then you’ll be able to add them in.

DevinHello deeps!
Your avia.js still shows the original switch width:
var menu = header.find('.main_menu ul:eq(0)'), first_level_items = menu.find('>li').length, bottom_menu = $('html').is('.bottom_nav_header'), switchWidth = 767;
See this post for more info: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/top-menu-with-the-social-icons-bigger?replies=5#post-132320
Cheers!
DevinHey!
Looks fine on my end. Tested in IE native installs on Windows 7 OS.
