Hi!
You have that first color section to take up 100% of the visible window space. The image is also set to no-repeat and center center which means it will *not* stretch to fit the space. You need to change the image settings to how you want the image in the background to behave.
Best regards,
DevinHey Michael!
First go to your WordPress settings>Permalinks and change it to default. See if that fixes things. Then make sure you are running 2.6.1 of Enfold so that you are on the most recent version and we are on the same code base.
Regards,
DevinI did a bit of searching just now on the general issue and it seems like its related to the new heartbeat api. See: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/admin-ajaxphp-being-called-from-admin-pages-causing-db-connection-issues
With either a plugin or setting something is pinging saves extremely often and causing the issue on the server. Another user mentioned that simply leaving a page open that was using the pulse writing ability cause major server issues.
It isn’t specific to MT but using the function included further down in that topic and disabling heartbeat may help you in this case.
Hi!
Deactivate all other active plugins besides WooCommerce and switch to one of the default WordPress themes. If you are still getting the issue at that point its an issue with WooCommerce.
It looks like there is some minification/caching set up as well so clearing it before deactivating any plugins will be needed.
Regards,
DevinHey!
With the update to LayerSlider there were significant changes to how the plugin handles slides and content. You will need to re-do any of the slides that have issues to work with the new options.
Unfortunately with LayerSlider any changes in how the plugin works is out of our hands since we aren’t the developers of it.
Cheers!
DevinMarch 14, 2014 at 3:26 am in reply to: Update 2.6: Chrome issues with google fonts, google map and transparent header #237348Hey!
As far as I know there is a current issue with google fonts and chrome.
The old google widget was removed and there is now a google maps element to create the contact form maps content.
As for the transparent header, can you point to an example on your site so we can take a look?
Cheers!
DevinHey hunter74!
Testing on iPad 1/2/Mini and iPad 3/4 I’m not getting any issues on my end. Is this with a specific iOS version?
Best regards,
DevinEnvato support would be the best place to ask something like that since Kriesi (and us) don’t really have anything to do with the specifics of licensing other than picking which license to use.
I *think* that would be okay because it falls under a single use but I can’t really say for sure one way or another.
March 13, 2014 at 7:51 pm in reply to: Advanced layout editor to build your own blog layout? #237144Do you have the WordPress settings for blog/home page set or is it the “use latest posts” in Settings>reading ? The theme’s settings should be all that is needed and if both are set it could be causing the issue.
Oh I see now, its getting hidden by some custom css you’ve added in at some point. Remove this rule and it will show:
#header_meta{ display: none !important; }
Glad you were able to get it sorted out :)
March 13, 2014 at 3:46 pm in reply to: *URGENT* 2.6.1 update broke back end, nothing from child theme is being applied #236976Rename your plugins folder to something besides plugins and if need be delete Enfold to get your dashboard back to be being accessible. It sounds like there is something else causing a conflict as a normal theme update shouldn’t cause that kind of issue.
So far this is the only case of that happening that I know of.
Hi pthurst!
The code that you add in there gets hooked into the WordPress hook so it auto outputs on every page: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_footer

DevinHey!
It sounds like perhaps the permissions for your WordPress user aren’t set to allow folder deletion. I would suggest talking to your hosting provider and see if they can assist in checking and modifying them.

DevinHi Frostholm!
Make sure you clear your browser cache and that if you have any caching plugins running that you clear its cache as well. Previewing your site in incognito mode or your browsers equivalent each time will also help make sure you are downloading the css each time you visit the page and not seeing a cached copy.
Cheers!
DevinHey Luis!
Unfortunately that isn’t something that comes bundled with the theme and that we can help you create. Its some custom code created by Kriesi just for his site.

DevinMarch 13, 2014 at 3:36 pm in reply to: New version problems (CSS, Menu resposiveness, Tooltip funtions) #236967I’m not sure what the root cause of it is but I’ve not had any of the same issues when updating my demo site or any client sites so far. I would suggest deactivating all currently active plugins and then re-installing the last update over FTP and make sure there are no write errors.
For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
Then see if things get back to normal working order.
Hi ftt123!
You can do that with the options on each page. Look for the meta box on the right hand side and the header text:
Title Bar Settings Display the Title Bar with Page Title and Breadcrumb Navigation?
Then use the dropdown to select only the title to be displayed.
Best regards,
DevinHi theroyds!
I’m not really sure what you mean. Which portfolio is it and at what point are you trying to right-click and save?
Best regards,
DevinHi!
You can use css to style first last using pseudo selectors: http://css-tricks.com/pseudo-class-selectors/
The menu in your second reply isn’t a menu but instead a tab shortcode: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/shortcodes/tabs/
Regards,
DevinLots of new things added in with 2.6 and still more to come thanks to so many great suggestions!
Quick reminder that the topic should only be used for feature request. I clean out off-topic posts regularly so if you have issues or questions make a new post and we can address it there.

Devin
Hi mjaraas!
You can adjust the header settings in the new Header builder in your theme options.

DevinMarch 13, 2014 at 5:28 am in reply to: Advanced layout editor to build your own blog layout? #236689Hey DavyE!
Did you select the option “Use the advance layout editor to build your own blog layout…” in the General Settings of the theme options?Missed your last sentence on the first read-through. What do you have in the layout of your custom page? You’ll need to have a blog element on that page in order to actually show any blog posts.
Cheers!

DevinHi Zheq!
Beyond the plugin mentioned here we don’t have any way of really helping to move from a dev environment to a live install http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/move-from-a-local-installation-to-a-live-server/
There are too many variables to get something consistent for all users. The main thing is that you need to have the WordPress installation on your live server with Enfold running and with the same plugins already installed. Then you can import in the database file the WP MigrateDB or WP MigrateDB PRO made for you to your phpMyAdmin or whatever mechanism your server has for handling the WordPress database.

DevinMarch 13, 2014 at 5:13 am in reply to: I just updated my theme and feature images and testimonials broke… #236683Hi laurendevine!
There are a couple of javascript errors which I suspect are the root of the cause. Try deactivating all currently active plugins and then see if that helps.
Best regards,
DevinHey!
It was some time ago that it was “fixed” and I’ve not heard of anyone having issues like that. I know with previewing vs saving a page it can be a bit less consistent but it shouldn’t be causing full errors.
Are you editing the debug field at all or just using it for backups?
Cheers!
DevinHi!
Go to your WooCommerce sub menu and click on the System Status page. This is where you can get a run down of your WooCommerce settings and at the bottom look for “WC Pages” and you can see what page is set to my-account.
In general the account page is set with the shortcode and with the Accounts tab in the WooCommerce options under Accounts.
Cheers!
