Zerozendesign, I previously needed a good back-end (wp/php) developer as well, especially someone familiar with Enfold. I can strongly recommend Peter Schönmann (“Dude”, Enfold staff) who can be contacted here: http://inoplugs.com/contact/
My experiences with Peter (having required his services multiple times) are extremely positive. He’s very skilled, polite, fast and as far as I understood he works with Kriesi to help develop Enfold.
EDIT: By the way, very nice website. One of the best Enfold sites I’ve seen, though a bit heavy (performance-wise). Good job!

I tried multiple hard refreshes, but loading the page now (several days later) it does look OK. I’ll keep an eye on it in case it randomly returns. :)
Thanks for the feedback, Devin.
kudos
FYI:
Looks like your Wax-menu is completely broken on Safari for Mac. Check:

Ok, thank you very much. For some reason my IE browser refuses to recognise the font weights then. As long as others see it right.
This confirms why IE is not my best friend. :)
So based on your suggestion, Yigit, this is what I’ve added to functions.php:
add_filter( 'avf_google_heading_font', 'avia_add_heading_font'); function avia_add_heading_font($fonts) { $fonts['Open Sans'] = 'Open Sans:300,400,700,800'; return $fonts; } add_filter( 'avf_google_content_font', 'avia_add_content_font'); function avia_add_content_font($fonts) { $fonts['Open Sans'] = 'Open Sans:300,400,700,800'; return $fonts; }
Unfortunately it’s still not working. Still just standard font-weights. I tried clearing my caches and gave it some time, but maybe you could double-check the page in my previous post to see if it’s working or not?

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately it’s still not working after a new update. I have overwritten all files (except for custom.css) and re-uploaded everything. Still, the search icon and some others are incorrect. :(

That is how I did it, I’ve never updated via the built-in option, always through FTP (just a habit). Perhaps I should try updating it again.
Ok, thanks for the feedback.

Please remember to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. We ask that the tone be kept courteous (with a little fun on the side) inside the forum if that’s ok with you.
March 28, 2014 at 2:32 pm in reply to: Advanced layout editor to build your own blog layout? #244366I’m not entirely sure what you mean by that, Ismael.
March 28, 2014 at 2:24 pm in reply to: Advanced layout editor to build your own blog layout? #244359Just as loyalzoo said. Following those steps gives us a blank page, no matter what page we choose, it stays blank indeed.

I have been using multiple fullscreen sliders on one page for months now, it always worked perfectly fine until the latest 1 or 2 updates, where there seems to be a small glitch until you resize the browser a little.
If multiple fullscreen sliders per page is becoming a problem for future updates, then I’ll be forced to use fullscreen color section, but that would mean I need to edit about 250 pages. That’s why I would prefer it just works fine again. :)
Reason why I use a second fullscreen slider instead of fullscreen color section is simply because the latter wasn’t available yet, back then.
Unfortunately it won’t work. Thanks for the info, though. Perhaps one day it will be added to the theme by default.
It should be the latest version, I probably just forgot to update the style.css file.
I’ve noticed the problem fixes itself by resizing the browser after it’s loaded, but I can’t add a message to my webpage telling visitors to resize their browser, now can I? :)
Strange, that’s where I looked and can’t find anything even close to what you said.
Perhaps we’re not on the same theme then. :)
Thanks.
And in which file would that be?
Hey Liminalty, nice site.
I like how the top menu bar disappears when you scroll down so only the main menu bar stays. I haven’t seen an option for this, so can I ask how you did that?
March 23, 2014 at 10:14 pm in reply to: Advanced layout editor to build your own blog layout? #241865Hey loyalzoo,
I haven’t offered Devin a login yet as I mainly just wanted to see how this works. The way I use it now does the job fine, I was just curious what the difference/benefit is. Apparently I couldn’t get any information, so I’m left no wiser than before. :(
Nope, sorry to disappoint you, but that’s definitely not the case. As I said, it doesn’t even happen only when I click that scroll down button. It happens even without clicking it.
It is there for sure, already 6 colleagues have reported this to me and I have it as well. Note that I’m using Safari on a Mac, but only one of those colleagues has a Mac as well, the others are PCs.
I guess I’ll have to make a video of it, as it seems you guys keep denying this issue actually exists.
Why would I want to do that? Why use fixed url’s when WordPress offers the ability to select a page to link to so the link doesn’t break when that page url changes? Why would I use a primitive fixed url if the fullscreen slider always allowed it and now it’s suddenly gone. Not only that, but it’s ONLY gone for buttons, it still works for a link on the image.
Updated to 2.6.1, problem is still there!
Not for me, it isn’t. The reason why I noticed the button option is missing was because the button on my homepage stopped working after the update. I thought I had to redo some settings just like with the header settings, but it turned out the option is just missing altogether. Screenshots below (by the way, it would be very helpful to be able to upload screenshots through this forum).
Option available as link on image:

Would you consider adding the same “scroll for more” button (now available for fullscreen slider) for fullscreen color sections?!
+1
PLEASE add some social media short codes buttons or pre – styled custom sharing option on blogs and products.
I personally agree that it’s strange something so basic as this is not yet implemented in an advanced theme such as Enfold. I dislike the fact that I am to find some third-party plugin just to add some sharing buttons that are quite standard on the web today.
March 14, 2014 at 10:42 am in reply to: Advanced layout editor to build your own blog layout? #237509I have changed the seetings of Enfold (static page: News; static page: select; …) and the Customize settings of WordPress itself (static page: News; static page: select; …). Nothing changes the empty page unless both are set to “select”.
Is there any example/video of how this is done and what it does? What’s the difference with doing it just the way I do now?
March 13, 2014 at 6:14 pm in reply to: Advanced layout editor to build your own blog layout? #237087Thanks murphy88, but in my case it’s not about fixing a/the problem. I use it the same way you do, at the moment, and it works fine. I was just wondering what this new functionality offers and how it works.
Enfold is a great theme but something is missing: nested columns for the builder
I have been struggling with this in the past as well. I can imagine this isn’t an easy modification, but it would definitely be great!
March 13, 2014 at 10:31 am in reply to: Advanced layout editor to build your own blog layout? #236794Logically yes, but I do have a blog element on that page, that’s why I don’t understand why it isn’t showing anything. It just disregards everything in my layout. Here is the entire code of my News page:
[av_textblock] <h1 style="text-align: center;">News</h1> [/av_textblock] [av_hr class='invisible' height='50' shadow='no-shadow' position='center'] [av_one_fourth first][/av_one_fourth] [av_one_half] [av_blog blog_type='posts' categories='791,789,787,1' link='category' blog_style='single-small' columns='5' contents='title_read_more' content_length='excerpt' preview_mode='auto' image_size='entry_without_sidebar' items='10' offset='0' paginate='yes'] [/av_one_half][av_one_fourth] [av_hr class='invisible' height='15' shadow='no-shadow' position='center'] [av_font_icon icon='ue84d' font='entypo-fontello' style='' caption='' link='' linktarget='' color='#000000' size='40px' position='left'][/av_font_icon] [av_hr class='invisible' height='10' shadow='no-shadow' position='center'] [av_sidebar widget_area='Sidebar Blog'] [/av_one_fourth] [av_hr class='invisible' height='75' shadow='no-shadow' position='center']
