Ok, the problems persisted but if I use the terrible WP block editor, for some reason, it works. Do you have any theories why this might be happening? I solved other problems in the past by switching to the block editor, including the impossibility to see the advanced layout editor otherwise.
Hi, thank you for noticing that! The webhosting finally updated php (8) on the server and the 404 error disappeared (great!). There are still some problems, apparently, so I’ll do what you’re suggesting. Thank you so much for your help. I hope this is the end of the issue (let’s see)
Hi, I’m afraid that none of those solutions work in my case. I haven’t received an answer from the webhosting regarding the missing php modules but I don’t have high hopes there. Any other ideas?
thank you, please keep me posted
Thank you, Yigit. I don’t know which combination of things are creating the problem. I asked already for the update you suggest, I’ll let you know if it solves the issue.
Thank you, Yigit. That’s exactly the problem: any new event you create will result in a 404 page. There’s not problem with past events. I copied the password below. Thank you!
December 8, 2020 at 12:20 am in reply to: custom widget > navigation menu reset over and over #1265647Hi Rikard, thanks. It happens the same if I use the widget in another part. And I don’t know how I could replicate the issue with a different template, tbh. I guess I will hardcore the sidebar to the template. Do you have a better idea?

I did that and tried a slightly different approach, loading the sidebar as a widget with the same result. It’s at the level of the widget where it doesn’t work. I know that I could hardcore the sidebar in the page template (php) but I’d prefer a solution at the dashboard level.
Thanks for looking into thisNovember 26, 2020 at 11:31 pm in reply to: custom widget > navigation menu reset over and over #1263393Sure, thanks.
This page should show a sidebar.
If I go to the widgets section, it looks as if it was never set up.
I fix this (meaning indicating the right navigation menu) and it works for a moment (the sidebar reappears). After some time, the cycle starts again (the sidebar disappears).I Imagine is a server/allocated memory problem, unless you have another explanation.
thanks againThis is extremely useful, thank you very much
Hi,
The article linked mentions that iOS5 and after, and Android 3 and after, have strong support for fixed positioning. If so, why Enfold has this feature disabled by default? How can we enable it?
Cheers
I am having exactly the same issue and I have been digging the forum to find the solution, but so far, nothing works.
The background image of the attached page stays fixed on mobile but scrolls on mobile devices.
Is there any solution to this?
May 15, 2018 at 6:13 pm in reply to: Problem with new avia-merged-styles loading after style.css #957156This solution seems more logical if you want to keep the minify functionality. It does not work for me, though? Any clues?
Thank you!
Thanks. Sorry if I didn’t explain the situation clearly.
What I need is to see my new taxonomy as an option for, for example, the portfolio grid.
Could you help me with this?
Thank you againAugust 31, 2016 at 7:32 pm in reply to: Advanced Layout Editor not loading (WordPress 4.6, latest Enfold) #680293Hi,
I have a similar though slightly different problem: the advanced layout does not load on existing posts but it can be loaded for creating new ones. I tried deactivating as many as plugins I could but still. It seems like an ‘exhaustion’ of resources to me. At what level? I’m not sure. Any ideas?yes, i did that. the problem is with WPML plugin. It ran perfectly with the previous version. Any thoughts?

I removed the flags.
You’re right, it’s actually the WPML switcher that is in the menu. I don’t like the format of it but because it’s in the Enfold menu I can’t seem to figure out how to change it.but the snippet does the trick, thanks!
I’m sorry,
what I’m trying to do is to not showing the main nav bar in the desktop version, but having a menu in the mobile one.
Is it more clear now?
thanks!,I got it!
.av-masonry-entry.av-landscape-img{
width:49.70%;
}instead of
.av-masonry-entry.av-landscape-img{
width:49.80%;
}thanks!
the question is: why it works full width but not with the boxed layout?
Well, actually that’s not a good solution. What about responsiveness?
Hi Devin, thanks, I’ll follow your advice.

Hi again Ismael, I’d like to change the way the name of the author is displayed, from the user name to the ‘nice name’. In the link, we have the two examples. Entries by (user name) and loop author with ‘nice name’
thanks again!
