Unfortunately it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However if its really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)

It might not have any relation with the version of the theme for you, but for us, it is a Support Policy that our clients run on the latest version, so we can be able to assist properly for them.

That is the usual way, most of the themes do work like that to the folders that they allow to be modified ion a child theme,

There is not an option to modify them somehow automatic.
They sliders are based on the design you can see, if you need to modify them somehow you will have to build some media queries
to edit them and make them work.Thakn you

Your code has some stuff correct but it is not complete.
You can use Rickard code, under a is_login into your header, which will hide the tab, when the user is loged in and it will show the CSS rules.Best regards,

That is a usage of a plugin, something like Product Listing, which you can find in the web.

What you need, requires advanced modification
There is no hook to work on that, you will have to take the files load them on child theme and modify them there.That is outside of our support policy, so consider to hire a freelancer who will help you out.
